TTC 2024 - New Year Babies

Hey!

Thought id start a new thread as anyone at the beginning of their cycle TTC now I guess will be looking at January due dates! Think AF will be here today or tomorrow for me so my due date would be 7th January…

@RRAEE I'm also 5/6 dpo! When are you planning on testing?
@SummerSun24 hello! Seems like you got it covered! My friend only dtd once on her peak (2 days before O day) and she's pregnant. It only takes one!

@Irish812 I'm going to wait till I'm late this time to avoid disappointment.

@RRAEE I should probably to the same as this is my 4th cycle, but I'll defo cave the weekend around 8/9dpo. Not sure on until 16th.

@Daniki im so sorry to hear that… i really am 😢 but it does look promising that the trigger shot is helping plus that appointment coming up so the future looks good!!

@Irish812 it's so hard not to lol hopefully i wont cave 😅 and same I'm on my 5/6th cycle now.

@RRAEE is this baby no.1 for you? I tried conceive plus lube the past 2 months so hoping that helps as since we've been activey trying I have no EWCM around O day... typical!

@Irish812 yes im still TTC no 1. Ive tried to relax this month and take a step back not getting so stressed about it all. We haven't been preventing for over a year now but have only been properly trying for 6 months so it's been a lot. All the BFNs are so hard to see.

I see a lot of people talking about the CP Lube so might try it next cycle if it doesn't happen this month.

@RRAEE yes we're the same only actively ttc 4 cycles now, but off the pill since last Sept. Me too, the negatives are hard each month. And feeling everyone else is getting pregnant around me.

@RRAEE I'd reccomed it definitely if you don't have massive amounts of EWCM. It makes for favourable conditions in their for sperm to last longer waiting for the egg I believe!!

@SummerSun24 i get a lot so i know thats not a problem but still willing to try anything to help at this point. Gunna add coq-10 as seen that recommended a lot 🙂

Hey ladies, cycle number 8 was fruitful.
Symptoms for me were sore nipples following ovulation then that dropped off around 8dpo but then the sore boobs began.
We tested last night and nothing at all.
Then tested today 11 dpo and very strong positive.
I've had the strangest tummy cramps today so strange to feel.
Here's hoping all goes well .

@Charlotteaanne wow that's a great turn of events for you congrats on your bfp!! Hoping all goes well! I'm 9dpo today and tested negative. Cycle #4 for us. Is this your first baby?

@Irish812 no prior pregnancies at all and never tried with anyone before.
Feel quite lucky it has just been 8 months though they were torturous.
Hoping for a really healthy pregnancy now, but I feel great.

@Irish812 all the things you shouldn't.
We went on holiday to unwind so plenty of cava, decent sunshine and 8h of tango dancing a day and romantic beach walks.

Last month my ovulation didn't peak and this month it went mega . Over 2.0 !
Knowing us we will be having quadruples 😂 I just had bloods done with Dr too to check if perimenopause so looking forwards to his results this week.

I want to breathe a sign of relief but still feel quite anxious about it all, but glad to see 3+ weeks!

Think I’ll book into an early scan for some reassurance around the 9 week mark, but don’t think I’ll be less anxious until I can feel some movements 🥲

Ah congratulations @Charlotteaanne and @Firsttimetrier - absolutely delighted for the pair of you. Wishing you happy and healthy pregnancies and 2025 babies! And your conception tips @Charlotteaanne sound like a winner (opens up lastminute . com!)

We took a break this month as a due date would clash with when DH would be best man at a wedding in Australia. And it's been SO nice not symptom spotting. AF due in the next couple of days, so we'll start again 💪

Could have been an element of Murphys law at play 🤣 plus I hyper ovulated.
Enjoy your month of relaxing but don't relax too much or babies might happen.

If we were lucky enough to conceive this time round due date would be a day after my birthday and DC1s birthday is 4 days before mine 😂 so it would be the party month indeed haha

Got my BFP here!

Clear results on 3 different pregnancy tests even though I've still got a week until my period is due.

Also terrible morning sickness and need to pee all the time which seems very early. With my first I didn't have any symptoms until around 10 weeks.

Congratulations 🥰 I also got my BFP on Tuesday, AF is officially late tomorrow. I’m testing daily as I like to see the line progression! Not sure when to stop 😂 x

@mamataylor Me too with the testing! I just ordered a big box of cheap tests on Amazon

I tested today , clear blue early - I feel like I can see a faint line but am I going mad ? 10 DPO and currently had no usual pre AF cramps or spotting that I usually would have by now ..
