Guys! My left (.)(.) hurts... and I am crampy!! Do you think those are symptoms?

(Although arguably my nork always aches and the suspected endo gives me cramps, but I can dream...)

Bucky2008 · 14/08/2008 16:49

So, now that we are all back. When are we going to Brighton?

How about Saturday 6th or Sunday 7th September?

Ah no, Ei, I'm sorry.
This time it will be your turn. I think you would suit a June baby.

sarahnh · 14/08/2008 19:59

I was on this thread last year for quite a while and finally managed to get my BFP... i had a little girl named Tess Alexandra on Tuesday so just wanted to let those who remembered me know and to say never ever give up hope.. this thread is what kept me going.. lots of love xxxx

ScaryHairy · 14/08/2008 20:03

Lovely news Sarah. Congratulations.

Evening everyone

So good to see so many ladies on here!

Ei hun I'm so so sorry to hear your period arrived but your turn will definitely come soon . Here's to a june baby xx

Bucky while I didn't quite make it to the Oak, I was having big fun nonetheless. I must also say that your posts have me giggling (the big lotto hand - I love it! And I swear when we head to the States next week I'll be in a diner waiting for a waitress to ask "Do you want an order of CM with that?"). And well done you for being so good. I'm being terrible at the moment, but figure I'll be all good and low GI and low alcohol/caffeine and lots of nuts and BDing from Sept on lol. And now why haven't I thought of the fake meetings plan like those girls from my company...

MOB so good to have you back! And so glad to hear about the positive steps re private tests. That sounds like a bargain (caitni thinks dreamily about a whole hour with a consultant to discuss plans to get a baby)

PnM god, I understand your feelings about your SIL. I find myself thinking similar things around my family at times (there are seven nieces and nephews, from 6 to 6 months). I feel even worse cos I know some of the problems some of them faced while ttc. Anyway, for me that's one of the joys of this thread. I can say it and not worry that people are going to think I'm evil Here's to good weather for the BBQ!

SH so glad to hear the app went well. It sounds like you got a great doctor. And good call taking your time and reassessing in a couple of months.

JollyBear yay for the good scan! Even if Jollycub is a little shy

And congrats to you Sarah despite just "meeting" you it's great to hear of the arrival of your baby girl (gorgeous names too!).

Big waves to all our other pregnant ladies and anyone else I may have missed!

We're off to the States next week - an old school friend's wedding in upstate new york (at her parents vineyard - they supplied the wine for our own wedding and their bestseller is a rose called foxy lady - can you see why I wouldn't mind some guilt free tipples?? Though of course would prefer a BFP ). There's going to be a huge crowd of folks who know us both (I met my DH when I was 16 and he was in my class in school, so the old school crowd know us both and find it quite cute that we finally got together all those years after school!). And then off to the in-laws in the pocono mountains, at the lake house where we got married. Am looking forward to it, it's a massive break from London/Brighton, but am planning a trip to DC too (there's only so much non-urban I can handle...for instance it was my third year of visiting this place before I realised there were premium outlet malls - calvin klein, nine west, etc - nearby and my god, I started to enjoy it more!). Me and the country definitely get on better when I can mix it with some city time I reckon

Enough rambling from me. Sorry for the marathon post!
xxx

Bucky2008 · 15/08/2008 17:23

It is very quiet on here and now its the weekend so it will be quieter still. I miss everyone . I have only looked at the thread a million times today and nobody apart from Caitni is here.

OP posts:
Caitni · 15/08/2008 17:58

You can call me thread-killer

Just to say that I had a temp drop today, and light spotting has now started, expecting full period tomorrow or the next day...despite fully expecting it I'm still rather depressed . Ei I'm with you on cycle 10 now (actually, I suspect it may be cycle 11 now but that's even more depressing ).

Hope everyone has a good weekend.
xx

Caitni · 15/08/2008 17:58

Bucky must have x-posts with you

ScaryHairy · 15/08/2008 19:49

I'm here too so now you can all cheer up!

Sorry your period arrived, Caitni. Never mind, June babies are the best.

No news from here; crampy feelings continue but now I am starting to put these things down to the suspected endo instead of down to imaginary pregnancy. And my clearblue freebie test arrived today so I am sure now it will happen for me (of course).

Have a great weekend

Bucky2008 · 15/08/2008 21:09

Does anyone want to do enter this free clearblue test. I am all paranoid about putting my details in when it is not a secure page but I didn't know if anyone else was interested.

OP posts:
ScaryHairy · 15/08/2008 21:15

I did already and the test arrived today. It seems to be MNHQ who are organising the sending out (albeit through an agent) so I suspect the usual posting name isn't going anywhere it shouldn't.

It's really really hard having a test in the house and not peeing on it!!

PicknMix · 15/08/2008 21:17

I'm here too!

Just packed the in-laws off - thankfully was a lovely sunny day so bbq went down well as did the car boot toys I managed to purchase (I think I have more toys & baby paraphernalia than most families who actually have children ). Was slightly tense at 1 point when sil cornered me to offer her condolences re my ftc and to offer to pay for us to go privately if we wanted. Which is lovely but just makes me more sad (irrational I know). Unfortunately I was chopping onions at the time so looked like I was an emotional wreck!!

Ei I'm so sorry to hear af has arrived. I guess at least you know where you stand now. As sh says, June babies are lovely!

Same goes for you as well Caitni - really hope its not af though.

It ain't over for you yet either sh - hope the clearblue brings you a bit of luck . I did their survey as well but didn't get one in the post today. Will see what tomorrows postie brings!!

How are you getting on Bucky? Any symptoms to report? Hows Finn? Is it his school time tomorrow? And has Molly worked out the door yet??

Xx

ScaryHairy · 15/08/2008 21:20

Hi Picknmix - your SIL sounds lovely, what an amazing offer. I'm glad the visit went well.
Am knackered so off to be (sad and old, I know). See you soon.

PicknMix · 15/08/2008 21:20

Ooo crossed posts with you (damn mobile phone takes so long!). I was a bit unsure as well Bucky but went for it anyway. The word 'free' always gets my interest!

PicknMix · 15/08/2008 21:34

It was an amazing offer sh but not one I'd feel comfortable accepting. Sil is well able to afford it but it just wouldn't feel right. Can't decide if I'm shooting myself in the foot but I'm a bit proud and it would feel like accepting charity. If things get really desperate I'm sure I'll change my tune though!

Sleep well x

QueenyEisGotTheBall · 15/08/2008 22:18

hi girls
caitni sorry AF arrived for you you are my (nearly) cycle buddy though so every cloud...eh!
scary when are you due to test? i hope it is your month
GG am i right in thinking your AF is due anytime soon?? good luck if it is
i had a pleasant/unpleasant postal surprise when i got home from work today my clearblue test arrived i am glad it did today and not 2 days ago otherwise it would have been wasted so i can hoard it until the end of this cycle whenever that should be
i hope everyone else is doing well
xx ei xx

QueenyEisGotTheBall · 15/08/2008 22:20

oh and...
PnM what a generous offer of your sil to give you i hope you never get to the point when you may need to look into it more though (ie your BFP comes along)
xx ei xx

ScaryHairy · 16/08/2008 08:13

I know what you mean PnM, but it is really generous and also must be nice for you to know that there is another way, should it get to that point, and also it must be good to have such a supportive family. With any luck you won't need to take her up on it though.

Ei somehow I feel that the nice freebie tests will result in many BFPs!! I am now on 9dpo, so will wait a few days before testing. My temps are pretty wobbly though so am not holding my breath. Symptoms if I have any are i) slightly achey, tingly left nipple, 2) tummy feeling like I have pulled a muscle, 3) being tired and in bed before 10 each night and 4) having skin that looks like Kevin the Teenager.
Who knows what's going on? Not me, that's for sure...
Have a great weekend everyone.

Madoldbird · 17/08/2008 08:26

Hello ladies

Sorry to add to the echo-ey silence in here - i have been so busy catching up with things after getting back.

Sarah congratulations!! So lovely of you to take the time to come back and tell us your news. So pleased to hear of the safe arrival of little Tess. I remember you from a while back, wasn't it you with the "crunchy tubes"?? Enjoy every minute with Tess - may she bring you all much joy and happiness.

Bucky i am up for the 6th or 7th sept. i will let nothing stand in my way this time! I so want to meet you all - i am just afraid that when i do i will burst into tears and hug you all rather pathetically (just throw me in the sea if that happens)

Caitni and EI at your periods arriving. Roll on those June babies though! Caitni if you haven't gone yet.. have a lovely holiday. It sounds fantastic - especially being in the mountains. i have been to DC a few times - it is such a lovely city. Enjoy those guilt free tipples, and if you ov while you are out there - then get to it!!!

SH you have a promising few symptoms - any news yet?

PnM Wow - what an offer from your SIL. You must have been taken aback. I admire her for bringing the subject up (when most people may not have the courage) but it must have shocked you. I guess it shows how much they care about the two of you. Competely understand why you wouldn't feel comfortable about accepting it though.

My body seems to delight in rubbing salt into my wounds - this cycle i have been producing copious amounts of EWCM (like it's saying "haha, you are not allowed to ttc, so i am going to taunt you") Bacon sarnie, anyone?? .

DH's birthday today, so we are going to go and have a nice pub lunch. I must go and ice his cake now, so it is ready for later.

Have a good day everyone.

MABS · 17/08/2008 13:17

sorry to butt in, if you do come to brighton 6 sept , we are having a meet up lunch, you'd be very welcome to join us.
