Well just spoke to dr. He wasnt going to call me cause he felt that he had already discussed everything after my op and that it wasnt a good idea to discuss it over the phone that he will speak to me at me appointment. I said no you will discuss it with me now so when my appointment comes i can be prepared with questions for you.
Ok so this is what is happening. Large possiblilty that i have blocked tubes he wants to do a Levervist test (ultrasound with a cathader and dye) if my tubes are blocked then there is no option but ivf. BULLSHIT.... i told him that i looked on the internet and there are other options and there is either surgery or a falaoscapy (sp?) He said that the womens hosipital where he works doesnt do it anymore but maybe another hosipital does i asked him to find that out b4 our meeting and the cost of the ultrasound so i dont have to wait on the public list. He really wont know what hits him next thursday i will be so educated in this he will have no option but to do as i say to just get rid of me quick!!!!! Also told me that he didnt find any endo and no cysts and that blocked tubes are from an infection at some stage like a sexually transmitted disease. WHAT i have never had anything that i know of!!!!! Help i am really worried now!!!!

Tania: wow, good for you. Your doctor is probably more scared than you are!

I had chlamydia for ages and because it is symptomless I didn't have a clue until a previously virgin boyfriend was diagnosed with it (sleeping with virgins - well I was young!) - he WAS showing symptoms in the way of a discharge, but it's common not to. The problem with chlamydia is that is it symptomless and they are seeing more and more problems with women who have had them for years. Wonder if it's worth asking if you should be screened?

From a website somewhere:
"The most common cause of blocked tubes is infection, and the most common infection implicated is called chlamydia. About 70% of women who have blocked tubes have had a chlamydia infection, though half the time it will have been silent and they will not have even been aware of it."

Anyway, it might not be an STD, it might be anything and you might never know.

Good luck with your research and go for it! (((hugs)))

CD32 and I just did a test - I'm an idiot. Of course it was a BFN but now I still feel disappointed and an idiot as well.

Well done with the Dr Tania - sounds like you were really on the ball with him. I take it Thursday is your appt with him so you have a whole week to do lots of research. He really won't know what's hit him . If I find anything useful will let you know.

Hello everyone else - fingers crossed for your appt Jeddah. How are you doing Hester? Any sign of AF? JB - the whole house??? blimey - v. impresssed. Does that mean you're free to come and start on mine now?

Oh Tania, sounds all very complicated. Really hope at your next appointment you can get all your answers and that you don't have to wait to long.

Sorry about BFN Rudy.

Fine. On CD14 (I think) but have lost my BBT thermometer. Have searched everywhere. Rockon DD must have been playing doctors with it. Tried using normal thermometer but it is rubbish! But seem to have had EWCM for 3 days now, and had tummy cramps yesterday afternoon and evening which have no gone. But seems too early for OV - past 3 months of trying OV has been CD15 or 17. Could I have OVd early do you reckon?

I'm no expert but...it does sound like it. Especially if you have EWCM ("the dogs bollocks of CM" to quote hester ). Not to be too personal (well, yes actually but that is what this thread is all about) but have you bd'd? tbh I think with signs like that it is worth a go, iykwim. This month I had various signs at various times of the month and nothing made sense or matched up so just bd'd anyway and hoped for the best

I now have cramps but am trying very hard not to read anything into them either way...
