TTC after chemical pregnancy

I had a MC this Jan , 6 weeks and 1 day. Then I had a CP last Tuesday, 4 weeks and 6 days. I finally stopped bleeding today. Two pregnancies and two MCs so far.

I would like to know what your ttc experiences were like after CP. I admit I felt so lost when I saw the line getting fainter and I have been feeling very low and anxious for the last 7 days. However it is not healthy and it is time to be positive! So, I will be trying again this month. That is why I decided to start this thread.

Good to know the implantation dip is a bit of a distraction!

And I'm pleased that so much data has led you to a conclusion you're happy with around vitamins. You've done so many tests!

I'm CD2 today, on a much heavier and more uncomfortable cycle than is normal for me. Fun.

I'm CD2 today, on a much heavier and more uncomfortable cycle than is normal for me. Fun.

My first real period after the post 1st MC cycle was also really heavy and I bled for 6- 7 days. However I bled for 5 days this cycle which made me quite surprised because I also expected to have heavy bleeding.
If I have get AF this weekend, I will know what to do for the third cycle after CP (I expect it to be a more normal cycle😆, like the ones before my 1st MC).
I will just do one test between CD 1- 3 just to check if female hormone levels are within normal range. Then as long as I take the correct vitamins at different stages of the cycle, I shall be fine as there is no need to do a 7dpo progesterone test. I am 100% certain that I ovulate every cycle!
Of course, no more maca root for me. 😅
I always find starting a new cycle exciting because anything can happen! Also I could start experimenting preseed and soft disc! 😂
So, I feel really positive for you!

Here is something which you might find funny/interesting: How quickly do vitamin tablets take affect in our blood?😅

I took B6, C, E, Zinc and Magnesium around 5 p.m yesterday afternoon and around 8 a.m this morning.

Mira chart - FMU
This morning
e3g: 48.3
pdg:2.4
LH: 2.8

This afternoon - mid afternoon urine
e3g:73.2
pdg: 6.2
LH: 4.9

Both urine were more or less equally concentrated. 4+hours.

I know female hormone levels fluctuate during the day. However I was wondering how quickly the extra vitamins I took could increase my pdg and e3g from yesterday afternoon.

So, by comparing the figures, I say it took less than a day for these extra vitamins to take effect in my blood.

CD19 (3dpo)

Seem to have a slight dip in BBT

Have been constantly nauseous since Friday alongside sore boobs and exhaustion… literally the same symptoms I’ve had this early on with both previous pregnancies but really trying to not get my hopes up / remain calm!

Fingers crossed for you! I am always amazed by people who can feel which one of their ovaries releases the egg and feel pregnant before their BFP or feel like AF is coming. I wish my body could tell me however sadly I don't feel anything during the cycle so I have no idea what my body is doing.
Which dpo did you start to feel pregnant before your last BFP?

I think 4dpo for my CP and 5dpo with my DS.. I had horrendous sickness for 20 weeks with the first so probably related, body must be sensitive? My best friend is the same she has two kids, and feels it immediately / bad sickness throughout 🤷🏼‍♀️

But still, I’m very aware symptoms could just be related to CP or hormones all over the place so trying to just see it as just that for now. I can deal with getting hopes up again after last month 💔

I still feel positive for you because your body is quick to know if it is pregnant. Yes, it could be hormone imbalance but some people do get pregnant really fast after their CP! Also you had sex every day which means you have maxed out the chance to get pregnant. You have done everything you could.

CD32 9 dpo
As expected, BBT went back up after the secondary estrogen surge.
My luteal phase usually lasts for 11/12 days so I only have to wait 2 or 3 days until I know the outcome.

This is NOT symptom spotting.
Before I woke up this morning, I had a vivid dream. It could be a rise in progesterone and a decrease in estrogen after the secondary estrogen surge.

I also felt overheated for 1 minute. I checked the temperature today and it is higher than yesterday so it could be why.

I expect to see BBT being elevated tomorrow morning as it will be 10 dpo. 😀

OP posts:

An interesting insight of the BBT rise (9dpo) after the dip (8dpo)!

Here is what I found:

"This is normal after the secondary estrogen surge that we get.

To summarize it there are 2 things that happen at once in the second half of the cycle.

If an embryo was made it is tumbling through the tubes until about 5 or 6DPO when it finds the uterus.

It in the meantime the body is mad dashing to push out hormones- estrogen in particular- around 4/5 and 7/8/9 dpo to thicken the uterine lining in preparation for that embryo if it was made.

So it is too early to know if you conceived, but if you did, your temperatures will shoot up, coordinating with embryo growth. If you did not conceive, your temperatures will go down coordinating with the drop off of progesterone, and AF will arrive.

This hormone push happens every cycle regardless of the outcome.

Implantation dips are a myth but it is just an overlap of time with that second estrogen push. It all overlaps to the 8/9 dpo zone.

Good luck 🤞

edit: This big dip is really good to see because it shows that your body is really trying to thicken that lining for an embryo and if it was made that's good. It's good to see for functionality at least. You will know very soon if you conceived or not."

Really interesting looking at everyone's data and charts, got my fingers crossed for you all!

I am what I thought was 6dpo today after loads of EWCM and ovulating on CD20 (this is also around when I usually ovulate but not confirmed with OPKs or BBT though as wasn't tracking) but then today I have randomly had more what looked like EWCM although a cloudier colour and a pinching pain on my left side which I do usually get with ovulation 🙈. I hope I haven't failed to ovulate the first time and my body's attempting again as we haven't DTD for almost a week. Who knows I think I will start OPKs again next month if this month is a negative.

Loads of EWCM means there is a rise in estrogen. Baby dust to you !

My oral BBT has increased this morning and here is the chart if some of you want to compare it to yours! 😎
It will be 10 dpo tomorrow and actually I don't know what t expect. 😂
I am happy with AF or a BFP. One way or another, the point is I can move forward. ❤
Baby dust to all!!! 💙Or happy next new exciting cycle!!!💜

@LucyCL Really pleased for you and your positive mindset going forward whatever that looks like next month 🥰 sending baby dust.

Ahh so it's not necessarily ovulation related? Hopefully I've not missed my chances this cycle then but we will see...I'm not sure how things will have worked out this time with it being first cycle after CP.

Thinking of you lots, and amazing you’ve got such a positive attitude! What day would AF be due for you? Have you thought about doing any early detection tests?

Going away this weekend so hoping that will keep my mind distracted for a few days! Although I am feeling calm about whatever happens this cycle (still feeling nauseous but a bit more energy today so who knows!)

I think you are going to have the secondary estrogen surge soon which is a BBT dip if you measure BBT daily. That is what happened to me on 8 dpo. Then BBT rose back up yesterday (9do). So, it is not related to ovulation. Our body does it every cycle.
No matter what the outcome is, I am always feeling positive for all of us here! Because I think of both outcomes (AF/BFP) as gains.
AF means it will give more time for our bodies to heal (and what kind of new things I am going to try this cycle)
BFP means "great, I am going to enjoy this pregnancy journey!!" 😄

Having no expectations makes me have a positive attitude!
Last cycle I still had some and it got me super anxious and I kept testing to see if I got a BFP or not. So from this cycle, I have told myself not to expect anything until AF arrives/BFP. This is what helps. 😆
My AF will be due this Sunday/Monday so I only have 2 days to find out! Not long now.
I did a First response test this morning and it was a negative. That is fair enough. Will do one tomorrow morning if my BBT is still elevated. If it drops, then I will know AF will be here soon.
Enjoy this weekend and life is too short! I am really happy that you are feeling calm because it is healthy and also very wise!!

CD33 10 dpo
My BBT has risen again this morning based on my oral BBT, wrist temperature and OvuSense. Progesterone is the heat inducing hormones so it also makes sense for pdg to increase. However instead there is a decrease in pdg based on Mira.
So, I don't know.

About the triphasic chart which I mentioned a few days ago, I believe you can see it in my oral BBT chart.
My baseline BBT: 36.4
After Ovulation: 36.9
The second BBT rise: above 37

You are likely to see it on the BFP BBT charts. HOWEVER I still think it is too early to tell as today is only 10 dpo for me. The only thing I am certain is that I don't have a short luteal phase 😄
Short luteal phase lasts less than 10 days.

I have 2 more days to wait. That is good enough for me!

I have been using Mira to confirm ovulation which was useful. However I should not use pdg to see if I conceive. I will keep that in mind.
Here is what I have found:
"Mira wasn’t designed to tell you if you conceived. Pdg is only for confirming ovulation. You would need to show more of your chart to help with ovulation confirmation since the rise to confirm depends on what your pre-fertile window baseline is. All Mira can do is help find your surge and help confirm ovulation."

To boost my estrogen and progesterone levels, currently I am using vitamin B6, C, E, Zinc, Magnesium and Beetroot Extract tablets. 💖
Will stop if AF arrives. Otherwise, will continue taking them if I get a BFP in 2 days.
I have been feeling quite excited since this morning because I only have to wait for 2 days to know the outcome.😊I can actually feel my heart is beating faster than usual.
Here is the RHR chart for this cycle. I can see my RHR has been increasing since CD1. I expect it to drop when AF arrives. Otherwise, RHR will remain high.

@LucyCL Thank you for the information, that's really interesting... the female body blows my mind 😂 I'm trying to take on your positive mindset and just try and let go of expectations. I'm one to symptom spot but I'm just trying to resist and not read too much into things otherwise I'll just get disheartened if AF arrives.

Just read about your supplements, do you take them as a multivitamin or separately? Has anyone on here tried Zita West? I didn't know whether to try their supplements but they are pricey so I'm unsure.
