Well, I'd like to start this thread by saying a BIG FAT CONGRATULATIONS to everyone who has managed to get their BFP so far, and an equally huge dollop of luck to all those of us waiting for our BFP's!

LB, off so soon? Have a good evening!

Anyone there?

Doing ok thanks. Still can't work out if I've had AF. Started bleeding and cramps on Monday (CD1?) Felt like AF but only 2 weeks after ERPC. Also AF normally lasts about 7 days and I'm nearly done after 3!

Sounds like a great conversation on here today!

calsworld · 09/07/2008 20:08

MMmmm we've kept ourselves entertained

I know nothing of this, but instinct says that you may have a little gap and then a proper and fuller bleed?

Got a bit mixed up last night as started to think about ttc again but don't want to try to early and get my body all confused and then started to get really scared about the risks of ttc again. I know quite a few people go through mc but it has made me a bit wary about ttc. On the flipside the potential benefit would just be so fantastic I know we will ttc at some point so why not now?

I may wait another 2 weeks and see what my body decides to do!

How about you Cal - when are you due to test?

calsworld · 09/07/2008 20:17

Well, that's a mighty fine question. My cycles are a bit erratic...mind if I indulge and unload?

OP posts:
calsworld · 09/07/2008 20:23

We decided to start TTC after christmas and at that time I started to track my AF's, start / end dates etc.

Cycle 1 - 31
Cycle 2 - 41
Cycle 3 - 31
Cycle 4 - 31
Cycle 5 - 27
Cycle 6 - ?

Today is CD30 so am expecting to start AF tomorrow...

However, TMI (worse than what has gone before today), I think I OV'd late coz went to the loo on Thurs CD24 I was expecting to see AF as so wet but it was a big glob of jelly like stuff and assumed this was EWCM. Although to be honest, I'm not really sure...it kind of looked like what I had when I had my show with DS a couple of days before he was born.

So, if I didn't OV till CD24 then AF isn't going to be due until about CD34 onwards so shouldn't test till 14th July.

But if I didn't OV then and OV'd in predicted 'fertile period', according to mymonthlycycles.com then I'm due AF tomorrow.

Please do..... I do frequently!!

calsworld · 09/07/2008 20:27

LOL, I thought you'd say that , what do you reckon then?

OP posts:
Ses15 · 09/07/2008 20:29

Why does no one tell us how frustrating and complicated this ttc stuff is???!!!!

I can understand why you feel like you do. I guess you could test tomorrow if you put it into the perspective that AF may or may not be due and you may be effectively peeing away the cost of a test!

I'm only just starting to keep a daily record of my cycle / EWCM so not sure about your CM. Have you started symptom spotting?

Ses15 · 09/07/2008 20:34

I know in a few years it may seem that it didn't take that long to get pg (or at least that's what I'm hoping!) Now though it seems like it's taking forever!!!

calsworld · 09/07/2008 20:47

I know! When I first joined the TTC thread it was all about having someone to share the excitement with, I never imagined there was so much that you could know about it! I really expected it to be very straightforward. Yeah right!!

I do write down and track 'symptoms' but this is not so much to detect pregnancy as to learn what are normal AF symptoms. I also wanted to make sure that if I do have problems and ask for help from Docs that I have a record I can show them rather to stop them from poo pooing me. (I have endometriosis which can cause complications, am really hoping this isn't the case).

I had many reasons for Breastfeeding DS, all the classic best for baby stuff, but on top of that I have loads of food allergies, eczema and asthma, plus, the longer I BF and kept periods away, the longer the endometriosis would stay away for! Best for both of us...I stopped BF in September and my periods returned in October so only had three cycles before starting to TTC.

The intense pains I am currently having are not normal AF feelings but yet could well signify that she's going to arrive tomorrow. I don't feel pregnant, I feel due on, just with the sore boobs and tearfulness!

Sorry for mega waffle!

Hello again.

Cal, that's exactly how I feel - "I don't feel pregnant, I feel due on".

Hate this waiting! How are you feeling btw?

Ses, I'd still give it a couple of weeks if I were you, it's not that long in the scheme of things. Know how you must be feeling though.

Ses15 · 09/07/2008 21:12

What are the intense pains like?

(Sorry if I've been away and you've gone now! On phone with my RL BF!)

Ses15 · 09/07/2008 21:15

Hi Kooky! I think you're right - in a few years a couple of weeks or months will be nothing. I just hope it happens quickly when we do try!

calsworld · 09/07/2008 21:16

Hi KK, just eaten again so don't feel sick, but tummy feels rubbish, lots of tummy ache..not little cramps just one long ache.

How are you doing? You OK?

OP posts:
calsworld · 09/07/2008 21:20

x posted Ses...bit hard to describe them, kind of like I'm super inflated and stretching from left to right, walking is quite uncomfortable... it kind of feels like the endo pain I get when I am mid-AF (like my insides are about to fall out!)

OP posts:
kookykid · 09/07/2008 21:28

Cal, I'm fine - having another glass of wine to cheer me up after being stuck inside all day. Am certain AF will turn up tomorrow.
So sorry you're feeling bad. Wonder what it is.

Ses, You've gone this long now, another couple of weekd will go quickly. Bettr to start ttc knowing you're all clear. Otherwise you'll only worry!

Have been reading funny thread about lo.s.

calsworld · 09/07/2008 21:32

Well cycle buddy, I think mine will too!

Which thread kk - could do with a laugh!

GYo · 09/07/2008 21:34

evening all just checking in to say hi. Can't read everything as I logged in on my phone but wanted to say hi. Still not tested. No decided I'm as scared of bfp as I am bfn!

kookykid · 09/07/2008 21:38

here Cal

Well, at least we can be cycle buddies again!

Ses15 · 09/07/2008 21:39

Not sure on your pain Cal. I know when I was (briefly!) pregnant, I had quite low cramping pains that hurt a bit more when I was more active.

kookykid · 09/07/2008 21:39

Sorry, didn't mean to ignore you GYo. Don't be scared! The nerves are probably worse than just testing! Good luck!

GYo · 09/07/2008 21:45

Thanks KK. I will do it soon. :-)

kookykid · 09/07/2008 21:58

Night everyone.

Diege - are you a "Tour de France" widow now the tennis is over?? seem to remember you saying your DH is into cycling?

calsworld · 09/07/2008 22:07
