TTC after chemical pregnancy

I had a MC this Jan , 6 weeks and 1 day. Then I had a CP last Tuesday, 4 weeks and 6 days. I finally stopped bleeding today. Two pregnancies and two MCs so far.

I would like to know what your ttc experiences were like after CP. I admit I felt so lost when I saw the line getting fainter and I have been feeling very low and anxious for the last 7 days. However it is not healthy and it is time to be positive! So, I will be trying again this month. That is why I decided to start this thread.

CD 11
Cannot tell much from the charts because I only started to use them from CD1 of this new cycle.

CD 11 I have been using BBT and premom since last April so I do know that my baseline BBT is around 36.4 degress.
Although my BBT dropped a bit, it is still above 36.7 which is 0.3 degrees higher than the baseline BBT.
My BBT usually jumps up to around 37 when it is close to ovulation. So, I can tell I am halfway to ovulation based on my observation.

My RHR keeps decreasing which doesn't match the gradual increase in BBT. The wrist temperature also does not tell me anything.
It is confusing...

@LucyCL you might be better off disregarding the Apple Watch data! I think you might have too many data points going on - LH, Mira, BBT, CB monitor, ovusense, tempdrop - and it’s confusing!

whilst I know you don’t want to, maybe drop down to only using 2-3 of these per cycle? Or if everything matches this cycle, pick your top ways of tracking and use that next cycle?

After using all devices for a while, I am inclined to choose OvuSense (Internal BBT), LH strips and CB monitor.
Temdrop (maybe?), BBT (oral), wrist temperature, RHR and Mira are not very convincing.

CD12
CB fertility monitor has detected a rise in estrogen which matches a rise in BBT (OvuSense). LH strips - I am not sure.

After trying out all devices for a short while, I am more inclined to use OvuSense, CB fertility monitor and LH strips. Temdrop and BBT (oral) are "maybe"s. The rest are not very convincing...

@LucyCL i think relying on too many things is confusing and stressful! I think try and stick to 3 - you know that BBT and LH work for you!

CB monitor is looking good too - equivalent of a flashing smiley I assume! So looks loke
you are entering your fertile window.

i think CB are really sensitive so they may be out by a day or two but hopefully you get your peak soon! I think I had 4 days of flashing first cycle before I hit peak! (But true peak wasn’t until a few days after because CB detects A surge rather than THE surge if that makes sense)

LucyCL · 21/06/2024 09:48

In the last cycle, when the CB ferity monitor detected a rise in estrogen on CD 17 and it showed "high" from CD17 until CD20 then it showed "peak" on CD21 and CD22 and "high" on CD23. CD21 was LH surge day and on CD22 I ovulated based on LH strips.

This cycle:
CD12(TODAY): a rise in estrogen
CD13: high (based on prediction)
CD14: high (based on prediction)
CD15: high (based on prediction)
CD16: Peak (based on prediction) LH surge? 25/6/24
CD 17: Peak (based on prediction) Ovulation day? 26/6/24
CD18: High (based on prediction)

I hope this will be accurate and consistent.

I think the CB fertility monitor and CB digital use the same mechanism. One shows "high" and another one shows a flashing smile. So, what you said makes sense!

@LucyCL seems accurate! I’ve read somewhere that the CB shows peak around 48 hours before ovulation and LB strips 24 hours before!

GreenPickle · 21/06/2024 11:33

My data points!

not sure my latest OPK is actually 0.25 though. I reckon more 0.20 but doesn’t matter the number as it’s negative

BBT shot up this morning (might be because my bedroom is roasting). Also not sure why I wake up so early! Just the excitement of taking my temp lol.

Will be taking CB digital from Monday (cd10) as it’s expensive and don’t want to waste!

So far so good! Based on your LH level progression, it looks like everything is on track. BBT might be a bit biased however it'd be interesting to see if it stays elevated or keeps increasing in the following days which in theory matches LH levels getting higher.

@LucyCL i also used this https://www.omnicalculator.com/health/bbt to see the difference and added it all into fertility friend (real times and temps are still in Premom though)

Thank you and will have a look ! 😀Natural Cycles is also an app recommended by people. Have you heard about it?

@GreenPickle yes I have! But I thought you needed their little gadget to use it! Atm I have 3 apps on the go and that’s enough for me 😂

Flo is my all rounder app because it has the easiest view. Will use it for marking symptoms, writing notes etc.

Premom is for both LH and BBT chart (and the only one that lets me take images. I wish Flo had this feature so bad!)

FF is so I can see BBT chart with adjusted timings (if that’s more accurate)

I see. Premom is good for both BBT chart and identifying LH levels however I don't like it deciding my O day based on a sudden rise in BBT and I cannot adjust it.
Flo is interesting because I can learn small bits about our body every day.
Then OvuSense is the third app I use.

@GreenPickle
April - the 2nd BFP
As you can see there are days with red hearts (the days of BD)
I ovulated on 19/4/24

@GreenPickle You can tell I tried to BD every day and this is what I am doing for this cycle. I have found nothing about the relationship between the sperm quality and the frequency of sex (Having sex every other day and having sex every day) as long as the male always has fresh sperm inside. Also it depends on the sperm count of an individual. Perhaps having sex every other day is better for men who have low sperm count.
My plan is to BD until 5 dpo to cover all my fertile window.

@LucyCL love this! Super insightful. You’ll need a big fat rest at the end of it

Last cycle trying to bd every day until the O day didn't get me a BFP. I also didn't BD the day after the O day. Maybe my body was still recovering so it didn't happen.
This time I am more prepared ... Combining the ttc experience of my both BFPs means BD every day until I am certain that my fertile window is finished. It takes 24 - 36 hours to release an egg after LH surge. : )

@GreenPickle OvuSense and Temdrop both show a drop in BBT whereas there is an increase in BBT with my thermometer so I think my BBT dropped today.

CD14 I had a huge BBT dip but my LH levels are increasing. CB fertility monitor still shows "High"
