We have a conversation in the diary next week (have to book these things in!) to discuss our next steps. We can't afford further treatment at the moment so we might be back to looking for a known donor, using the DIY method to try to get my wife pregnant again, as it worked reasonably quickly with her last time.

@RunningOnHope Oh gosh I'm sorry I didn't tag you! I was in a hurry and just highlighted all the names I saw in a post and didn't think to check back. I'm really sorry about that. Whatever your plans are going forward, I wish you all the luck in the world xx

@CR7 you're most welcome xx I'm okay, thanks. It's just hit me that my OTD is tomorrow, that's how much I've shifted my focus lately 😂 I don't feel anything towards it tbh, I'm still very indifferent. Tuesday I might feel something as it's results day. But if it's bad news, then it'll just round off another shitty year. My manager at work has told me he wishes myself and DH the best, but then he's the same idiot that tried to get me to rearrange my transfer, so I have mixed feelings. I appreciate his well-wishes though.

@SarahShorty I can completely relate to your feeling miserable ❤️ Not much longer now. Are you managing to distract yourself at all?

I found something that was quite a good distraction - I took out a digital magazine subscription that has a free month trial. Now I have something to look at with lovely winter home decoration/food etc ideas (or whatever you might prefer) on hand rather than obsessively googling ‘9dp3dt no symptoms’ etc. Thought I’d share in case anyone finds it useful.

I have absolutely no symptoms, don’t even feel tired, really don’t ‘feel’ like there is anything possibly happening and tested negative a couple of days ago. So pretty much called it as over until we get confirmation tomorrow. I can’t imagine having to do this all over again for our third and final round but maybe in a month or two I’ll feel differently.

@RunningOnHope Good to hear from you, hope that you are doing alright. Would you not consider going with the diy method for yourself? Please feel free not to answer if you’d rather not xx

Ok guys I’m out. AF just showed up so that’s round 2 failed. That’s one failed, one cancelled and one ectopic now. It’s absolutely shit but not as bad as last time at least. It just feels like such a colossal waste of everything.

Just checking in xx I've had my blood taken for testing. I'll find out tomorrow morning. I know I can always do a home test, but I can't bring myself to do so. Deep down, I don't think it's worked. Why would I? We've had two embryos fail to grow beyond implantation and/or fail to implant. It's also been almost two years now, at this point a positive pregnancy test would knock me out of my chair.

@SarahShorty just jumping onto this thread as you were on one of my old threads. I have absolutely everything crossed for you and really do hope this is your time. (I have been watching this thread for a while, as I am soon to start IVF).

I'm in complete and total shock.

Hi ladies xx I did NOT expect to get a positive! At all! And yes, it really did knock me out of my chair! Finger crossed they both will grow, although one would be amazing after all this time ❤I'll still take each day as it comes as it's still so early. I'm going to be praying so hard every day to get to the birth date, my DH worked out 5th July. I forgot there are due date calculators on the internet 😂
