Hi @charja100 glad to see you back. I have been thinking about you and your consultant appointment for the steps of FET. I noticed in your first msg you had 3 options and 1 was natural? Id be interested in that one, do they mean completely natural? as i hate the fact we have to do so many drugs. Completely sympathise with you though because i cannot make a decision to save my life and sometimes think its better if they dont give you one and take it out of your control!

Any tips for feeling better quicker post EC? This morning I just feel awfully bruised internally (which makes sense I suppose!) I hate being immobilised. It makes me so cross that I can't help out with the toddler or any house stuff. My poor husband is having to do everything 😭

@CR7 We're still waiting :/ When did everyone get theirs? I'm now panicking that it's not good news as it's taking so long 😅

@charja100 ah it’s so nice to hear from you - have been thinking about you and @pongom and hoping you are doing ok xxx That’s wonderful that you were able to get away and give yourself time to recover.

@RunningOnHope hope the test goes well today - I was up very early today to go do a (final) blood test - hopefully we can get some clarity today. I’m on day 4 of heavy bleeding so I know what the answer will be but at least can put things to rest.

@TheBirdintheCave very best of luck with the fertilisation numbers, I know the egg number was a little lower than you might have liked but they really are great numbers and sounds like you have really strong chances xx I would say let your husband take care of things for a little bit and don’t worry about it, you have been through so much with the drugs and surgery, you need to rest.

@CR7 hope you are alright and coping the with the joy/stress of your positive! I can’t imagine how nerve wracking it must be for you, but hopefully the level of medical support and preparation you have put in place means that certain issues will be avoided before they can crop up.

Good morning @Triselly , our brave warrior. What a stressful time it's been for you. Hopefully answers today.

I'm doing ok here. Back to normal life in Manchester this afternoon and then back to work on Saturday. Have got to get back to normality now and not just stay in my holiday bubble in the Lake District xx

@TheBirdintheCave some phone calls will take longer and then some won't be answered for whatever reason and then some people call back the missed call etc. just be patient xx

@CR7 I am not a patient patient at all 😂 Also! Cool to have a fellow northerner on this thread. I'm a Scouser (who lives in Sussex) :)

I actually rang our embryology team in the end and she said sorry they were super busy but she could give me initial results there and then and call later for more detail.

I think I rang at 10:30 as my clinic opened at 8am and I felt it was a reasonable time to pester 🤣

@Triselly Oh I love Norway! Such a beautiful country.

Still no update. The letter definitely says they will call in the morning so they have 15 minutes left before I implode with worry that nothing has fertilised at all.

Definitely chase them up @TheBirdintheCave that's a bit unfair to keep you waiting until lunch time!

@TheBirdintheCave call them - I had a missed update where two embryologists thought the other had called me. They were very apologetic once I phoned!

I'll have to get my husband to do it after lunch before he goes to work now 😕

21 embryos, maybe 22 (they're going to check that one tomorrow). I can't believe it.

I can finally go and have a shower now 😂

That is an insane amount of embryos @TheBirdintheCave ! Congrats! Fingers crossed they all progress nicely xx
