TTC after chemical pregnancy

I had a MC this Jan , 6 weeks and 1 day. Then I had a CP last Tuesday, 4 weeks and 6 days. I finally stopped bleeding today. Two pregnancies and two MCs so far.

I would like to know what your ttc experiences were like after CP. I admit I felt so lost when I saw the line getting fainter and I have been feeling very low and anxious for the last 7 days. However it is not healthy and it is time to be positive! So, I will be trying again this month. That is why I decided to start this thread.

I don’t get a dip, I don’t think, so always LH strips first for me.

LH strips are definitely negative now. By LH strips I ovulated on Tuesday. BBT will end up saying Wednesday, I think, if tonight has a rise too.

The theory might be correct. RHR rises when BBT rises and vice versa.

Agreed! LH strips provide useful insight! Also, you did ovulate! That puts you in 2WW. How are you finding it so far? 😀

Does your RHR also go up with your BBT? Are they synchronising?

CD19 This is my afternoon LH level. This time I drank lots of liquid 4 hours ago.
I have a strange feeling that my LH level will keep rising tonight. So I will do another test tonight to confirm this.

@GreenPickle I compared the afternoon's dried up LH strip to the one when I got the peak from last cycle. It is lighter.
I also find it easier to tell if LH level is rising when the strips are dried up.

Maybe it is .5 then! Looks a lot darker but might just be the picture quality on mumsnet!

CD19 evening
So I was right. My LH level is increasing for real this time, finally.
I drank some water and didn't go to toilet for 3+ hours.
Maybe a LH surge tomorrow??? Who knows?😂

Useful insight: When you have a sharp rise in estrogen, your LH will start rising immediately as well.

CD20 the 9th day of High from CB fertility monitor 😂 I keep breaking record of getting more "High"s this cycle.
I used SMU to do the tests.
Will test this afternoon and tonight.

I don’t think I can see much of a link between RHR & BBT for me. I’m not confident in my BBT data this week, though. FF does think it went up again today so is predicting ovulation was Wednesday. I thought Tuesday, but LH was high on Weds too, just not peak.

So I’m now 3/4 DPO, depending on which you believe. I got a positive at 11DPO last month. That’s next Thursday. My period is due next Saturday.

Was yesterday’s peak the darkest one yet?

Yes, yesterday evening's one was the darkest so far. My estrogen is really taking its sweet time to trigger LH surge. However I am confident that ovulation is coming , if not this weekend then next Monday. 😂
Fingers crossed for you! Did you get any symptoms including implantation bleeding when you got a BFP last time?

Thought of the day:
When all hormone levels dropped suddenly on CD16 (25/6/24), I felt fatigue and nausea. I also had light spotting for the whole day.
This is actually a sign of hormone imbalance.
Here is what I have found:
The big shifts in hormone levels that come after a miscarriage can also result in diarrhea, nausea, or vomiting.

So, in the second cycle after CP, CP still affects me a bit.

It may also be the Maca powder 😩 I have seen it causes side effects for some women who have regular cycles! Doesn’t happen to everyone though 😊 probably not the cause but something to think about!

Maca powder is supposed to balance the hormones 😅

I SERIOUSLY DO NOT think I will get my peak soon. Shall I say my body’s second attempt to ovulate is a failure? I am beginning to treat it as a joke now. I predict that tomorrow morning I will get my 10th “high” from CB fertility monitor, yay! 😆

@LucyCL i’ve heard it go the other way in some people and they swear against it as it lengthens their periods which may be what’s happening…

LH looks fine! It’s not about the numbers… just positive or negative 😁 it may shoot up tomorrow!

Could Maca powder be the reason for my soon to be 10th "High"? 😂At this stage, I am starting to care less.

I’ve heard the same about maca powder, although I’ve got not personal experience.

I don’t think I had any symptoms last time. No implantation bleeding, no detectable dip. My temp was still high, and I’ve been testing at 10dpo anyway because I’m impatient 😅 It was negative at 10dpo but positive at 11.

My watch did alert me to a change in resting heart rate a week or so after the positive; but then it plummeted when I started to bleed. I didn’t notice it “live”.

@GreenPickle @YouveGotAFastCar To be honest, I have been taking Maca Capsules since my CP (the beginning of the post CP cycle) and then also have started to take maca powder since the beginning of the second cycle.
The post cycle CP: My LH level fluctuated a lot and I ovulated on CD22.
The second cycle: My hormone levels in general are gradually increasing and I didn't see a lot of fluctuations in all of them. However I had light spotting due to a sudden fall in all hormones, especially estrogen.

Some people said that it would take at least 3 cycles to balance the hormones and light spotting might happen. It might also delay ovulation.

This is the second cycle of taking maca. I am experiencing delayed ovulation and had light spotting. Is it because my hormones are still balancing themselves out? This is difficult to know.

Ah yes! I have read this. I started taking mine way earlier 😂 so I’m just going to carry on until I run out of tests / get peak. I do like the digital CB but it’s such an expense to upkeep especially because you can’t get refills!
