1dpo - Anyone want to join during the two week wait?

Ella31 · 28/01/2024 00:39

Hi all, currently 1dpo. Hoping for a lucky month. I lost my twin boys a few months ago at 29 weeks due to TTTS. Two days before this I had a beautiful scan and two perfect babies - only 6 weeks away from c-section. And two days after my scan - our world fell apart. I had no movement and all of a sudden, I was told one of my babies had no heartbeat and then four days later, we had to remove life support from his twin brother as he was so ill. My sons were beautiful, visually perfect babies who were so unlucky. I miss them terribly.

So Here I am 1dpo and hoping for the best. Would love the support from any other hopeful ladies and in turn I'll support ye too. Much luck to us all 😀

Definitely test again tomorrow!! How long after did that show? Is there a chance it could have possibly been implantation bleeding?

It was definitely within 3 minutes. I dipped it and then took my make up off then checked it.
im really trying not to get my hopes built up.
I’ll do a test tomorrow morning again, I have a boots early detection in the drawer so will try that.
then I’ll take that as my final answer and stop testing 🤦🏼‍♀️ I’ll be back to OPKs very soon so that’ll distract me from HPT

Ah I'm really hoping this is it for you! I understand not wanting to get your hopes up though. How are you feeling? Did you feel like it was your period or did you feel different at all? Sorry for the interrogation 🙈

2BabyOrNot2Baby · 16/04/2024 12:52

Hope everyone is doing okay today. Apologies, I can't remember where everybody is up to in their cycles but hope it's going well wherever you may be. Or if AF has shown, hope it leaves soon for a fresh new month x

Sorry for jumping into the conversation here but just wondering if anyone on here has had symptoms post ovulation that are completely new ones. I have had sensitive nipples from 4 dpo which I appreciate is too early as a pregnancy system but it is completely new to me. Not something I ever get before a period. The only time i had any nipple sensitivity was in previous pregnancy before MMC when my boobs felt like lead balloons and hurt like hell but that was only from about 5/6 weeks and this is just nipple sensitivity.

I have! Around ovulation day I had really sensitive boobs but it seemed to calm down and has been back a few days now (I wanna say Sunday?). I don't really have that as a PMS symptom usually, I think the last time I did have it was January but that was also after a missed period 🙃 I'm telling myself that it's too early (7dpo now) to notice anything pregnancy related but also cannot switch off! I've been struggling with sleep too which is similar to when I was expecting my first. I'm hoping this means something but don't really want to get my hopes up. How many dpo are you?

Ella31 · 17/04/2024 10:48

All the time and then it's a bfn. It's weird , the time I fell pregnant with my late twins I had one symptom which was sore boobs but I'm not sure I was even aware of it that much because when I saw the positive I was shocked

Yeah, 7dpo in now. Had a busy few days though so thankfully the days haven't seemed so long. Also resisted the urge to test early. I've been rushing to the toilet as soon as I wake up so I can tell myself 'aw no, there goes fmu. Better luck tomorrow!' which is weird I'll admit, but it's working 🤣
Overall I'm good, thanks. Been quite nauseous, have sore boobs and my stomach has been a bit sore, but not in a bug kinda way, more pinchy/twisty. Also had a really sudden headache yesterday afternoon that was so bad I was instantly reaching for painkillers 😫

Flo is predicting AF for this Saturday, whilst Premom is predicting Monday. I'm not relying on either this month though as actual AF was way off last month. Not even sure when to test.

How are you?

No worries at all. I’m good thank you. Really trying to concentrate on being healthy and feeling good over this cycle. DH trip may be postponed so he might only be away for 1 night around ovulation instead of 4, here’s hoping.

Feeling a little bit down this evening and not really sure what to think of it. On one hand, I'm so happy (and blessed) that I have DS1 and I'm telling myself that he's more than enough for me and has already made me the happiest I've ever been, but on the other hand, not only do I want another baby for my husband and I, but also for my son. And I know that if I see a bfn, it's going to hurt. I think maybe it's getting to me a little bit more as it seems everyone around me is getting pregnant or I'm seeing announcements online. This is the first time I've really just slowed down today so I think it's just hit me like a truck.

I appreciate the fact that I'm so lucky already and am super grateful for my son but I really don't know how I'm supposed to feel right now. Is this normal? It's tearing me up inside and I feel absolutely awful. I'm on the verge of tears but my little boy is still awake and he seems to care a lot when people are sad so I don't want to bother him :(

Really strange isnt it. Mine are slightly less sore today which may not be a good thing. Will have to wait and see I guess.

What you are feeling is so normal. You will get pregnant though and it's ok to have that cry. Trying is so bloody hard.

Hi all, how is everyone?

I've started testing ovulation again, although just once a day as I've yet to have a period since the mc so no idea what my cycle will be like and don't want to waste the tests 😅 I did wonder if I was getting somewhere on the 15th but nothing materialised and then I was away overnight for work on Tuesday so didn't test and wasn't home until late last night. Have a wondering feeling I might have missed it but really no idea 🤷🏽‍♀️

Also still testing ever so slightly positive for pregnancy. It's definitely a squinter this time and not as strong as my BFP I had at 9DPO but it deffo has a shadow of a line in the right light so I'm hoping the next couple of days I'll get a stark negative and put this all behind us.

Thank you @Ella31. I think I was just having a particularly low evening where all my fears and worries were coming to the surface. I did have my little cry and I did feel a bit better for it. Thank you for being so kind 🥰

@CadoAvo I hope you had a nice night away and it gave you a little break

Aw @CadoAvo you're doing great. Fair play for staying this strong. I reckon your opk is strong because your preg test isn't fully negative yet. Another week I'd say. Hope you are doing ok

@Ella31 I never even thought of that! You're prob right. I'm just holding on to wishful thinking that I can catch ovulation before the first post mc period and maybe have a miracle happen but I know that's probably quite unlikely. It's just the fact I have literally zero idea when I should expect my period now, I don't like not knowing 😅
How are things with you?
