TTC after chemical pregnancy

I had a MC this Jan , 6 weeks and 1 day. Then I had a CP last Tuesday, 4 weeks and 6 days. I finally stopped bleeding today. Two pregnancies and two MCs so far.

I would like to know what your ttc experiences were like after CP. I admit I felt so lost when I saw the line getting fainter and I have been feeling very low and anxious for the last 7 days. However it is not healthy and it is time to be positive! So, I will be trying again this month. That is why I decided to start this thread.

Would help if I attached the graph, I guess!

Green is last time. Purple this time.

Thank you for sharing the graph. Currently I am also trying to see if everyone has a BBT dip between 6 dpo and 10 dpo. A huge one or a small one or nothing... 😊Yours is definitely useful!

To be honest, since my 1st MC, I've started to have the strong-ish urge to cry whenever I am close to the end of 2WW of each cycle. It has always been there. It comes and goes. I cannot get rid of it. At the moment, the urge is still not strong enough for me to release. The most it can do is to make me have a few tears in my eyes and that is it. I know exactly when it is going to happen for real. It will be the day when I get my next BFP.

Keeping everything crossed for you and may the progress successfully continue

CD26 of the 3rd cycle post CP, 9 dpo
I know that Mira is only used for ovulation however nothing stops me from comparing the previous cycle (BFN) with the current one! 😆
So I used FMU this morning. I can tell my E3G is slowing dropping and all the data is telling me that AF is coming this Sunday.
Well, at least this is the first NORMAL cycle post CP! That is something to celebrate!
Fingers and toes crossed for the next NORMAL cycle post CP!😀

I'm really pleased you've had a normal cycle, @LucyCL. I hope the next one brings your BFP (if this one doesn't!)

I know what you mean about feeling a bit... numb? I have the same feeling. I was sure it'd release when we next conceived but so far, I've felt quite guarded and numb still. I think I've just started to believe that it may happen today.

Much darker test today and BBT rose again, so I think if I get past tomorrow, I'll be a bit calmer. EPU have offered me a scan at 8 weeks for reassurance. I'll take a ClearBlue digital on Tuesday when I should be 5 weeks and then try and believe in it, and my body.

I don't want to risk causing any offence by continuing to post here, so I'll bow out, but I'm checking in on you all and I've got my fingers really crossed.

I am definitely happy to see you leave this not so good girl's club for sure!😁 Thank you again for sharing your data with me in the past two months and I really appreciate it! I wish you have an uneventful pregnancy! Yes, please check in on us whenever you feel like and give us an update on your pregnancy journey!

Strangely I have been really teary during this 2WW. I am a big cry baby who is super sentimental and sometimes gets emotional for small things. But I have never been like this. The extra vitamin supplements I am taking shouldn't be the cause because I also took them the cycle post CP and was not that teary!
Is it because my hormone levels are returning to the pre MC levels after a few cycles of not being normal and that is why I noticed the difference? Maybe this is also a reassuring sign of a normal cycle for me?

Here is what I found, something which I can relate to in a way. Not a very positive thought for today. I apologize if this makes anyone who is reading this thread in the future sad.

"Same here... the hopefullness of well-timed O bd'ing is slowly but surely replaced with guarded anticipation and eventual Dread over the disappointment that is most likely just around the corner.

Thats why i cant relate to people that get all giddy with excitement over their 2ww symptoms. Sure, i know some day the very convincing progesterone symptoms will actually be the REAL thing, but being as that it is impossible to discern the difference, its hard to be hopeful."

I have been very teary during this 2WW, this has definitely dampened my mood. It is good to let our negative feelings completely out then face the new exciting potentials in the future. I cannot just be always happy because I am a human too and I also feel sad sometimes. Today is fine to be sad because I know that tomorrow I will feel better and be ready for potentials. Also NEVER LOOK BACK!

Sending you love and strength. Absolutely okay to be teary and to feel sad (especially given you are so level headed and reasonable 99% of the time, you are SO strong) Always checking in to see how you are ❤️ xxx

Ahhh so happy for you. Many congratulations. Don’t be scared. Accept that your body has done a really positive thing and try to enjoy the experience. I absolutely get why you feel scared and I will be the same next time, but…

I know I have said that to some of us who got BFPs previously and it is really easier said than done. After DH saw them, he refused to get excited. Then I immediately threw all of them away and it is almost like I am refusing to believe this is true. Also I am still feeling bad because it is supposed to be a good thing to celebrate whereas I just worry about what if this happens again and it would take two months for my cycle to get back to normal again.
I have even noted down the dates I would start to bleed based on 2 MCs. 17/8/24 and 27/8/24. I will continue my life as usual and try to do non pregnancy related things.

Thank you for your kind words and I truly wish you will get a rainbow BFP! Please keep us updated!

Fabulous news @LucyCL it is so so hard having a pregnancy following MC with the nerves and anxiety but just try and think of this as a total new experience. So happy for all of you with recent BFPs and wishing everyone happy and healthy pregnancies ❤️

CJ2021 · 09/08/2024 16:43

@LucyCL I had a feeling this might be coming! Excellent news, I’m so pleased for you. Totally get why you are feeling a bit funny about it, I’m very much riding the anxiety rollercoaster!!! Hear if you need to share xx

LucyCL · 09/08/2024 18:18

@CJ2021 @Joleyjojo @Carportforme @Northernsoul90 Thank you so much for the support!❤ I can already feel my anxiety has increased a lot and my heart is beating fast because I have been looking at it as the potential third failed attempt. I will stop doing it and limit the frequency of testing. Take it day by day and have no expectations. Be cautiously hopeful. I am so glad to have you in the support group.

I am feeling better and more relaxed. How have you been? Have you booked your midwife appointment and first scan ? I am planning to wait until 6 weeks and 4 days. I don’t want to repeat the same mistakes again.🤔
