TTC Active Letrozole Thread

Struggling to find an active Letrozole thread. Recently been prescribed Letrozole as I have low progesterone and signs of ovulation not being as effective as it could be, albeit I still ovulate on my own.

Would love to hear success stories or chat to people who are going through TTC with letrozole now x

Hi, how is everyone going?
Just started CD3 and tablets again last night.
Been feeling quite low lately and feeling like it's never going to happen for us. This will be our 6th round of letrozole but 2 cycles didn't work timing wise so really it's our 4th. Fingers crossed for us and everyone else!

CD 11 here, had some EWCM yest and due to trigger on Tuesday. Started DTD last night and will go every second night until around AF due 😝 aw it's hard not to feel that way @dancingfairy1 I'm a bit fed up now myself it's 2 years now since we started trying for no 2 🥲

Picked up Mucinex to try this cycle, I'm so curious to see how it goes!

@dancingfairy1 I say we will do it, but whether we will or not I usually can't be bothered a few days after ovulation 😂 and then every time AF comes I say well give it a good go the next cycle, but it's hard as we both can't be bothered half the time 😂🙈 yea worth a shot, iv an upper respiration infection at the min and on antibiotics so using the mucinex aswell 😂 🤞🏻

Jumping on this thread and so glad to have found it. Been prescribed Letrozole for my very low AMH (0.24) and Progesterone that is very up and down month to month. Started my first round last week - first scan on Tuesday to see if I've any follicles. But for me the side effects have been quite bad a constant nausea and rumbly belly, even more moody than usual. Let's hope it's worth it!

My cycle hasn’t worked just waiting for period to start so I can try again 😭 I’m so disappointed

@smashedbanana I just get the benylin non drowsy cough bottle, once there is guaifenesin in it you're good, that's the ingredient you want 👌🤩

@smashedbanana I'm taking a spoonful every morning, I triggered today so will take it again a half hour before DTD! Defo up during fertile window, hoping for the best! I actually went to the toilet earlier and had loads of CM and I haven't had that in so long! Xx

Last day of taking tablets (day 7). First time getting really bad cramps though! Anyone else experience cramping while taking the tablets?

@dancingfairy1 can't say I remember ever having cramping but that's not to say it didn't happen, iv the memory of a goldfish at times 😂 I'm 3 days post trigger, tested this morning as I like to test out the shot and a lovely second line on it, hopefully will have it in 11 days 😂

I am one week Post trigger shot- one more week of waiting. On my ultrasound had 2 juicy follicles and triggered the same day.
It's my first round of doing this so really learning as I go. What's testing out the trigger if you don't mind me asking? Does the second line just gradually fade( and hopefully return again) ?

@susie1984234 I don't do triggers but yes that's exactly it. Some people like to test out the trigger each month and then once it disappears hopefully when you get the new second line it's the pregnancy hcg

@susie1984234 yep some people test it out and some people don't bother they wait to their test date, I am too impatient for that! I discovered I had a chemical last month as it faded and came back slightly up until test day and went away again then. But in a way I was happy as it was the first time I had got pregnant since my chemical in may last year! What trigger did you use?

I haven't tested in the last week so I'll probably wait until 14 days post trigger. But the waiting is intense!

I tested with ovitrelle 250mg, now using Progesterone for 14 days and keeping my fingers and toes crossed.
Yes I know what you mean - knowing you can get pregnant is half of the battle. Wishing you so much luck that the next one sticks!

Does anyone think my bottom test looks darker than the second last one? Both are today FMU & SMU. I always have had better luck with SMU for some reason. I'm really hoping this is the line coming back 🥺

Hello hope it’s ok to join! This is cycle 1 of ttc dc3 on letrozole.

I ovulate by myself but take steroids from ovulation so the letrozole+Trigger gives me extra chances each cycle and enables me to time the meds properly.

DC1 was conceived on cycle 1 with 1 follicle on 2.5mg when I was 30 - hit the jackpot!
DC2 was cycle 3 on 7.5mg with 3 follicles when I was 33.

Im 37 now so really hoping it still works! Bank holiday delayed me getting the letrozole so I started on cd3 (meant to start cd2). Today is cd 5 and I’ve got a scan next week on cd 11.

@harrietm87 this is giving me hope!!! Positive stories are far and few between for those of us that already ovulate. I'm 9DPO on cycle 3 of letrozole but cycle 16 in total x

im doing another cycle on 2.5mg I had 2 follicles again and did my trigger 2 days ago so hoping it works this time

I don’t have pcos but I found previously that it made me ovulate a little earlier (on cd 12-14 rather than 15-18) which I feel might have helped?

Im just hoping that it will work again and that I’m not too old now!
