TTC after chemical pregnancy

I had a MC this Jan , 6 weeks and 1 day. Then I had a CP last Tuesday, 4 weeks and 6 days. I finally stopped bleeding today. Two pregnancies and two MCs so far.

I would like to know what your ttc experiences were like after CP. I admit I felt so lost when I saw the line getting fainter and I have been feeling very low and anxious for the last 7 days. However it is not healthy and it is time to be positive! So, I will be trying again this month. That is why I decided to start this thread.

Can I have some chart temp advice please. I am sure I ovulated around CD25 as I had positive LH tests which have always worked. I then had 2 rises one duo and another rise. Checking on previous charts it’s the highest temp I have had after ovulation. It hasn’t confirmed ovulation, do you think I have ovulated? Negative LH since the positive. I know it’s 3 temp increases but it’s so high and im not ill. I am 3weeks 6 days since miscarriage not sure if that makes a difference. Thank you xxx

I believe this is your first cycle to use OvuSense? I do think that you ovulated on CD25 because of the 3 temp increase. Soon OvuSense will confirm that you have ovulated. It confirmed it when I was 4/5 dpo.

I remember I had 9-10 days of flashing before I got the static smile. I believe you will get it very soon. I found drinking grapefruit juice useful to raise the estrogen level (high level of estrogen equals flashing and when estrogen is high enough, it will become a static smile). The first two cycles after CP were really unpredictable for me as well. Then the third and the 4th one were more normal-ish.

Edited

Hi LucyCL I firstly want to wish you the very best for your upcoming scan and NIPT on Saturday.
I am still flashing! Day 10 today! Had EWCM and cramps yesterday though, which was a bit weird. My LH cheapl strips are getting darker though. I'm also on cycle day 18, which is a bit later than I normally ovulate but I know things do change a bit.
My biggest fear is another pregnancy with a loss. I have quite a few allergies and am thinking there may be a relationship there somewhere. Recently been reading a lot about histimine intolerance! I may end up having to go private for tests which I realky cant afford to do so I might just have to give it one more go with the aspirin and prey x

Carportforme · 28/09/2024 20:56

LucyCL, hope your scan went well today. I finally got my static yesterday and massive leap in temperature this morning so will just have to wait now.x

Northernsoul90 · 29/09/2024 10:27

I hope you scan went well @LucyCL

Have any ladies on here experience of taking myo inositol? I have started taking the Zita West Vitafem and the inositol and folate powder but I don't have a diagnosis of PCOS. I have read differing things about inositol and some women reporting that it actually messed their cycle up if they didn't have PCOS rather than regulate it and promote ovulation which is what I was hoping for. Now I'm not sure whether to continue taking it or not... any thoughts?

LucyCL · 29/09/2024 14:09

@Carportforme My scan did go well and I am also glad that your BBT went up! I am crossing my fingers for you. I took aspirin and I don't know if it helped me but at the end something good happened. I hope it will work for you! x Pregnancy after loss is really scary and I was afraid to see no heartbeats yesterday. So I think all of us here are very brave to try to embrace pregnancy after losses! We are superwomen.

@Northernsoul90 You asked the right person! I got BFPs for both cycles I took myo inositol and I don't have PCOS. I truly believe it promoted ovulation. I took Zita West Vitafem and the inositol and folate powder every day and I ovulated earlier. I hope it works for you!

Thought of the day
So I am in one of the support groups and there have already been some women who ended up in losses. Every time when I read something like this, it makes me wonder if it could happen to me too. Although I still don't want to read or see any pregnancy related things, a part of me is still worrying about not seeing heartbeats. It happened to me before every scan. I do think of women who suffered losses and are trying to conceive as super strong human beings. I wish I could be like them one day, strong and brave.

@LucyCL glad your scan went well. I might have missed it but are you expecting twins? You keep mentioning heartbeats plural.

Thanks LucyCL and so glad your scan went well, excellent news:).
Weirdly my temperature has dropped again from the high yesterday, although still above baseline so I am thinking maybe I am just colder today, time will tell x

Oh, this is a singleton pregnancy. (pregnancy brain makes me feel weaker mentally?) At the moment I am just barely managing to cope with the changes and symptoms. Cannot imagine what would happen to me if I was expecting twins. I hope you are coping well. x

It is fine as long as it is above baseline. BBT does fluctuates. I hope this 2WW goes smoothly for you! x

Ah that makes sense. I have a very bad cold/cough at the minute. So it’s making it challenging. I have just contacted my gp because it’s been 8 days and my cough is very bad now. I don’t think they can do anything though if it’s viral.

How long do you have to wait for your nipt results? Glad to hear it’s all going well.

I am sorry to hear that. How are you feeling now? Has your GP prescribed any medication? Today I just received the NIPT and the gender results. Everything is at low risk and they are actually a girl. I hope this will be a viable full term pregnancy. I have heard about MMCs before so I am just hoping.

Yes, I went to the doctors and they think it’s a chest infection so I have been on antibiotics for the last five days. I’m finally starting to feel better.

Ah that’s great news. Do you have your 12 week scan coming up soon?

I am very happy to hear that you are feeling better. I will have the 12 week scan next Monday. Now I know a bit more about them, I think I might get more anxious before the scan.

Carportforme · 05/10/2024 19:16

@LucyCL Best wishes for your scan on Monday.

I am now 8 dpo. Woke up to some mild cramping this morning. I'd like to think that's hopeful but I doubt it 🤣. It was a bit early for me though. I usually start to cramp at about 10 dpo and often I get seriously bad ones on that day and then the odd moderate ones all the way to AF, which will be due next Saturday. I know that prostaglandins are often responsible for uterine cramping ag this time in the cycle but, as you know, I am on low dose aspirin and that inhibits prostaglandins so I guess it's more likely to be hormone fluctuations.
Temperature still rising slowly. I expect that to start dropping off on Thursday unless luck is on my side for a change.
Hope you are feeling better than you were and again good luck for the scan x

Northernsoul90 · 09/10/2024 11:10

Hi all I have been doing OPKs for the first time this cycle, when previously TTC I used the clear blue digital ones. Does this look like a peak? I am on CD16 I usually ovulate CD19/20 but have been taking the Zita west inositol this cycle...I don't know if that would make any difference so soon.

I hope your scan went well @LucyCL xx

Hi Northernsoul99, to me that looks positive. Good luck.. Ditto re Lucy CL x

LucyCL · 10/10/2024 10:33

@Carportforme I remember I had cramps during the last 2ww and what is interesting is I usually didn't feel anything during 2WWs in the past. I believe you are now on 13 dpo? You and Northernsoul90 have always been on my mind. x

@Northernsoul90 I don't think it is a positive. The control line is the right one so it is darker in your picture. However it looks like you are getting closer to the O day. Also please download Premom app because it can tell you the T/C ratio. Here is the screenshot. When the T/C ratio is higher than 1, it means the O day will happen very soon! I hope it helps! x

Thank you both for your kind words and the scan went well.

I’m not great at keeping track on these forums. I have so little free time it seems to me

Carportforme · 10/10/2024 19:19

So I caved ladies, not 100 percent certain whether I am 12 or 13 dpo so I am thinking rather faint. Pretty sure I see something in both though. The first one is FRER And the second one is a cheapie. To be honest I don’t actually rate FRER much, but… Let me know what you think ladies. Feel free to be brutal…
