Well, I'd like to start this thread by saying a BIG FAT CONGRATULATIONS to everyone who has managed to get their BFP so far, and an equally huge dollop of luck to all those of us waiting for our BFP's!

am laughing out loud at my desk at myself.

MN - I did mean MS. Clearly spent too much time on here today!

lardybump · 15/07/2008 17:24

Oh NJ I know how that feels. I had to go to my friends today and ask her to change dd nappy because I was so sick smelling it from the outside that I couldn't undo it.

I hadn't even told this friend I was pg but have now.....

GYo · 15/07/2008 17:29

Oh poor you LB. makes feel green just thinking about it.

When did yours start?

NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 15/07/2008 17:30

Strangly, DS2's nappies don't seem to bother me, just food/stuff to do with food/tesco( maybe thats not MS!!) even sodding pictures of food, and yet still have never been sick, and I'm sure if I was sick I'd feel better, but then I think if I positively allow myself to be sick, I won't stop being sick LOL

Loverrrrly!

lardybump · 15/07/2008 17:33

Mine started at about 5 and 1/2 weeks GYo.

NJ I think that if i was sick I would feel better but the few times it has happended i didnt feel any better. The smell of coffee or fags is the worse. dp has had to drink his coffee in the garden at weekends...

2beautifulgirls · 15/07/2008 17:33

pmsl at the smell of the hotness of the oven.
With both my pregnancies, i could not stand eggs, the word, sight or smell just made me heave.

Right will update the list:

GYo · 15/07/2008 17:33

NJ-

Sounds hard, especially going on for so long and having other DCs to look after.

Im most worried about feeling sick and commuting. 45min train and 5min tube ride both of which are very crowded.

NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 15/07/2008 17:37

I am craving coffee so am OK with that! Eggs (hard boiled) are about the only thing I can eat with out feeling sick.

I have kind of gotten used to feeling sick now GYo, I know what to avoid altogether, and what I can handle, it is just so tiring! And boring. And annoying.

I'm moaning again....

lardybump · 15/07/2008 17:42

I hate it too NJ. It really does get me down so you have my sympathy 100%.

Can you take anything for constipation if pg? I have that really bad aswell.

GYo · 15/07/2008 17:44

off home ladies.... catch you laters

NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 15/07/2008 17:45

LOL G'night GYo

Not sure about constipation, things like prune juice etc. should be OK.

lardybump · 15/07/2008 17:47

I will have to try something I know that much.... TMI......

Have you managed to put anything in the oven yet NJ?

NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 15/07/2008 17:49

Yep, but I left the oven door open so long (to let the hot smell out) it cooled the oven right down LOL

T'is madness this pregnancy lark!

calsworld · 15/07/2008 17:50

LB - try apricots and prunes, bran flakes, anything high fibre, other than that I don't think there's anything you can do, remember to drink lots and lots of water too as you need it to get things moving as much as you need fibre!

NJ - I think I suffer from MN, its tooooo addictable

LB, I'm still in the 2ww, although this month is more like the 3ww. AF is due in next two days (I think) based on late OV on CD24! And yes, I have tested, far too many times, all BFN so far but am aware that its too early really as I didn't get BFP with DS till three days after AF due date.

NJ, whinge away - everyone else does! , I don't like the smell of much at the moment, def. can't give the dog her dinner and have gone off all vegetables. In fact, I've gone off food......and am suffering a bit with heartburn!

OP posts:
lardybump · 15/07/2008 17:53

Oh cals that all sounds good......

glaskham · 15/07/2008 17:54

LB i used to drink a litre of apple juice and the next day i'd completely clear up!!

NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 15/07/2008 17:55

LOL everytime I see this thread title pop up in active convo's I have a chuckle to myself. I can't help but wonder what MN is making of it, am sure there must be people sat there thinking "that's not a word, yes it is, no it isn't" LOL

I don't like moaning, well I do, but I try not to! LOL

Smell being 'off' has been the first sign with all 4 of my pregnancies.....

glaskham · 15/07/2008 17:56

Cal- i've had awful heartburn (just typed heartbeat there which has made me giggle) and i've never had heartburn without being pg before!! it was very weird!! been drinking tons of milk to cool it down!!

calsworld · 15/07/2008 17:56

glaskham - apple juice works? brill - i've just bought 3x1.5 litre cartons as have been craving it - at least I know I won't be bunged up anytime in the near future! Have even swapped my normal lemonade for apple tango!

LB - I know, I have a symptom list as long as your arm this month and I'm trying so so hard not to get my hopes up but its totally impossible not to I hope I'm not disappointed again but if I am, we'll just have to get on with the GOF'ing again

On the plus side, at least I detected my late OV this month which means I'm getting to know my body better, which might make things easier in the next few months of TTC

It is not much fun at the moment this pregnancy business I can tell you. So enjoy feeling good why you can.....

And as for romance I can not bear DP coming near me at the moment so that is off the cards for a while as well....

Roll on 12 weeks (I am still putting all my eggs in that basket NJ )

glaskham · 15/07/2008 18:01

thats right cals- just keep looking on the good side!!! I think thing's feel much much longer for me than it has been, i've been tracking ovulation since decembers cycle, then been ttc for 3 months really as the 1st month was ttc as a surrogate.... so it feels really weird that i'm not pregnant already!!!

glaskham · 15/07/2008 18:02

erm- not meaning you wont be pg- but at least if you keep thinking about 'next month's ttc' then if it was a bfn then it wouldn't hit as hard!!
