After 18m persuading DH, we are finally (v gently ) TTc no 3.
As I am now 35, am convinced my fertility days are behind me.
Anyone in a similar position and needing to share support?

Thought I would ovulate today but still a high on my monitor.

Got some practice in lastnight anyway and who knows. I had more EWCM today.

Have bought vitamins, the book by Zita West about getting pregnant, have been drinking lots of water...

am really going to go for it in thennext couple of months.

Jools1 · 14/08/2008 14:59

Getting freaked out today - if I am not PG, I must be going down with something - last night, I had to leave my gym class (spinning) as I had no energy whatsoever and thought I was going to fall off the bike. Today at work, I've been feeling really dizzy, despite eating my sandwiches at around 11.30 and having breakfast, so had to go out and get more food

I've also been waking up with hot flushes for the past couple of nights. 7DPO and AF would be due in 4 - 6 days ...

The suspense is killing me !!!!

wasabipeanut · 14/08/2008 15:19

Well I don't think I'll need to wait until Sunday to test. I'm feeling a bit crampy so AF is clearly on its way

I didn't have high hopes anyway as 1st month of trying but crazily repsonsive sense of smell, heartburn and a succession of frankly mental dreams had made me wonder.

Hey ho.

sfxmum · 14/08/2008 15:34

this is why I hate this period, my PMT symptoms are very much like early pregnancy sore back dizziness nausea etc. so flipping maddening.
must set alarm for early tomorrow and go running to avoid the craziness as if

summerbird · 14/08/2008 16:49

jools i know you say you are not PG but you are sounding either as if you are coming down with a cold or in fact having early symptoms, i wouldnt take a test yet as it is too early, but you never know...

Jools1 · 14/08/2008 17:01

With my CP last month, I had more "flutterings" down below, diarrhea and nausea for two days (7&8DPO) and one very minor instance of pink spotting on DPO8. I was a little dizzy, but not as much as this time

Who knows !! Am trying not to obsess and keep busy at work ! Am on 7DPO now I think.

Fingers crossed for everyone

dharma · 14/08/2008 20:58

Jools1, I too have been having periods of feeling faint. AF was due yesterday but I am scared to test in case it is a BFN!!
I think I will try to hold out until fri pm or sat morning...
But I, like you wasabi, am normally regular give or take 1 day, so it is rather strange.

I just can't make myself believe anything (although subconsciously I guess I am thinking I am pg) so I keep worrying every time I take a pee, in case AF has made an appearance!

Anyway, will let you know - if you don't hear anything for days, it means I am too depressed to log on!

Good luck wasabi! (and anyone else who is testing soon)

ClairePO · 14/08/2008 21:00

It all sounds good dharma, being late is the best symptom there is! Fingers crossed for you.

Jools1 · 14/08/2008 21:14

Fingers crossed for you Dharma

I'm still feeling really quite dizzy and odd. DP bought me a wine and soda in the pub on the way home from work - I just couldn't drink it and ended up with orange juice.

It is probably still all in the mind - had a lot of these symptoms at the same stage last month but I am sure my boobs are more painful this time.

Since when did time go this slowly !!

numpty1972 · 14/08/2008 22:38

hi there just jumping on to say bye bye till wednesday, before i go i must tell you my funny story

i went to tesco last night and felt that familiar twinge in my side (OV Pain) so as it was 3 days early i bombed it back in my little honda, threw the shopping down and dragged DH out of the kitchen upstairs, shouting 'im ovulating hurry up' bless him he didnt have a chance!! he thought it was great (thank god) and loves this new little minx that TTC has unleased!

have great weekend everyone - the sun is shining and i have my shorts on

dharma · 15/08/2008 11:27

Thanks v much for your congrats!

Beanieb - I really recommend acupuncture - I started it 6 weeks ago and I did it for ds1 also.

Spangles - you were wondering whether to do it (acupuncture, I mean!) and said that you would if I had some positive news this month - well there you go! It's the way forward!

Good luck all!

DarrellRivers · 15/08/2008 11:54
