Anyone else in the TTW and like some company

Hello,

I am very much a newbie to this (first post), I am 34F in a same-sex relationship and we did our first unmedicated IUI last week (now 4dpo).

Is anyone else currently in the TTW and would like to chat?

I honestly didn't realise how slowly time would go, feels like these 4 days have taken forever.

14DPO and still negative, so I'm out. AF is looming.

AF has started to show her face this morning at 13DPO so I’m out too. 🤞for us all for the next cycle! I’ll be starting to track BBT this time too, in the hopes I’ll have a better idea of my chances, before getting this far into the TWW 🫠

I think I'll be joining you... Expecting AF tonight or tomorrow. Am only 10dpo (was accidentally a day ahead of myself in last post) but had periody twinges last night, no matter how much I tried to believe they could be implantation twinges! Test also a bfn yesterday although I know 9dpo is super early to see anything. Will test again on Sunday (12dpo) if no AF. But I just... don't feel it this month.

This is only my second month of trying. Weirdly the first month I'm convinced something happened, but didn't stick. Never got a positive test but had unusual symptoms at 5-7dpo accompanied by an absolute conviction I was pregnant which dwindled, then I was sure it had passed by 8 dpo (despite AF still being days away). AF then began with pinky brown blood which is unusual.

Has anyone else had that sort of experience? It's so intriguing not being able to know for sure!

It will be month three for me also! 3rd time lucky?

It makes me realise just how lucky we got first time round as we conceived on the second cycle, DS is now 22 months. Need to remember that is the exception and not the rule.

have to just believe we’ll get our BFP in the end and try and keep busy in the meantime, luckily I have plans coming up in November which will help with the next TWW!

Hello ! I’m 7 dpo today, I have no symptoms and have a strong feeling i am NOT pregnant, just like the 5 past months.
Naturally trying, healthy 30 years old couple.
I try to stay positive but it gets harder and harder.

It's definatly very hard and although people say your only going into month 3 it's still upsetting when u do everything u can that month 🤣🤦‍♀️and still get a bfn...

Hopefully we will all get a bfp soon..im 37 so understand timea against me my partner is 32

Hey guys, no AF for me yet - four days late. Although I tested negative at 12DPO.

I'm going to buy a test tonight if AF hasn't arrived.

Tested strong positives yesterday (took two tests to be doubly sure!), which puts me at about 4 weeks pregnant and a due date of around midsummer’s day 🙂

Absolutely terrified.

In shock. Wasn't tracking this month after my third loss of the year on Halloween. I'd given myself a month off for some head space and have been drinking wine, having hot baths, rough-housing with my toddler... Suddenly realised I've not had a period yet and got my work Christmas do this eve so tested...

Omg, congrats @SnookyPook! When's your due date? I'm 9th August!

6th! But that's a long way off right now... 😬🤞🏻🌈

Congrats to the bfp looks like I'm in the collection who arnt having much luck 😪..currently 10 pr 11dpo and bfn this morning although I thought I saw a vvfl on boots early this morning but I think I have line eyes now 🤣🤣..due on Sunday or Monday

I have had several failed IUI’s now, and been approved for NHS IVF funding, so starting IVF at the start of Jan! Meds should be arriving next week! Eek!

We decided last month to take a break until January as timings would have been dreadful for a wedding I'm MoH at next year…Sod’s Law I’ll have a positive test next week 😂

Hello everyone I hope you are well. @SnookyPook and @fr4zzledmum I hope your pregnancies have gone smoothly.

I wanted to pop back on here as we have finally had our first ever BFP (and this was my first post on mumsnet so thought it would be nice to update aha)!

I ended up doing IVF and after some failed transfers to me, my wife is pregnant with my embryo! Very early days but we are cautiously optimistic!

I hope lots of you also have some lovely BFPs too since this post was first created ❤️

I'm delighted to say that after my 3 losses last year, the surprise positive test of my last post did indeed stick and I am sitting here snuggling my 2 week old! Bit of a stressful pregnancy and he was delivered slightly early (made it to 37wks though!) due to growth restriction. Born 22nd July on the 2nd centile but thriving. Absolutely in love with him 🥰 We've called him Samuel.

I gave birth last Tuesday by elective section at 39 weeks, after baby was measuring big (at one point they thought he was going to be 11lb+). He was in fact 9lb 1.5oz and we've called him Osian Finan :)
