Did you ovulate on 2nd April? Christmas Day due date!

Eeek I've fucked up. Don't usually ovulate until around CD20, so thought I was good to go ahead and TTC this month (yes I realise a potential baby due on 31st Dec or something could come on Christmas Day anyway but it didn't seem as risky).

But I ovulated on CD13, and now if I'm pregnant it'll be due on Christmas Day.
I'm certain that this will be the month, precisely because I really don't want a Christmas Day baby.

I never trust the blue dye tests! Are you going to re-test tomorrow? Did you fall pregnant quite easily with your first?

@Amber17 I agree with PP. Try and get some pink dye tests if you can and test again. Fingers crossed 🤞🏻

@SureLook @HopefulCove Where are we getting pink tests? I can only find blue in the shops! We got lucky first month trying last time, I think I didn’t get a BFP til 12DPO even with FRERs so I’ll keep testing til AF turns up.

@Amber17 I ordered the Premom ones from Amazon. I was the same with my previous pregnancies. Conceived in the first month and had late implantation bleeding and BFPs.

It would be my second baby xx im trying to hold off until my missed period !

@Amber17 hi! Dodgy tests are so frustrating. You get all the disappointment and then you spend the next few hours telling yourself it didn't matter because it was a dodgy test, and then psych yourself up for the next test ... it just prolongs the agony! 😆

@VanessaShanessaJenkins99 good on you! Definitely better for your sanity if you can manage it, but oh so difficult.

I don't think I'm pregnant this month (based on basically no evidence whatsoever). If I'm right at least I would avoid Christmas!

Anyone symptom spotting? My boobs were sore this morning but I do get that the week before my period so I’m not that hopeful. I’m about 7dpo, I’ve got a few days away this week so I’m not going to test, just wait for AF and see.

@Onwardsandupwards2025 trying not to! To be honest when I am pregnant I don't get any symptoms (bar missed period) until about six weeks. So I can never tell 🙄

I am definitely symptom spotting 😂 I feel like I’m going to be quite disappointed if this month isn’t the month as I “feel” quite pregnant. Been getting on and off cramps since yesterday (6 DPO) and this morning I randomly woke up at 5am wide awake (which I vaguely remember happening in my pregnancy with my son - the disturbed sleep)
my BBT is also super high - is anyone else tracking their temp?

@HopefulCove yes I track temps. Mine is still high but I am only 12dpo and it can stay high until 15dpo even on a non-pregnancy cycle so it doesn't mean anything for me.
Do you normally get cramps in the middle of the luteal phase? If not that sounds very interesting! 🤞

11dpo and still bfn. Usually I wouldn’t even keep testing at this point, I’m cycle day 24 and usually I’d have sore boobs from day 19 letting me know AF is on her way. Every month my body does something different but sore boobs was the only consistent thing I had since I started tracking. I do have the other familiar full feeling in my sides so I suppose it’s just a matter of time now. Even the month I had an unusually long cycle of 31 days I had sore boobs from a week after ovulation. I am disappointed as I really hoped for a baby in 2025, we’re now going into 2026 with no children😔

Aw @Clara202 I'm sorry. BFN on 11dpo is not definitely out, but it does often. I really hope you aren't though! Do you think you'll test again in a couple of days or just wait for AF?

@GrizzlyTheBear I think I’ll leave it for now, AF will surely show up before the end of the week. If it doesn’t by the weekend I’ll test again but I’d be very surprised if I get that far. I was really hoping to avoid the hycosy, I think that’s a lot of the disappointment that I’m feeling.

@GrizzlyTheBearI think I’m going to wait until Thursday which will be 10DPO for me. With my previous 3x pregnancies I always have a positive by then so I think I’d rather start preparing myself for if AF arrives 😬 when are you testing? What DPO are you now?

@HopefulCove sounds sensible. I get wanting to prepare mentally rather than waiting for AF to surprise you at any minute 😬 I'm 12dpo today. AF due Friday so I'll test Fri if it doesn't show. I like to look at the test together with DH and he is working until Thur evening so that'll stop me caving and testing early!

@HopefulCove I find it takes the pressure off a bit, plus we do it together whatever the outcome - it's nice. You should try it!
I don't have a clue if it's my month or not. DC1 I was sure I was pregnant, DC2 I was sure I wasn't, the MMC I had no idea. So really it's pot luck 🤣

I have period cramps so pretty sure I'm out. I haven't had cramps this early in any previous pregnancies so definitely period on the way! But I'm hanging around to see if anyone else gets lucky 😊

Tested today at 13dpo and was negative. I’ll wait to see if my period arrives tomorrow

stupidly caved and tested today 9DPO and was negative.. can’t help but feel disappointed and really wish I didn’t test now! 😣

Try not to be disappointed it is so early. At my earliest I got a faint positive at 10dpo so you’ve got time.
