TTC 2024 - New Year Babies

Hey!

Thought id start a new thread as anyone at the beginning of their cycle TTC now I guess will be looking at January due dates! Think AF will be here today or tomorrow for me so my due date would be 7th January…

i'm sure the whole Santa thing will be fine as most elder siblings still pretend for the younger ones. I know it's not the same but christmas will still be magical regardless of the age gaps.

Think we might have missed my peak and it could be happening today as I’ve got EWCM again? Thought I was ovulating yesterday and we DTD the day before (too tired yesterday from the toddler!), so I’m going to assume I’m out this month so I’m not be too disappointed when/if AF arrives.

Roll on the TWW which feels like a 2 month wait.

@Firsttimetrier this happened to me too this month! Got a peak on my OPK so roped DH into some BD. He got really anxious so he wasn't able to finish, bless him! So we just parked it for the month.
Then yesterday I got another, and higher, peak!! Luckily we BD yesterday for fun, and I've brought up the idea of doing it again today so hopefully we're still in for the month!
Sounds like you still have time and if you can, BD today and tomorrow??

Think I’m in for another long cycle. My OPK’s aren’t budging, maybe even getting slightly lighter if anything. I usually get a very strong peak when it’s O and doesn’t look like it will happen soon. So frustrating

Well we were going to give this month a miss but DH doesn't want to waste a month for the sake of planning a birthday and I guess he's right!! CD3 for me is anyone else similar?

Hello! Moving over from the April TTC thread. I am CD2 - this would be cycle 5 of TTC #1 aged 35... but we're going to take a break this month. This is because on the due date DH is due to be best man at a wedding in Aus. And the silver lining is if I don't get pregnant in the next 4 months - I can go too!

But I want to be here for the camaraderie, so I will keep checking in for moral support.

In the meantime DH has started taking Proceive, and I have started taking CoQ10 which I saw someone else mention on here. Genuinely I have never had as much energy and also my PMS symptoms were much less bad last cycle, so I wonder if that has had an effect.

Fingers crossed for the rest of you.

So this is a bit weird and may not mean anything, but I am 7DPO today, stopped breastfeeding DS1 over 7 months ago, and tonight noticed some milk leaking out of one boob 🥴 very strange.

Peak here today - about 3 days later than expected/ it has been for the last 4 months but I have got a chest infection so perhaps could have delayed it... managed to DTD today after a break since Tuesday having been too poorly. Hopefully still in with a chance this month!

Onto the TWW it is....

@Shinystar93 i actually have no idea (if I count from last af it’s CD45 ) 😬 it appears I have completely missed af this month but I have had some ovulation signs in the last few days. I’m not using opk currently but might in the next cycle. I’m usual fairly regular with a 31/32 day cycle 🤷‍♀️ x

@MaybeBaby2024 congratulations! I’m due to ovulate in 4 days or so fingers crossed, this is only my 3rd cycle trying for DC2. It’s more difficult DTD with a toddler in the house!

@PermanentlyTired03 I couldn't agree more 😂 3rd cycle for us, cycle 1 DC sleep was horrendous so didn't get a chance to do the deed 🫠 they must want to be an only child haha

@Daniki @SummerSun24 thank you! Had strong lines early on with DS1 too and had horrendous Hyperemesis. So maybe there’s a link there with high HCG 😅 not looking forward to going through that again!

@Daniki I’ve been taking Mucinex! I succumbed to the influence of tiktok and ordered some last month 🤣 No luck last month but i’m taking it again this cycle and currently 1DPO! I’m also using pre-seed and tried SMEP this cycle! xx
