Well, I'd like to start this thread by saying a BIG FAT CONGRATULATIONS to everyone who has managed to get their BFP so far, and an equally huge dollop of luck to all those of us waiting for our BFP's!

NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 10/07/2008 07:18

Morning all

Hope people's periods stay away, feel like it's time for the next BFP now

If I am here anywhere near as much as I was yesterday, kick me off please, house needs a good going over, really can't be arsed with it, but it needs doing!

GYo, have you tested???? ("No" is not a good enough answer! )

Cosmogirl · 10/07/2008 07:56

Morning, guest stayed over and I was grumpy by the time we got to bed so didn't bother with a GOF. Bit annoyed this morning because think I was ov'ing, so have prob missed our chance this month....Oh well....

GYo · 10/07/2008 08:41

Morning everyone

Hi Nat- no, sorry Mum! I havent tested - I know i need to now. Still no sign of she devil (AF) - and I usually get spotting a couple of days before due date...

Was going to bring test to work with me but was running late...might do tonight, after yoga when DH is watching Heroes!

Nat- please can you pop round and give my place a going over too ?

NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 10/07/2008 08:45

Oh no Cosmo, hopefully your other GOF's will see you covered.

GYo tut tut tut. Clean your own sodding house, (and then come and do mine!!)

It is no good saying you know you have to test, just bloody test woman! No spotting is good

GYo · 10/07/2008 08:53

LOL - just given self stern talking to. Will do it tonight.

Gruffalo- are you testing today??

glaskham · 10/07/2008 09:09

GYo Heroes isn't on tonight!!!

I tested first thing (11dpo) to a bfn but maybe its for the best.... i was a little upset when i saw that as for some reason yesterday I just 'felt' pregnant. I have hard full boobs but they are sore at the bottom, normally pre-AF they are all squashy and sore. I also have such tight tummy muscles its hurting when i move in a funny way, or too fast.... dont normally get that pre-AF.

And to top it off i had such a vivid dream of testing, seeing a faint line then taking it into the bedroom and showing DH that i woke up thinking i'd tested and was pregnant, only to find the one HPT i put in the bathroom still there....

so i admit i am a bit sad about it.... but hey, its not over till AF shows up i suppose!!

GruffaloSoldier · 10/07/2008 09:10

Hello! Have just tested using tesco cheapie and BFN! I have no signs of AF though so will probably test again on Saturday.

Right going to go read this mornings posts and then going out to buy first rsponse

How is everyone else this fine sunny morning?

GruffaloSoldier · 10/07/2008 09:14

Glask - sorry for BFN but you are right, its not over til Af is here! 11 dpo might be a bit early anyway!

glaskham · 10/07/2008 09:31

fingers crossed as i swear i honestly do feel pregnant, woke up with sickness feeling... was very shocked to get a bfn this morning!!

GruffaloSoldier · 10/07/2008 09:38

Yep fingers crossed! So will you do another in a couple of days too?

My problem is I have just come of the mini pill so have no idea what my cycle is doing. I am just going by when I thought I ovulated which I guess might not be that accurate.

Even if AF does finally show, I will be at least reassured that I'm getting back to normal!

Starshinetiger · 10/07/2008 09:40

Morning All. Sorry for BFNs Glask and Gruffalo. Where are Cals and KK - they really should be testing today I'm sure.
Sorry to have missed yesterday - was very amusing reading through it!

GYo · 10/07/2008 09:45

Sorry to hear of BFNs Gruffalo and Glask- definitely worth keeping on testing. Try and keep smiling

How are you feeling Star ? Has it sunk in?

glaskham · 10/07/2008 09:49

yeah, how are you star??

i'll probably do one test everyday with FMU till AF arrives....

Starshinetiger · 10/07/2008 10:18

Hey both, hasn't really sunk in yet and am feeling so AF-y that I think maybe it's a mistake. Am going to test again with FMU tomorrow and if it's darker, I can tell my Mum tomorrow, as it's really hard having her here with us and then not telling her! I keep reminding myself that with DS, I tested a week after AF due (so much innocence the first time round) and it came up really strongly positive, but a few days later I tested again, as I didn't feel pg, so hopefully it's the same this time. Doesn't help that i have a horrid sore throat and cough and therefore really tired - am sure I can't put tiredness down as a pg symptom this early on
Glask - think you're right to test until AF arrives, think you're my cycle buddy and I'm not even due until Sat with my short cycle, so you really never know!

calsworld · 10/07/2008 10:43

Morning all, I'm back at work today so won't be on as much as yesterday - or if I am, I'll probably get sacked!

Am feeling much better today, tummy cramps are still there but getting better with the discreet wafting of trumps. (My boss isn't in today and I'm taking great pleasure from wandering in 'looking for something' and farting in her office. Very satisfying .)

I didn't test this morning, feel like I'm tempting fate and that its still too soon, AF not here but I think she's on her way, and I'm not sad about that at all.

Would be perfectly happy to come and clean all your houses today - def. not a pregnancy sign this early on, but I do find a get a big burst of energy and feel motivated just before AF arrives! Only thing is, work pay me lots and whilst tea and biscuits would be nice reward for cleaning your houses (ooh, and a good chance to nosey) I'm thinking I'd better stay put .

Sorry for your BFN Glaskham, fingers crossed its just a bit early for you.

GYo - can't believe you've held out this long to test - slack girl, slack

NJ - What can I say girl, you're losing your touch clearly!!!

Have a good one and I'll try to catch up later, gotta go now though as need to trump again!!!

calsworld · 10/07/2008 10:45

Oops, cut and forgot to paste back in again:

Starshine, even with AF due soon, it could still be too early for a BFP, a lot of people don't get them till after AF due date

OP posts:
NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 10/07/2008 10:50

I am having a break.....

Why do I always think I'll give it all a bit of a going over, and then get far too interested in stuff, and so decide 'oh I'll just do that cupborad', 'oh I'll just do those drawers....'? Started on DS1's bedroom, still in there Keep finding pictures he's drawn with I love my mum, I love my dad, I love my nanna, I love my baby brother etc on them, why do I have to stop and look at every one?!

Looks like I am in for a day of it at this rate!

GYo, testttttttttttttttttttttttt!!!! Please

Sorry for BFN Glask, as has been said, it is just too early.

Spose I'd better get back to it and make the most of DS2 being asleep! Why do I start these things?

NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 10/07/2008 10:51

Ooops glad you're feeling better Cal

GYo · 10/07/2008 11:09

LOL ok ok- will defo test tonight. Will report back ASAP.

Ooh Cals- you are always welcome at Chez-Gyo with your mop and duster. Glad you are feeling better

Playingthe9monthwait · 10/07/2008 11:37

Morning all,

Glad your no longer hungover feeling better Cal.

Nat - I wish I could find the enthusiams to clean my house like that!

Glask - sorry about the BFN but there is still hope if you only 11 dpo.

Star - I must admit I started to feel a little more relaxed once I had gone past the longest cycle I have had this year (AF turned up on CD39) even though I was expecting AF on CD35. Now I'm CD42 I feel like less of a fraud but obviously its still too early to be getting really excited yet and tell the world even though I am dying too!

GYo - you better test, Nat won't give up!

Gruffalo - hoping you get the BFP soon.

NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 10/07/2008 11:57

Oh no, it is much better being able to spend a couple of hours putting the house straight and cleaning as you go, than spending a couple of hours doing one room from top to bottom in every nook and cranny, and then still having the rest of the house to do!

I have been up in that room for the best part of 3 hours in total, all I've done is clear the floor, sort his books out and board games (though be fair that is a mamouth task!) sorted his desk and pens/pencils/rubbers/rulars/etc out, all his papers (and drawings/stories) still got his shelves (oh god help me) and wardrobe (oh god please please please help me!) to go, not sure I am brave enough to do under his bed without some sort of breathing apparel and a protective suit, suitable for nuclear disasters! Oh, and the pest control!

How can one small, gorgeous, cute, cheeky boy make so much bloody mess?????

NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 10/07/2008 11:59

And how am I supposed to stay sane, when I have just spent the last half an hour sorting through 6 packs of top trumps, and 3 packs of playing cards? Why do they have to mix them all up in the first place?

GruffaloSoldier · 10/07/2008 12:20

Thanks playing

I have been for a wee 4 times in 2 hours this morning and only had two drinks! I'm getting cross with my body cause I think it is tricking me! Also had dodgy tummy???

Im going to get the FR now. Will try and hold out til Saturday later on though

kookykid · 10/07/2008 12:27

Sorry for BFNs Gruffalo and Glask. Hopefully it's just too early. I had that whole dreaming a BFP last cycle. Then getting a negative is so much more depressing.

I am NOT testing again until Saturday IF (and it's a big IF as you can see!) AF doesn't turn up in the meantime. Expecting her to turn up this pm, so we'll see.

Cal - at you trumping in your boss' office - how satisying! I have to admit to blaming the children in my class at times

NJ - I am supposed to be tidying/cleaning my house too as we have people coming to stay this weekend. My house literally looks like a rubbish dump as DD seems to think the recycling crate is an extra toy box. Right now looking across my living room I can see an empty milk carton, several lids and some loo roll innards. Plus all of DD's scattered toys of course. I am NOT feeling very much likes sorting it out!

GruffaloSoldier · 10/07/2008 12:32

kk - fingers crossed af does not come! keeps you guessing!

Just been for my fifth wee!

Cal that cracked me up about trumping in your boss's office. Close the door and savour them for when she returns. (did I just write that?

It's raining here now - yuck! Maybe I won't be going anywhere.

Dissertation draft due in a week today and have sooooo much to do- eek!
