OP posts:
Diege · 23/02/2008 18:37

Lol at the 'mooing' nat

NatalieJane · 23/02/2008 18:40

Mooing my bestest, favourite-est, silly-est birthy past time At least I don't seem to swear and poo all the time, it is a bonus really

Diege · 23/02/2008 18:44

Yes, better than swearing deffo..now pooing, we all did that didn't we now..[please tell me I wasn't the only one . Oh you first timers have sooo much to look forward to!

NatalieJane · 23/02/2008 18:47

Nope, I never pooed!! I should shut up before I am made to eat my words shouldn't I?!! I think it was because I did my best to relax about the whole pooing thing, my sister forwarned of how bad her piles were after she spent more time concentrating on not pooing than pushing, was enough to make me think pooing wasn't the worst thing in the world!

I do remember DH's face though when I warned him I might poo a bit though LOL

NatalieJane · 23/02/2008 18:48

Right dinner is done

See you tomorrow/Monday, have a nice night xxx

Diege · 23/02/2008 18:52

Hope all my pooing talk hasn't put you off your dinner . Oh and I must tell you that they write it on your notes too - mine was black apparently. Thought I should share that while you're all getting your teas

NatalieJane · 23/02/2008 18:58

Nope, apparently we are having a surprise special late dinner Kids dinner was done!

It takes more than poo to put me off my dinner, with two boys I am more than used to it by now!

kayzisbroody · 23/02/2008 19:31

I didn't poo either.
Just been to Threshers and its closing down and there is 25% off everything!!!
YAY sales!!

Diege · 23/02/2008 19:55

Nooo, don't make me the lone poo-er of the thread..maybe you just didn't realise it in the midst of all the moo-ing etc?? Maybe??

kayzisbroody · 23/02/2008 19:58

I know I def didnt, sorry Diege.
You know I think these 2 weeks are going to take forever to go.

Do you think 1 bottle of Smirnoff Ice will do any damage if I am pg?
Or am I being stupid?

Diege · 23/02/2008 20:21

Kay, I'd say one bottle would be fine. TBh, I think (within limits) it's best to carry on as normal until you get a bfp. Ie, not get blinding drunk or anything, but keep generally fit and healthy, with a few indulgences (ie. bottle of smirnoff) more for good mental health than anything else. Plus you won't get all resentful if/when you were to get a bfn?
Arghh, can't believe the rubbish telly tonight . Where's casualty??? Eh?? Just rubbish rugby . Dh has gone out to watch it and has palmed me off with cheapo dvd from Morrisons ('Coach Carter' .
Hope everyone else is enjoying their nights, and getting lots of GOF!

kayzisbroody · 23/02/2008 20:58

Yeah I'm only having the one.
I'm enjoying tonight as the Rugby is on!!
I'm a real football and rugby fanatic!!

NatalieJane · 23/02/2008 22:44

Again I think I migth have to calm DH down, he is going to warn out by April, bless him

Sorry Diege, I don't remember much about DS1's birth but DH swears I didn't poo (so obviously I didn't!!) and DS2's I deffo didn't poo! Ewwww you poo'ed you poo'ed!!!! LOL I really am going to shut up now because I have another labour to get through yet! LOL

Agree about telly, but my loverrrly Ant and Dec was on so I can't moan too much

Also agree about carry on as normal throughout 2ww, plus you can guarentee the month you 'let yourself go' and get a bit merry will be the month you get a BFP, it is sod's law!

Did anyone catch Ant and Dec? Did you see that Brian bloke (from BB I think?) on the baby bouncing game, was PMSL so much we had to rewind it to watch it again

kayzisbroody · 24/02/2008 07:28

Morning all,
I had a night off GOFing last night. I was so tired and dh fell asleep on the sofa so I was asleep when he came to bed.

Hope you are all well!

Diege · 24/02/2008 09:38

Morning Less of a good sleep last night - woken up by noise of dd3 bouncing on her bed seceral times during the night!
Third-time lucky on the pooing front Nat . Lol at dh waering himself out - they always get the energy from somewhere I find . Didn't see Ant & Dec - just don't 'get' them, though love them in I'm A Celebrity .
Kay, hopefully the rest did you good! Will you GOF tonight just in case do you think?
I must start remembering my folic acid as only anther cycle to go now til ttc month!!!

kayzisbroody · 24/02/2008 09:45

Morning Diege,
Yeah I think we might do, just to be on the safe side.

Why is there nothing on the TV this morning?

Diege · 24/02/2008 10:05

Kay, why not join the world of Cbeebies like us - something for everyone there, from 6am to 7pm!!

MoosMa · 24/02/2008 10:18

Hello all, may join you? I've got 2DDs (2.6 and 1) and we're thinking about number 3. We're hanging on for a few months though as I had awful ms with both pgs and want to time it right so it's not the middle of summer when I'm feeling sick! Hopefully we'll start cooking in about June/July/August but I can't see me waiting patiently for that long!

NatalieJane · 24/02/2008 10:22

Good morning (5am this morning, I wasn't impressed, especially as I hadn't been to sleep by then )

Welcome Moos You are in fine company here (well all except Diege, she poo'ed in labour ) LOL Sorry, couldn't help myself, you want me to poo, I will expose!!!!

MoosMa · 24/02/2008 10:39

Doesn't everyone poo in labour?! I had DD2 at home so at least it was only mw and DH to witness!

kayzisbroody · 24/02/2008 11:12

Hello Moos,

NJ maybe its just us that don't poo!!!

I have been watching Cbebbies all morning and its driving me mad now!!

Diege · 24/02/2008 11:20

Thank you and WELCOME Moos . Yep, just Kay and Nat who are 'anally (sp?) retentive' .
Very sick of Cbeebies here too. Off to Blue Planet Aquarium this afternoon (probably with the rest of the North West looking at the weather!
Have been reading with interest the thread in parenting about going from 3 to 4 - very encouraging! - although I'm having one of those mornings when I would happily give them all away!!!

kayzisbroody · 24/02/2008 13:40

Just been sorting through ds's baby clothes. We're giving some of the stuff to charity and keeping the really nice stuff. Only problem is that I wanted to keep everything!

Starshinetiger · 24/02/2008 15:29

Hi Ladies - 5 pages to catch up in 2 days ! Diege and Moos I'm in your company, not Nat & Kayz - I had a water birth so there was no escaping the fact that I'd pooed! Only thing that consoled me was that I had heard about it beforehand and SIL told me story that when her DD was born, she had her DH in a headlock and his head was quite close to the action!! He is now ex-DH and a complete and total loser - obviously he got what he was due in advance !

Playing, thanks for lovely suggestions re. lunch yesterday. I found a lovely recipe for paprika chicken with lemon rice and everyone enjoyed it. I did make two desserts though, but managed to stick to one slice of lime cheesecake (made the choccie brownies with wheatflour, so I doubly couldn't eat them, as am intolerant to wheat and given up choccie for lent). Still felt quite virtuous as everyone else had cheesecake and brownies with ice-cream.

LL - don't worry about typos, I didn't even notice them. Have seen lots about the fact that apparently as long as you get the first and last letters right, people will read what you meant without noticing the errors - aolng teh lnies of tihs ralely - so it doesn't matter if you mistype occasionally.

Diege, is it really only one more cycle til TTC - think you're April/May like me? Still persisting with weight loss here, and this weekend won't have helped much, but I haven't totally overindulged. I am still expecting AF next weekend and then it will be one more cycle til TTC - how exciting! As predicted, I did get really broody when my pg friend was over yesterday and know I'll be even more so when DC arrives in April. Plus DS is so cute at the moment! And am feeling on a high as I've realised I have enough meals frozen for him for probably next 2 weeks, so no immediate cooking needed - yay! It is so sad that I get excited about that!

LOL at TV births though! I can't complain, as I was only in hospital 3.5 hours before DS was born - and to think they told me to wait at home for longer, but I said "I don't think so!" - maybe I'll get a TV birth with DC2?

Can anyone tell me re. Pregnacare, do you always take it after main meal as per packet instructions? I keep forgetting and remember at other times of the day - is it better to take then than not at all?

Right, another long waffly post from me -sorry .

kayzisbroody · 24/02/2008 16:19

YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ds pulled himself onto his feet today and took a few steps while holding onto his lion walker thing!!!
He then fell on his bum and looked confused!!
