Maybe a nice shiny new thread will get us all enthusiastic again. I am on my rubbish diet so I only have nuts and beans to put out on the table. Oh and gin of course ;o) Anyone got any cakes to tempt me with?

Ding ding....let's...go

Do you think I have gone a bit mad

ScaryHairy · 03/07/2008 19:23

Beanie, could it be that you are pregnant but that it is too soon after implantation for you to get a positive? I think so.
I have my fingers crossed for you!

beaniesteve · 03/07/2008 19:25

could it be? I think I am 11dpo. I wish but 3 negatives?

ScaryHairy · 03/07/2008 19:32

But look, implantation happens on average on days 7-9 (post ov) but can happen later and then it often takes a couple of days for HCG to get high enough for a BFP. You have a 9 day luteal phase (?), so if you are late, what if it implanted on day 9 but your hormones are still undetectable?
Alternatively how sure are you about when you ovulated? Have you changed anything else (e.g. have you started talking B6 to lengthen your luteal phase?)

Bucky2008 · 03/07/2008 23:05

Well Beanie knows how to make us feel wanted , just dropping in to make AF turn up? I'm kidding, I'm kidding...hope she has gone AWOL Beanie your due a BFP for sure...

Hey JB and MOB good to see you.

Scary Good sandal shopping girly. I think I may have tried those on...I haven't got any new sandals. I may chance getting some when I get there...I can't find anything as good as the ones I had, and there is not enough time to get some more as they were posted. Molly Dog eh...if i didn't love her to peices....

Waves to everyone else.

I'm off on hols tomorrow morning so I will say goodbye now. Hope you all have a good week. xx

Just reread my post, that should be "taking" B6...

Have a lovely holiday Bucky.

PicknMix · 03/07/2008 23:49

Just sat waiting for kettle to boil so I can make me a hot water bottle cos af arrived today, on day of anniversary so no going on in the PnM tent tonight so thought I'd say hi to you guys!

Hope you have a fab holiday bucky and the doggies enjoy theirs!

Hi to sh, gg, mob, caitni, beanie (any sign of af?), ei and all our pregnant ladies! Apologies to anyone missed - on mobile & bad signal so doing a bit of speed writing!

Am off horse trekking tomorrow, then have a 10mile hike planned for saturday . Will be exhausted and will need another holiday after this!!

Love you all!

PnM x

beaniesteve · 04/07/2008 08:32

Still nothing!

ScaryHAiry I have been taking B6 and B complex all along but I was taking the odd extra pill this month, though from Wed to Mon last week I took none at all.

Anyway - still not here and I haven't bothered to test. Can't be arsed.

Madoldbird · 04/07/2008 09:16

Hi all

PnM so sorry to hear AF arrived . We are now cycle buddies as it was CD1 for me yesterday as well Lets hope we can bring each other some luck!! Have a lovely day today - sounds great fun if exhausting

Caitni for you too. Hope you enjoy the hen weekend, and make the most of a few guilt free drinks.

SH what a lovely chart I can't tell you not to obsess.. because i think we all obsess in one way or another. And of course you want to be pg after all you've been through recently. Just get that CD on, and i'm sending you lots of positive vibes for a lovely little correctly placed sticky bean.

GG LOL at your blue peter presenters meet up. I have you in my mind as a bit of a "valerie singleton" - much, much younger though

EI am pleased to hear that PALS are getting you sorted.

Beanie you sound very much in limbo at the moment. Hope you get an answer one way or the other very soon, and ideally i hope thats a BFP!

Bucky I have probably missed you, but hope you have wonderful hols. Enjoy & relax.

Haven't got DH's results yet. I am a bundle of nerves! They weren't in last night. The Dr said not just to ring in, but to make an appt to see him when they are in. Bit depressed to be back to CD2 now. Ah well, few more days, and i'll be looking out for ov signs. On we go

ScaryHairy · 04/07/2008 21:10

God, I know I posted here so where the feck did it go?MOB and PNM, sorry to hear the nasty old cow showed up, but how lucky you both are having such excellent cycle buddies.Beanie any news?Big, slightly drunken waves to the rest of you. I am 5dpo and continuing to obsess about cramping, ewcm and the rest. Had acupuncture this morning and had a little snooze which was just as well as the rest of the day has been frantic.Be back later - got to eat...

Madoldbird · 05/07/2008 14:25

SH Hope you are feeling chilled today after your acupuncture!

Ladies, i could really do with your help. AF arrived Thursday, as expected, fairly light flow until this morning. Big TMI warning for what follows... Took tampon out before getting in shower (it had only been in 2 hrs) it was full, and a massive clot fell out with it (about 5 - 6cm diameter). Blood absolutely everywhere. Slowed down a little now, but still clotty and bright red blood. Getting a lot of cramp, backache & headaches - i feel dreadful. Never had anything like this before. What could it be? My temp is still up as well - has stayed up in the LP range and hasn't fallen as normal. Am now worried there is something very wrong with my insides. Could it be an infection? Sorry for the graphic info, but i would really value your thoughts on this.

Hope everyone else is having a better weekend than i am!

ScaryHairy · 05/07/2008 20:46

MOB I have no idea what that could be, but I think you should see your GP on Monday, or if you are feeling crap before then go to the hospital.

The fact that your temps are still high but you are bleeding so much worries me.

Has it slowed down at all since you posted earlier?

QueenyEisGotTheBall · 05/07/2008 22:42

hi ladies
PnM and MOB sorry TEW got you both
MOB all i can think of is have you tested?? i know thats a silly question as AF has arrived for you but i lost clots with my CPs and had gushes of blood so maybe do a test to be sure. im sorry if i sound doom and gloom but thats how it sounds to me hun sorry let us know how you are xx
hi to everyone else
nothing to report from me apart from i have realised my AF is due on thursday and we go camping for the weekend on thursday morning to gloucestershire. (we go to RAF fairford every year for the air tattoo) i have decided not to test until a full week after i am due if AF doesnt arrive so it will be 17th july i think lol i want to avoid the BFP and then CP scenario as much as i possibly can. the only thing is is the camping weekend usually is a quite boozy affair (last year i polished off a 2litre bottle of malibu in 4 days) so i would need to know in order to avoid the alcoholic beverages ( my mil is coming and would be very suspicious if i didnt drink) should i test and (depending on the result)drink or should i not test and just avoid being a p**shead for the weekend? its a tough decision!!
xx ei xx

ScaryHairy · 05/07/2008 22:49

Yes MOB, like Ei says, please test. I don't want to frighten you, but I had "my period" and temps stayed high and it was an ectopic.

Ei, I know before I said not to test for ages, but given that scenario I think I would. Iirc someone who used to be on this thread had 2 CPs in a row and then a sticky bean. If MCs are as common as they say I can see how that could happen and it just be one of those things.

ps, I was in Boots today and noticed they have 2 for 1 on FR HPTs. Bargain!

QueenyEisGotTheBall · 05/07/2008 22:55

hi scary ye it was 07mumstheword who had the 2 CPs and then a sticky one i think i have my fingers crossed that will happen to me
how are things with you then?
xx ei xx

ScaryHairy · 05/07/2008 23:02

Ah, ok thanks. Imagining every symptom known to man and bulk buying FR HPTs, but otherwise on a vaguely even keel....

Madoldbird · 06/07/2008 08:48

Thanks EI & SH for your responses yesterday. It means a lot just to know you are there. I really did feel quite scared. Well, the bleeding has now disappeared. Virtually nothing at all this morning. I slept for 10 straight hours last night and now feel a lot better. Temp is still up this morning though, 36.51, which i know is not really high, but is what i expect to see post ov. Normally at this stage it would be between 36.3 - 4. I did do a HPT in the afternoon, BFN. It was a tesco own, and i did it 2 hrs after last wee, so i'm not sure how accurate it would be. If it was a CP would there still be hCG around in the blood after 3 days of bleeding? Hopefully it was just a strange blip in my cycle, and things will get back to normal. DH said maybe i've had a really good clear-out in there, and therefore we may be lucky this month!!! Charming!

EI I see the dilemma you have with testing / not testing. I think i would agree with SH here - and suggest you do a test. If it is a BFN, then you can go away and enjoy your weekend, and not have the "am I, aren't I" dilemma in the back of your mind, as well as being able to enjoy a good few drinks. If you are pg, then you know to avoid the alcohol, and at the same time if, God forbid, it is another CP you have that info to give a Dr (when you find a nice one who will listen) and it may hasten a referral.

SH I have an image of you with a drawer full of HPTs! You must be a good few days past ov now. So come on, you have to share all the symptoms with us - real or imagined! I can understand that this 2ww must be wrrying for you, and must seem neverending, but hopefully we can get you all through it.XX

loustillwantsaBFPtoo · 06/07/2008 17:54

hello, dont know how far i caught up, but no TTC for me this month as having a... hang on.. Hystero-Salpingogram next fri to check my fallopian tubes etc.
Still i shall be back on the 2ww next month, and will hopefully know what is happening with my stupid body!

Good luck for this month everyone!
sending sticky baby dust to all...

love lou xxx

ScaryHairy · 06/07/2008 20:12

Hi Lou good luck with the HSG. Our very own GG had one of those a couple of months ago and was a bit shakey afterwards but ok. Hopefully you will also find out you have perfect pristine tubes.

Hope you're ok today MOB. Has your temp dropped yet?

Waves to everyone else. How are you all doing? PnM are you back from luxury camping yet? I hope you stayed dry.

6 dpo here and I am an idiot - have ALREADY peed on a stick (moron). Symptoms are copious cm, bad temper, tiredness and cramps. I'm listening to the hypno whoozit CD to try to stop me getting all het up!!

Be back later.

Madoldbird · 07/07/2008 07:05

Hi Lou good luck with the HSG - do let us know how it goes.

SH Tut tut, POAS already!! (Ha ha, like i haven't done that as well before ) Now, go relax like butter melting in the sun... or whatever that CD tells you to do!

I had some more heavy bleeding and cramping last night, but has stopped again today, so far. Worse thing has been the really awful headaches, which i don't normally get at all. Temp is back down this morning (36.27) so hopefully this little blip is passing now. I guess it could well have been a CP, but am also worried that it means my hormones are up the creek

Have a good day everyone.

GorgonsGin · 07/07/2008 12:57

hello all, sorry for the radio silence. I have been internet-less at home and away (again !) for a few days!

Lou - I had an HSG back in June. It was a fairly quick procedure and a little uncomfortable/not very dignified. I had a lot of pain right at the end for a short time which made me shaky (I am a regular "pass out-er" ), but I think that was because they used far too much of the dye/solution for me and once it dissapated I was fine. I am sure Friday will be absolutely fine for you. It's really not that bad and if you have blocked tubes, it can even help clear small blockages. I got a clean bill of health for my tubes, so it was worth doing, despite the discomfort. IT's the not TTC for a month that wound me up the most

MOB - I agree with Scary and Ei. Clots are unusual when you don't get them regularly and maybe they are significant. i wouldn't ignore them and go to see your GP. especially if you have headaches too. LOL at your DH saying that you have had a good clear out . It sounds like the "meant to be soothing, but not really managing it" thing my DH would say. Oh, and as for me being Valerie Singleton, I saw myself more as Goldie .

Bucky - if you are reading this on holiday, YOU ARE NOT RELAXING enough! Hope you are having a lovely time.

Ei - another camping maestro in our midst! I think i'm the only 2WW-er who is not holidaying under canvas this summer . Have a lovely time at the air show.

scary - i bought that hypno CD you recommended . I haven't had a chance to listen to it yet, but I will tonight (when DH is out). I can't believe you are POAS already, missy 6DPO! I am CD19 today so it's a few days to go for me and I am not sure when I ov-ed this month. I have been trying not to keep track, it's very difficult to remember not to do things though when you've been obsessing for the last 19 months . I'll have enough counting days in the months ahead with IVF, but I will still symptom spot on the 2WW as usual.

caitni - sounds like a 2WW meet up at Exmouth Market could be on the cards - Bucky works fairly locally to there and Scary and I aren't far at all. Digital Girl may also be around then, if any 2WW-ers remember her. We can then plot our escape to the coast to see MOB and PnM. I was going to suggest meeting around 21/22/23 July after work one evening, if that suits people (for an apple martini if there are any going [yum emoticon])

hello to everyone else on the thread and all you lurkers out there. (And to jolly mibbes Digital* and other PG ladies if you pop in to the 2WW). Right, must dash and do some work today. happy Mondays everyone.

ScaryHairy · 07/07/2008 13:49

I know, I know. I'm hanging my head in shame this end (or would be if I hadn't bulk bought First Response tests over the weekend ). I just wish I could relaaaaax about all of this. I have a sore left boob and sharp twinges in my lower abdomen. They're on the right hand side which is making me nervous since it's my ep side, but in general I am just obsessing once more. Everything is a symptom, from belching to sore baps to twinges to my general bad temper. Arg. And no amount of pretending to melt is going to stop this! I bet I can't stop myself from POAS again tomorrow morning, but at least by then I will be 8 dpo which is better than 6 !

I hope you enjoy the CD GG but don?t blame me if you are too busy laughing to lie still. I never said it wasn't funny?.

I'm glad things are settling down MOB and that your temp has come down. Even if you're not going to the GP this time I think you should keep a note of what has happened. That way if anything funny goes on in future cycles and you do decide to see the doctor you will not forget to tll them about this time.

Right, back to work! Hope everyone's ok and that our happy campers did not get too wet.

(ps- can do a drink after work on 21/22/23 July too)

GorgonsGin · 07/07/2008 13:55

SH I have to listen to the CD when DH is out because I will prob laugh my socks off. hey, I'm up for anything that might aid a BFP . If "general bad temper" is a symptom, then I'm def up the duff this month

Any more for 21/22/23 July at Exmouth Market? All welcome for the 2WW meet up. I am likely to be CD5-ish, so will probably force myself to have a glass of wine at a safe-ish time of the month

ScaryHairy · 07/07/2008 14:59

Ooooh - I just had a teeny tiny bit of spotting!

God, I really really wish I could just calm down...

(Am really hoping that by 21/22/23 July I am firmly stuck on the apple juice!)

Bucky2008 · 07/07/2008 16:29

OK I am writing this on a bl**dy French keyboard and all the letters are in the wrong place so i will make this quick.

MOB sorry you have had a scary few days (hugs) I can't do any emoticons as don't know how to do bracket things on here!

I am up for Ex Mkt drinks will be recovered from my Lap and Dye trauma hopefully.

Am tired now of typing on here now....Je suis très desolè (sp?) mais ça keyboard est le chien poop.

au revoir mes amies

Caitni · 07/07/2008 16:38

Hello everyone,

sorry for the silence - I got back from Dublin last night and then stayed up til all hours watching the match (which DH had recorded for me). Was worth it (go Rafa!) but am comedy tired now...

SH oooh could it be implantation spotting! Am crossing everything for you to have a sticky bean...keep posting your symptoms xx

MOB god, it sounds like you had a terrible time. Glad that things are becoming more normal but it may be worth talking to NHS Direct (or your GP if you can get them on the phone) about this. Sounds like more than just a blip to me...

Ei I'm with the others - I think a test if no AF by Thurs so you can make sure you enjoy yourself. And am hoping that MTW's baby dust rubs off on you this month

GG those dates are perfect - Dollar Grills and Martinis should surely have apple martinis.

to all else. I really must stop my interwebbing and get some work done!
Cxx
