1dpo - Anyone want to join during the two week wait?

Hi all, currently 1dpo. Hoping for a lucky month. I lost my twin boys a few months ago at 29 weeks due to TTTS. Two days before this I had a beautiful scan and two perfect babies - only 6 weeks away from c-section. And two days after my scan - our world fell apart. I had no movement and all of a sudden, I was told one of my babies had no heartbeat and then four days later, we had to remove life support from his twin brother as he was so ill. My sons were beautiful, visually perfect babies who were so unlucky. I miss them terribly.

So Here I am 1dpo and hoping for the best. Would love the support from any other hopeful ladies and in turn I'll support ye too. Much luck to us all 😀

I’m glad to hear your GP has helped and is referring you - even if it helps with your anxiety.

my luteal phase was 15 days last cycle so I’m about right, I checked my cervical position this evening and it’s so high I can’t even feel it - all abit weird.

I just want AF to arrive now so I can get it over and done with and move forward.

That's a great luteal phase. Ah lord I feel for you. Obviously I don't want you to have bfn's but it's annoying when it doesn't come so you can move on

@Ella31 wow your GP sounds amazing so glad she listened to you.
I hope your tests are all good (I’m sure they will be) and give you some much needed reassurance. Counselling will be fantastic too.

@CadoAvo so glad you managed to get out today just even to take your mind off stuff.

So we shipped the toddler off to his nans todays so we could have a bit of us time and relax and DTD this afternoon before work so feeling much more positive today now than yesterday. Think we were both tired last night and it ended up being forced.

@Ella31 please don't feel guilty, it's a fear you can't control. I was worried I had fertility issues before I even tried getting pregnant 🥴

@Beanie14 haha I did the exact same yesterday! 🤣 Not oversharing at all, we've all been there I'm sure. TTC can be so exhausting, sometimes it just doesn't feel fun. Glad you're feeling better!

I’ve just done a test randomly as I have really sore boobs and the worst heartburn & there was the faintest line but every time I tried to take a photo it wasn’t picking up😅 I’m gonna retest in a couple days🤞🏼

Has anybody else had sore boobs as an ovulation symptom? I've had it for the first time this month and they're so, so sore 😭 really hoping I get a break from it between now and AF symptoms

Still no AF… I feel weird. I really want it to come but at the same time I’m clearly desperate to see a BFP. I’ve tested today and I wasn’t sure if I saw a whisper of a second line but I think it’s just my eyes wishing it to be there if I’m honest.
according to pre-mom I’m 1 day late for AF. I’ll test every day now until I know either way.

i took another test just before I went out tonight as I was going for cocktails with my partner, the quality on here has gone down but on my actual camera roll it’s a lot clearer.. thoughts on thisss?😫

@Om0 im not sure I can see anything on here but not to say it’s not there it’s probably just the upload quality.
maybe wait a day or 2 and test again, should be a lot clearer then. I have everything crossed for you xx

I agree @Om0, upload quality can be so tricky sometimes, and my line eyes are absolutely terrible 🙈 but I do kinda feel like I see something.. I'd definitely keep testing.

@Ncl31 keep testing! I didn't get my bfp with my son until about a week after my period was due.

Would you test with a clearblue or frer. Would be much clearer for you.

Ive a christening to go to today. Feeling sick to my stomach about it. But has to be done.

I'm day 5 today. Dying for ovulation to hurry up and come so the torture can start again 😅

How was the Christening Ella?

I've had a good couple of days. Met a friend for coffee on Thursday. On Friday I woke up with a raging headache so had to cancel the lunch plans I had with my wife but was feeling better by dinner so we went out for pizza with some friends. Tonight my wife, sister and I went to the theatre which was great. I've decided to go back to work on Monday. I hope I'm not getting too ahead of myself and crash later but right now I feel okay and just desperate to get back to normal life and TTC. I so want to be pregnant. Nighttime is more difficult as I lie in bed thinking about what could have been but I hope this will ease with time. Ive taken another pregnancy test today and it's still showing a faint positive. Not sure when to start testing Ovulation again but dont really wanna miss it this month 🤔

@Ella31 sorry i had a super busy day yesterday.
AF arrived early morning yesterday. I knew it wa a the way. At least now I can move on.

I'm sorry @Ncl31 , it's crap. What month is this for you? Going onto 5 now.

My fertile window is from the 23rd to the 28th. I usually ovulate on day 20. So expecting that. I'm hoping the accupuncture might bring my ovulation earlier

This is month 22 for us. The only BFP we’ve had was the one late last year that I miscarried at 8 weeks on Christmas Day.
my fertile window is around the same as yours with predicted ovulation Sunday 28th - typical as OH is away from the Thursday of that week so we will be having a month off I feel :(

Hopefully the test will be negative in a few days but I know that is mentally difficult too. The Christening was ok. I attended the service part and went home after.

I'm like you, dying to get pregnant again. I know it will happen. People keep telling me 33 is not young and it's so unfair as I didn't choose for life to go this way. I was 31 during my first mc and I turned 33 2 weeks after I lost my boys. I'm just hoping the fact that I've been pregnant 3 times in 9 months is a good sign.

I remember you said that. Well if I were you I'd still go it the days leading up. You never know.

I’ve told DH that he has a month to chill, he’s now worried about going away because we will miss a cycle. I’ve told him not to worry at all and just go with it, I know psychologically we will both want to DTD before he goes away anyway so that’ll give us the best chance but I know deep down it’ll be way too early. Hopefully it’ll just give me a month to reset.
My best friend has just delivered her twins this week at 32 weeks, I’m looking forward to seeing her tomorrow. We were planning on being on maternity leave together so it’ll be a bitter sweet moment I guess.

Would it be worth maybe still DTD before he leaves anyway? You never know and speaking from experience, ovulation isn't always the most predictable thing 😅 a little break to reset may be really good also though. It really can be mentally exhausting, can't it? Hope today isn't too hard on you ❤️

I'm 5dpo today and I've noticed an increase in CM the past two days or so, especially yesterday. Is that normal? It's alternating between EWCM and watery.
Apologies if I sound really dim but that's completely new for me and just unsure on whether that's to be expected or not. I try not to read too much into things online 😶 (despite me asking this in an online forum!) hope everyone is doing okay today x

I’m totally exhausted by it all. We will still DTD anyway I’m sure.
im CD3 today - for some bizarre reason I done a HPT today…. There’s a line there but I think it looks like the dye has run and it’s actually not positive.
my period was only 2 days too - not really the normal. But I’m telling myself this is a false pos it I’ve and will test again in the morning. I have no idea why I tested.
