@Valentina1985 i know it’s super disheartening but try to remember it only takes that special one!

@Triselly , I got a call this morning. One fertilised... We will try to transfer it tomorrow at day 2 only...
I sitll dont understand how the 6 mature follicles we were seeing on Monday became only 2 eggs...

@Valentina1985 it sounds like they're taking the "Well, we've done all this work and got this far, let's just go ahead and stick it in." approach. It has the best chance of growing inside you than in the lab.

For reference, I had 33 follicles and only 14 eggs, 10 were mature, 8 fertilised and 5 made it to 5 day blastocyst. So the attrition rate you're seeing sounds about right.

@SarahShorty , I think this is exactly what has happened... Given we are here, it seems like taking the 1% chance we have... How did you make so many blastocysts!? Lucky you!

@Valentina1985 I don't know. Just luck I guess. Unfortunately 2 of them didn't make a baby. I had another 2 transferred a week ago so I have one more left. Fertility, be it natural or assisted is a lottery, it's a numbers game.

I'm 9dpt today and haven't tested. I've not had anymore nausea and I've had a few cramps here and there. There were two embryos put in so I'm hoping at least one of them makes it, although I would love if they both make it. My DH keeps asking how I'm feeling, bless his heart. OTD is Monday and we find out the results on the following day.

I have to admit I caved and tested this morning with an early response test - negative. Terrible idea, spent all day feeling completely miserable. I've had my husband hide the last test so I won't be tempted again.

I don't think it's gonna be good news for me, I feel absolutely nothing and have had a hunch for a few days that it hasnt worked. But you never know. At least I'm prepared I guess.

Really feeling for you @Triselly - it's so hard not to test and not to get discouraged. Really hoping for good news for you both on Monday.
