Thought id start a new thread as anyone at the beginning of their cycle TTC now I guess will be looking at January due dates! Think AF will be here today or tomorrow for me so my due date would be 7th January…

So it's using cough medicine throughout your fertile window as it thins your cervical mucus! Mucinex is the brand name in America but the ingredient you need is called Guaifinesen (I think it's spelled) so I'm using benylin non drowsy!

Joining at 2dpo. Already counting down days till I can test. It's only cycle 1 so I'm probably naively optimistic. We shall see!

congratulations on your BFP that looks so strong for 8dpo 🤞🏼 sorry to hear you had hyperemesis, I also struggled with that with my boy who’s now 6months! Did you have it all the way through? Mine thankfully tailored off around 5 months xx

@Sav96 had it really bad from about 5/6 weeks until 16 weeks, and then just general queasiness and small appetite the rest of the pregnancy. When he was born I was 2 stone lighter than when I got pregnant!

@Daniki ahhhh interesting! Worth a go for sure. The app’s say I’m in my fertile window, but still haven’t had a positive opk so maybe still worth a go heads to boots. Thank you ☺️

@PermanentlyTired03 with you on how difficult it is with a toddler around! We missed DTD the day before my predicted ovulation and then the day of as we were just simply too exhausted. If this month isn’t successful, we will know to conserve energy for the most important days.

@Firsttimetrier @SummerSun24 its like they know you need some alone time so insist on sleeping in your bed/ keep getting up. Me and DH often wfh so I may need to schedule in a meeting to DTD 😆 not very romantic!

Couldn’t help myself, did another today. Just reassuring to see it getting darker.
Still getting ‘not pregnant’ on the digital though which is annoying.

Can I ask If you had any symptoms or just was ready to poas?

@Eatsleepbakerepeat i wasn’t planning to test until today but DP asked me to do one yesterday out of curiosity. Had really sore boobs, fatigue, bit of milk leaking from one side.

I’m going to start smep this month , currently on CD7 and I guess it’s worth a shot- I’m a nurse and work 2 nights a week so will see how I get on ! Fingers crossed for BFPS this month! What CD are you on x

Hello joining this month me and my partner have been trying since Jan 4/5 months.

Patience isn’t my strong suit!

I’ve just started Accupuncture which I’m enjoying as we just get to have a good chat about everything which is really nice. Then hopefully she pokes me in the right places.

I’m currently trying to track ovulation a bit more closely - taking temperature and tracking discharge, plus maybe opk. My Accupuncture person said body signs like discharge are just as important as the hormones.

We’re also trying conceive + lube and have both just started on proceive supplements.

I’m going to take a hertility test next cycle too. My sister said to me last year she took a year trying so I should get going and I obviously ignored that sage advice.

All my friends seem to either have really bad luck with lots of miscarriages or just get pregnant immediately….

anyone else feel like they’re doing everything with no luck?

how long have people been trying before they get tested?

9dpo today feeling suuuuuuper tired I’ve already had an hour and a half nap which isn’t like me at all, hoping that’s a sign 🤞🏼 original AF date is tomorrow but with ovulating later this month Flo app is predicting Saturday so will just wait and see. Too scared to do a test yet x

I’m so sick of my body! My OPK’s had been looking good to align with predicted ovulation today, but today’s is SO faint. Been testing twice a day so doubt I’ve missed my peak. My boobs have been tingling a bit today which usually happens leading up to O, but the OPK was barely visible. Granted it was morning and very diluted urine, but still.

So frustrating as I’ve tried really hard the last couple of months taking vitamins, exercising more and generally looking after myself better in the hope it would help.

Looks like either another long cycle, or maybe even no ovulation at all 😣

Feeling like giving up and calling it a day with TTC

I got back from my weekend away yesterday, 3 days into my peak fertility window on Premom and got a high reading. I’m not due to ovulate until Wednesday so wasn’t expecting to get that so early, which makes me wonder if I’ll ovulate earlier than Premom has predicted. That could knock us out for this month, as we haven’t been together to DTD for the past few days until yesterday.

I’m going for my first reflexology session tonight, will let you all know how it goes!
