TTC after chemical pregnancy

I had a MC this Jan , 6 weeks and 1 day. Then I had a CP last Tuesday, 4 weeks and 6 days. I finally stopped bleeding today. Two pregnancies and two MCs so far.

I would like to know what your ttc experiences were like after CP. I admit I felt so lost when I saw the line getting fainter and I have been feeling very low and anxious for the last 7 days. However it is not healthy and it is time to be positive! So, I will be trying again this month. That is why I decided to start this thread.

I see. If RHR doesn't fluctuate that much, that means no BFP. If BFP, there is a jump (I can see it in your chart). If MC happens, there will be a sudden drop.
But today's RHR is almost as high as the one when you had BFP. It looks a bit confusing.

Ah thank you! Clearly my quick check today was shocking 😆 I’ll have a better look back when the evening chaos is over x

YouveGotAFastCar · 26/06/2024 19:01

That’s exciting, @LucyCL! Must remember to keep testing this month 🤞

LucyCL · 27/06/2024 08:48

CD18, the 7th day of High from CB fertility monitor 😂
Based on the charts, hence, my body's second attempt begins!
So, it is true that my cycle usually lasts for 32 days and the luteal phase lasts for 12 days. I feel like I know a bit about my cycle now. 😁

Ah exciting!

My cycles are shorter, 27 days. No sign of a second ovulation attempt here yet… my BBT went up a bit this morning so FF has flagged it as potential ovulation but I’m not confident in the data. Strips are definitely getting lighter.

I’ve had all my maternity referrals through today, my introduction to my midwife, booking in appts, app access etc. it’s a bit painful having to keep telling them I’m no longer pregnant.

ah yeah, the whole maternity stuff coming through the post was awful. I didn’t bother opening anyway and hubby just threw them away thank god.

Next time, will probably only refer myself after the 6 week mark to save myself the pain

@YouveGotAFastCar You could have ovulated based on the previous highest ratio. My LH levels fluctuated a lot during the post CP cycle.
@GreenPickle
I self referred for both pregnancies as soon as I got my BFPs.
For the the first time, I had to cancel two appointments online, one was for the off site midwifery and another one was for Fetal Medicine. I thought I cancelled both but 3 days later I received another text about the off site midwifery appointment. I had to call the hospital myself to cancel both. Having to cancel them triggered me a bit.

For the second time, I also had to cancel the off site midwifery over the phone.

Both times I received letters informing me about the appointments...

Also when I knew I was pregnant for the 1st time, I immediately requested a "baby on board" badge for London underground. It has been sitting in my drawer since March. I thought that I could finally wear it when I got the 2nd BFP. No, it didn't happen.

I’m sorry you’ve both been there too! I’ll definitely wait next time, too. Mine have been emails and texts so far but I’m sure there will be letters on the way. I’m hoping they’ve got a way to turn it all off together 😵‍💫

I’m hoping I ovulated on Tuesday, after the peak on Monday. Period is due next Saturday, so I’ll test Friday/Saturday probably, even though I told myself I wouldn’t test unless I missed a period 🫣

Looks like you will find out if you get a BFP before us! I really hope you will get a sticky one! It will give us hope! 💜

Haha! Don’t fall into the trap 😩 did this last month and just ran me around in circles… some days I did 5 tests 😂

have been strict with myself this month! Yours is getting gradually higher though! But please don’t dehydrate yourself for these tests… will not help TTC!

Thank you for the advice! Hahaha, I got excited! I probably should drink more water so I shall not dehydrate myself. 😁Will get back to testing normally!

Also something I read… hydration is super important for cervical mucus ☺️

CD18 The 4th LH test result
I did drink more liquid and went to the toilet 1 hour before taking the test so the urine sample was indeed more diluted. LH dropped as expected.
A negative is a negative after all.
So tomorrow I look forward to seeing my mira chart which can explain what is happening with my hormone levels. 😊

CD19
When it is close to ovulation, Mira can explain what is happening to our hormone levels. At this stage of the cycle, I am glad that I have Mira.
My e3g rose again this morning and Mira predicts that I will ovulate on CD22. The same exact ovulation day of the post CP cycle. I am not surprised. My cycle lasts between 32 - 35 days.

CD19
There is the second BBT dip and LH dropped slightly.
I wonder if this time is the true BBT dip before ovulation. 😂 Or is it because today is not as hot as the previous days?!
Anyway, ovulation is on track. I am pretty relaxed.

I know this question might sound silly however I am very curious! When you are close to ovulation, do you usually get a BBT dip or LH surge first?

@LucyCL hmm ok. First image - looks like you ovulated the day of peak?

next image - CD21?

final image - no idea. It’s so up and down with no distinct pattern but it does stay up after CD26

First image: CD20, 27/5/24. I had a BBT dip and LH peak at the same day
Second image: 18/4/24. I had LH peak but cannot tell if I had a BBT dip or not
Third image: 31/3/24. I had the peak. I had a BBT dip on 19/3/24.

In general, people ovulate the day after the peak.

Were any of these cycles where you got a BFP?

@LucyCL that's so interesting as they are the ones that are a bit ambiguous/less obvious with the fall then rise. Tbh at this point, im thinking not doing BBT as it's so confusing

Overall tracking BBT is a good because it will give you a general idea when you ovulate. You can rely on the sharp rise in BBT to confirm your O day. Of course, it is recommended to combine it with LH strips to track. 😊
