Well, I'd like to start this thread by saying a BIG FAT CONGRATULATIONS to everyone who has managed to get their BFP so far, and an equally huge dollop of luck to all those of us waiting for our BFP's!

KK - PMSL at the description of your lounge, sooo glad my house isn't the only one!

Actually, do you all know I've got cleaners?, well, on Tuesday they came in and had to tidy some of DS' toys away, including a partially deflated ball pool. Last night one of my friends came round to play with DS catch up with me and DS demanded the ball pool - only problem was I couldn't find it. I kid you not, a 5' dia ball pool? Not that hard surely? Found it in the end to DS' delight! God those girls are good!

NJ at all your memorabilia and he's only 5(?)! What will you be like when he's 10?

The only room that I'm any good at keeping tidy is DS', but I think it has a lot to do with being the one that designed it and chose the furniture so there is enough storage - most of our other rooms still have inherited items in so are not quite as good at hiding -my-- hoards storing as I would like.

I get given slips each day from DS nursery and I haven't thrown one away yet. He's been there nearly 10 months! Current hiding place is getting rather full and I'm going to have to make some decisions. Perhaps if I just kept one per week or one per month it would be enough to see his progression?

I seem to have run out of trumps for a bit, which is good as my colleagues have returned from their meeting. Sadly they are not very smelly or would def. have been dropping more next door .

oh dear!! trumping in your boss' office!! how naughty of you

I am still rather sad that i got a BFN this morning, really and honestly hope it is just too early, DH phoned me and asked if i'd woke him up at stupid o'clock saying it was a BFN... it was 5am!!

He said he's a bit gutted, whereas last month he just said 'there's always next month'.... and last night he even said he noticed my boobs were solid and full, not like normal pre-AF... and that he'd prefer a boy, but if we had either he'd be happy!!

glaskham · 10/07/2008 14:23

NJ- i'm like that when i get going too- i can spend 3hours in an evening sat on the floor sorting the kids toys, all pencil crayons in the correct place, all lego with the matching lego, all wooden blocks in the correct bag etc..... and thats without being pg, when i am pg i go mad on cleaning!! DH loves it!!

Afternoon ladies [and Cal - you dirty trumper!] Made me

Well, I am officially confused. Had a little bit of EWCM this morning so thinking maybe we are still in the running and could sneak in a GOF tonight...I am a bit disappointed about last night but hopefully Monday's GOF will have us covered and the little swimmers were waiting patiently to pounce.

TGI Friday tomorrow. First week back from hols has been painful and I'm looking forward to a rest again.

glaskham · 10/07/2008 14:31

OOOh- for all you pregnant ladies, La Redoute and Verbaudet have a massive sale- there's a really nice summer dress for £8.50!! and loads of other maternity clothes really cheap!! Just thought it worth a mention!!

NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 10/07/2008 14:48

Have done the wardrobe (which is actually 6 shelves, a chest of drawers, one of those things that hang from the bar with 6 compartments (wardrobe tidy????)) and made a start on the shelves!

Got to go and get DS1 and carry on And have had some time on here And some lunch would have been good And I was supposed to have the whole house done by now LOL

NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 10/07/2008 14:49

Tut have had no time on here, well very little!

Heebeejeebee · 10/07/2008 15:49

Hi all

Sorry about the BFNs, but the show ain't over yet!

Think I am getting a tad obsessed - I was just going for my umptieth wee today and was contemplated how tired/light headed I was feeling. Immediatly logged them as possible pregnancy symptoms, then remembered I haven't even got high fertility on my monitor yet. Is this a record for early symptom spotting?

glaskham · 10/07/2008 15:50

i bet it will feel great when its all finished though!! I did that with the dc's room on tuesday and i love going in there every day as its still spotless!!

babytime · 10/07/2008 16:01

Hello there

I have officially invited into thise thread by GYo

We are both due period today, I am not sure if mine has turned up or not because I have just had a brownish discharge this morning and nothing since.

I have already tested three times not today though so cant face seeing another BFN.

Thought I would wait for tomorrow and see if my period gets going. I dont normally start with spotting so I am staying hopeful its an implantation bleed.

I dont think I could test if i wanted because I have done so many wee's today like the ones you do when heavily pregnant that last a second so I could not wee on a stick for five secs anyway

babytime · 10/07/2008 16:03

please excuse my terrible spelling and typing, trying to multitask and as you can see - not very good at it... and I want more

just to say GYo suggested i join on here because its a great thread. look forward to chatting with you all.

GruffaloSoldier · 10/07/2008 16:05

Welcome babytime!

I actually answered your thread on implantation earlier!

I was due today too (although not 100 per cent sure, just thought I was 14 dpo)

So I have tested about three times this week too, and have just bought 4 first response tests as they are on offer in boots

Anyway welcome! You will love it here!

glaskham · 10/07/2008 16:06

Hey there babytime!! GYo is right- this is a great thread!! has been great help to me so far on my ttc journey!! fingers crossed your bleed isn't AF!!

babytime · 10/07/2008 16:07

no way - so did I - copycat

so are you going to test again today?

glaskham · 10/07/2008 16:07

ooh, how much are they in boots Gruffalo?

GruffaloSoldier · 10/07/2008 16:09

10.79 buy one get one free so you get 4!!

GruffaloSoldier · 10/07/2008 16:11

sorry baby time - missed your question! I might not sure yet. I need to weigh it up a bit more! Might wait til this evening and if you wait four hours without weeing its more like FMU. Hmm its so tempting!

GYo · 10/07/2008 16:14

Glad you made it over BT!

glaskham · 10/07/2008 16:15

wow- i may just have to make a trip!! can you get them online do you think??.... gonna go and have a look!!

I just looked at my diary, and i normally come on 2 weeks to the day that i get my first + on my opk's... so that means AF isn't due till the 14th, so i'm only day 10 of cycle and not day 11 like i thought.... given me a little bit more hope!!

GruffaloSoldier · 10/07/2008 16:16

Gyo what time are you testing??

calsworld · 10/07/2008 16:16

I'm bored, bored, bored of the doing the same job, facing the same problems and dealing with the same people.

Roll on maternity leave ....I wish!

More achey tummy again this afternoon so I'm obviously not hungover Playing even more convinced its AF on her way in .

Welcome babytime, take it this isn't your first, how many DC do you have? How long have you been TTC etc? Clearly I'm bloody nosey just curious !

calsworld · 10/07/2008 16:18

Oooh testing - who? GYo? You testing today not waiting till tomorrow.....

Cool

OP posts:
GruffaloSoldier · 10/07/2008 16:19

glask - they are on line but i think there is a delivery charge.

GYo · 10/07/2008 16:20

Hi Cals- I can fax you some of my work (as well as my house keys for cleaning) if you'd like some varied stuff to do!

Yeah- testing later before Nat self combusts

I assume that AF can be delayed by stress of looking out for it?

Anyone had that experience?

glaskham · 10/07/2008 16:21

It's £2.95 p&p.... but my local boots is only a 20min walk away and even if i got the bus both ways it'd be cheaper (and gives me an excuse to browse the shops in town!!) so think i'm heading to town tomorrow.... i'd go now but dont think i'd be able to resist peeing on them all tonight and tomorrow, so at least if i go tomorrow then i have to wait till saturdays FMU!!
