Well, I'd like to start this thread by saying a BIG FAT CONGRATULATIONS to everyone who has managed to get their BFP so far, and an equally huge dollop of luck to all those of us waiting for our BFP's!

CD 22 today. Tested what a plank! Was negative of course. Don't know why I did it really, was a waste.
Have been feeling really hot again today and still feeling bloated and heavy. Another weird thing is my face has been really oily the past two days. I was as reflective as a mirror when I got home.

Glask - sorry for AF arrival.
Nat - sorry to hear you have bad MS. Have to say am dreading getting sick, due to being a bit of an emetaphobe.

Hi to everyone else.

babytime · 15/07/2008 20:16

Hi

Just added my details

Just noticed Popcornprincess you are due twins - double congrats

I know a few sets of twins and its lovely watching them when they start talking between themselves - so sweet!

Looks like half of us are up da duff and the other half on the case

My friends have been trying to talk me out of ttc because my 30th birthday is coming up. I am normally a bit of a party animal when let loose (very rarely these days) but I said that the best birthday present I could wish for, would to be pregnant and they think I'm mad.

Right alone tonight so I am going to go and have a nice cup of tea, large cake, slob and choose what I want to watch - for a change.

Hope all ttc peoples are feeling BFpositive's !!!

And all duffed people are being looked after getting their pillows plumped and fed grapes I remember saying to DH after reading a pregnancy facts book "Did you know during the first trimenster a womans body feels like she is running a marathon a week?, so spoil me!"

My af is still here after stopping again all day. So light and isnt it funny MOnkeynuts how yours is too - all in the mind!

Love and hugs x

babytime · 15/07/2008 20:17

Cosmo girl - you are as bad as me with testing!

Symptoms sound strange though so you never know

calsworld · 15/07/2008 22:09

Been quiet on here this evening - we must be all talked out!

Off to bed now myself, back in the office tomorrow so probably will be checking in regularly won't be on much

Hi,

Just thought I would update details. We are on our first month of ttc baby number 4. Am now on the 2ww.

Congrats to all who have already had bfp's.

NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 16/07/2008 07:07

Morning

Cosmo, sorry for BFN, it is very early though, so don't be too disheartened.

Glaskham, if you're runnning out of things to clean, you can come and do mine if you want, it's not too bad, will only take you 10 years minutes

Counting down the days till Friday, DS1 breaks up from school, don't know if I am looking forward to it, or dreading it, I love having him home, but he will get so bored and we'll run out of things to do in the first week... and then we will have The Tantrums

We are running out of room on here, any thread titles rushing into people's minds? Oh and talking of thread titles, have you seen how the 'Bonker's Annonymous - more than just a TTC thread (no info is TMI)' is still running, it doesn't have a patch on us! More than just a TTC thread? What? Like a party that no one has turned up to? LOL

Morning Everyone

Cosmo- sorry for you BFN yesterday, symptoms are looking good though

I woke at 5.30am, as hubby was up leaving for work and i was desperate to test None the wiser another ebay cheapy and another very faint line??? AF due tomorrow and no tests left so off out today after school run to get some. However did wake with very very sore boobs, but also feel a little periody (sp) achey back and pains in stomach.
My DD1 last day tomorrow before nearly 7 weeks off, like you NJ not sure if i am looking forward to it or dreading it. Going to make the most of it as in September she starts school fulltime
We do have a few trips and days out planned, have decided to try out camping!
Also planning on taking a trip to London for the day to get our medicals done for the visas, reminds me i must book them.
Right off to get dressed and herd the kids out of bed.

Diege · 16/07/2008 08:14

Morning! Still sounding very good 2bg; fingers crossed for you .
Well I've had a bit of a hellish night . Had a sort of 'orangish' discharge last night, and then when I went to the loo before bed a pinkish discharge/bleed when I wiped . Since then, it's either gone, or a brownish pink discharge (like EWM streaked with pink/brown blood). Not sure what to think. 10 weeks tomorrow,so will try and hunt out nos of EPUS etc to get an early scan. Midwife didn't give me any numbers to ring, so not sure if I should try and get a midwife opinion first or just ring hospital direct. Any advice would be great!

NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 16/07/2008 08:20

Diege, sorry you have this to contend with, but I have had borwn-ish discharge in all of my (healthy) pregnancies, and then the proper blood in this one, and all have been fine. Going from my experience of trying to get a scan I'd say by-pass everyone and go stright to A&E, only because everyone else will try and fob you off.

If you want to try EPU first, I just rang the main hospital switch board and asked to be put through to EPU, but that was before I'd been booked in with a MW.

I am sure everything will be fine, but make sure you put your foot down and insist on getting a scan today, you can't be carrying that sort of worry around with you for any longer than is absolutely neccessary.

Will be thinking of you xxx

glaskham · 16/07/2008 08:26

I agree with NJ- if your in any kind of doubt then go straight to A&E.... I also has spotting of blood in both my (again healthy) pregnancies.

Thinking of you!! xxx

Diege · 16/07/2008 08:29

Thanks Nat. Will do a bit of ringing around after dds have gone to school. Don't think we have a EPU as such, but a women's day care unit that I think has a daily clinic open for all of 3 hours a day. I could cope with waiting for a scan until tomorrow, but really need to know what's going on. Just confused as to why, if things are ok, bleeding is starting now? Have never had it in other pregnancies, so a bit in the dark about it all! Certainly brought on my nausea now though!

Diege · 16/07/2008 08:29

You too Glaskham . Will let you know how things go.

NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 16/07/2008 08:43

I ended up having the scan on the Gynae ward, just watch out for them testing for all sorts of weird and wonderful STI's!

I think I mentioned at the time, when they did the scan she said she could see another pool of blood, no reason for it to be there, told me to expect it to either come out, or not, it didn't, when I had my dating scan it had gone, sometimes there is just no reason for a bleed out, and as you will know brown blood is much better than red, but then as I know, red blood, doesn't have to mean the end.

Also if they do a scan, if it is an external one, and they decide there is nothing there, absolutely 1000000% insist on an internal scan being done, so many people have nearly had D&C's when the pregnancy has been fine and healthy.

Sorry to put it so bluntly, but there isn't really a way of cushioning it is there?

Seriously I am sure everything will be fine, it is sooooo common to have some sort of bleed in pregnancy, I think the way they try and fob people off only testifies to that. Good luck seetie, and I know we don't do them but I am sending you some {{{{{hugs}}}}}

tinkhasagorgeousbean · 16/07/2008 09:11

morning

sounds good 2bgs
hi diege let us know what happens hope you get seen i am sure that all will be fine

morning nj

Diege · 16/07/2008 09:17

Right, after numerous dead-end phone calls, have got a scan booked at EPU this morning. Will let you know how I get on

HappyNewYearFeet06 · 16/07/2008 09:21

Hi, Just to add my age to details; 29!

diege hope all is fine, I am sure we will all be thinking of you this morning.

NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 16/07/2008 09:23

That's great Diege, will be a mega relief! I think with these things you only realise just how stressful it is/was after the event! Fingers crossed it will all be fine, and if you look at the positives, you'll get to have a sneak pre-view of your little one

What time is the scan?

EsmeWeatherwax · 16/07/2008 09:28

Hello ladies, I've been away for a while, as decided not to ttc at the moment, was supposed to be starting a course this year, had decided to wait til I had october, but I'm not getting to do it anymore, so back ttc-ing again...or will be in August since am nearly at the end of this cycle. Phew...

Diege, I had this kind of thing when I was pg with dd...then a full on bleed a week later, was all fine...hope you are too!

Big congrats to the pg ladies, I had a quick scan through the list! Have missed a month worth of threads...hope everyone is ok!

2beautifulgirls · 16/07/2008 09:41

Diege, i will be thinking of you, i'm sure your bean is well snuggled down.

Welcome back Esme

off out to get some tests food shopping. see you all later.
