TTC after chemical pregnancy

I had a MC this Jan , 6 weeks and 1 day. Then I had a CP last Tuesday, 4 weeks and 6 days. I finally stopped bleeding today. Two pregnancies and two MCs so far.

I would like to know what your ttc experiences were like after CP. I admit I felt so lost when I saw the line getting fainter and I have been feeling very low and anxious for the last 7 days. However it is not healthy and it is time to be positive! So, I will be trying again this month. That is why I decided to start this thread.

I think mid-cycle bleeding can be hormonal? I've only ever had it once or twice.

My LH has decreased today, but BBT dropped slightly, so FF has removed it's "potential ovulation" marker. I'm not sure that it's too accurate - it often takes me a minute or so after I wake up to remember to take my phone off sleep mode - but I was feeling so confident!

Premom is recording this as a really long streak of highs for me, too. Usually I only get one high and one peak reading but I've had two days worth now, four tests. This morning is decreasing but still high.

What I wouldn't give to know what's happening 🙈 I'm struggling with being surrounded by pregnancy/baby stuff.

I see. It could be a sudden drop in estrogen? Thank you for telling me your experience about mid cycle bleeding! It makes me feel less worried.
Today is the 5th day of "High" from the CB fertility monitor. In the last cycle, the 5th day became a "Peak".
We might be experiencing something similar. In the past cycles before CP, my LH just kept increasing until the surge.
After what I have experienced with several failed attempts of ovulation last cycle, I feel like I have seen everything and I am pretty chilled because I know one way or another our bodies will ovulate soon. The post CP cycle makes me ready to face anything. 😂
Hopefully we will have our peaks soon this week! Keep testing and keep us updated!
I totally understand why you are struggling! That is why I try to avoid going out nowadays. On the day of CP, I saw pregnant women and that made me feel lost and maybe also heartbroken? I don't want to experience that again...

@LucyCL i think it was ovulation bleeding! hopefully it goes away today (not sure how it will affect sex!). Your e@h is looking fine - always going to be fluctuations. I reckon peak tomorrow!

keep an eye on it and just test again tomorrow - annoyingly nothing else you can do 😫

I will keep observing closely. The post CP cycle has prepared me to be ready for anything. 😅
I will keep BD'ing and not even ovulation bleeding can stop me.💪

An interesting observation of the day
If I am only looking at the trend, Temdrop, wrist temperature and RHR show a dip when I had a BBT dip whereas my oral BBT dropped this morning.
Maybe RHR does reflect a rise in BBT?? I wonder if RHR will rise sharply to reflect a sharp rise in BBT around O day.

Yeah sure, here’s some charts.

Premom seems to have removed all colours from last month after the CP, but I’ve put this month and the month before.

Any thoughts welcome!

Your LH peak of this cycle reminds me of the LH peak I got after my 1st MC. The T/C ratio was 0.97 for me and I ovulated. So, I say you might have already ovulated. Not sure about BBT as it could be affected by lots of things.

My LH level dropped again, perhaps my urine was more diluted than FMU? Who knows?
Still spotting.
At the moment, I am going to assume that I will get my LH surge by this Sunday.
Flo says 28/6/24, Mira says 29/6/24 and Premum used to say 30/6/24. As long as my BBT doesn't drop, everything is fine. 😁

Mine dropped too! I do think it’s a case of more diluted urine but also… a negative is a negative. The numbers don’t really mean too much!

your peak that was 0.97 when you had MC. That looks way stronger than that number btw, just all to do with lighting etc:

If I saw this drop in LH in the past cycle, I would be panicking a lot because I didn't know anything about LH level fluctuations and the lighting effect.
After everything we have been through after our CPs, I agree that the numbers don't mean too much and a negative is a negative. 😀I have my fingers crossed for us to get our peaks by this Sunday!

My fingers are crossed for your peaks on Sunday too!

Mine is definitely dropping today, so I think ovulation was supposed to be Tuesday with my peak on Monday, but my Apple watch is not reporting a temp rise. It has been a bit sketchy as yesterday I forgot to record it until I'd been awake for 20 minutes or so, and today for some reason it recorded the temp at 4.45am, but there we go. Maybe it was failed ovulation and it'll try again?

LucyCL · 26/06/2024 08:59

CD 17
No spotting any more!!
LH dropped again, not too low though.
Charts of oral BBT, Temdrop, wrist temperature and OvuSense
CB Fertility monitor still says High. The 6th day of High.

Insight: What is happening inside our body when our ovaries fail to ovulate?

Luckily Mira shows there is a sharp drop in E3G, PdG, FSH and LH. Also this hormone level change caused spotting.

At the same time, LH levels are decreasing as we can see from the LH strips.

In my case, during the post CP cycle, my body failed to ovulate twice then succeeded on the third attempt.

In the second cycle after CP, my body just failed to ovulate. So, I expect to see the second attempt very soon. Hopefully it will succeed. The Health app also thinks this week is my fertile window.

This morning I felt my vagina and cervix. It is soft and wet. I am definitely in the fertile window.

I think our bodies have experienced the same thing, failed to ovulate at the first attempt. However I do think our bodies will try to ovulate for the second time, based on my post CP cycle experience. I am very confident. 😀
I also hope you will truly ovulate soon!

So I haven't had the ovulation dip or bleeding. I think I had withdrawal bleeding when my hormone levels suddenly dropped based on my Mira chart.

Here is what I found:
Withdrawal bleeding, like a period, occurs when hormone levels drop. In both cases, the decrease in hormones causes the mucus and lining of the uterus to shed and exit through the vagina. Withdrawal bleeding is typically lighter and shorter than a period.

I'm a bit sad about the failed ovulation. It's dangerous and silly but mentally I really hoped I'd get a BFP this month the day before my birthday.

Here's my charts, just incase they're interesting to anyone.

I've highlighted my RHR when I got my BFP. The big dip is when I started bleeding. I've also put this months and last months FF...

@LucyCL Do you usually get an implantation dip? I've never noticed one. Although I'm very frustrated at my Apple Watch tracking BBT today so I'll be buying an Ovusense.

I think Apple Watch BBT is sketchy at best tbh! I wouldn’t take it at face value just because I’ve read so many things about it not being accurate

Thank you for the charts! They are all useful!
I only took oral BBT which fluctuated a lot so I can't tell if implantation dip occurred or not before both BFPs. I am sharing the oral BBT charts of both BFPs.
@GreenPickle Between CD1 and CD13, I was not convinced that RHR truly reflected my true BBT.
However this happened. OvuSense and RHR started to match from the day of the BBT dip and they have been consistent for 4 days now. It is a coincidence???

Now I am sitting on the fence. Will continue to monitor RHR and OvuSense to see if this consistency lasts.

Aren't RHR and BBT/Ovusense different things? I havent really read up much on RHR but wouldn't think it's a good tracking tool as so many things affect it day to day!

They are different things. In theory, RHR and BBT go up and down together. Yes, I will use OvuSense mainly because RHR proved to be unreliable previously. It will interesting to see if RHR goes up after ovulation with BBT, for science, of course. 😀

I’ve gone back through seven months of mine and can’t find any difference, other than when I was pregnant. It wasn’t an immediately noticeable increase but the decrease as I bled was (screenshot above).

I see. If RHR doesn't fluctuate that much, that means no BFP. If BFP, there is a jump (I can see it in your chart). If MC happens, there will be a sudden drop.
But today's RHR is almost as high as the one when you had BFP. It looks a bit confusing.

@LucyCL my digital CB opk lines (technically now meant to be read outside of the monitor).

top 4 are post CP cycle. The first thee were blank and the last was static (I imagine hcg was in my system)

the bottom 4 are this cycle - first two are blank and next 2 are flashing. The right line is ever so slightly lighter but left line is largely staying the same.

ignore the numbers as they mean zero in this instance but interesting to see!

For those who want to understand both lines: the left line is LH and the right line is oestrogen (so the oestrogen line gets lighter = high fertility // LH line gets darker = peak).

Thank you! That is super interesting and seeing two lines really gives you some details rather than Black circle/Flashing or static smile!
When Oestrogen rises, that means LH will also rise later.

It looks like my body is trying to ovulate at its second attempt. 😂
Let's see if it will succeed this time.
I look forward to tomorrow's tests!

@YouveGotAFastCar I think your body will try to ovulate again soon!
