Hello

I have read all the post's but forgotten most of it

Happy birthday to BB, I know I have missed her, but still!
Matilda is a lovely name, and I like all the shortnings for it.
Kayz, I am so glad I didn't come back on yesterday, think talk of yummy chocolate would have sent me running back to the bathroom. Obviously now I am slavering....!
Diege, our Playbarn (well actually it is in Bolton so isn't our's and is called Wobbly Bobs ) is completely opposite to what you said, full of mums yelling "Dione/Avril/Cruz/ come and drink your coke before it goes in't bin" Cue 3 year old with choclate around his mouth, wearing a faux Burbery vest, earrings a thick gold chain, and a bracelet. "Don't let me get to you, your arse will hurt" classy... Of course we could always go to Rumble Tumbles in Blackburn, but I actually quite like my kids being in one piece, and certainly don't like spending the morning in soft play and the afternoon in A&E!

OK I feel a bit zombie like, but other than that, better! DS2 seemed to get over it by lunch time and was fine, me on the other hand had the whole day either led in bed thinking "I think I am going to be sick" or rushing to the bathroom thinking "I know I am going to be sick" or actually in the bathroom thinking "OK I was sick" T'was a loverrrly day I think it is the first time I have had a sickness bug since I was DS1's age, they don't normally get me even when everyone else has it. Just waiting for DH to come home with it now.

No sex here, obviously, fingers crossed DH doesn't get it, so normal service can resume tonight!

lardylumps · 23/02/2008 10:17

I am so tired as well dd has been up a lot the last two nights with her teeth. And now I have an 8 hour shift to look forward to as well. Can?t see me GOF this weekend I am to shattered. Still I have still got 2 weeks of pills to go anyway so no TTC yet.

What would happen if I just stopped taking them now? No no don?t answer that I must wait time April?

NatalieJane · 23/02/2008 10:22

LL if you stopped taking them now, you would just have a normal withdrawel bleed, there is nothing saying you have to finish a packet.

Not that I am trying to tempt you or anything

lardylumps · 23/02/2008 10:26

NJ that is naughty...

NatalieJane · 23/02/2008 10:28

A bit of nautiness never hurt anyone....

Ahem, I mean, really you should stick to your plan, but you don't have to.....

kayzisbroody · 23/02/2008 10:39

You dont have to wait LL. I didnt!!
Ds has his 8th tooth coming through so I know how you feel.

Nat I'm glad you are feeling better. I was meant to have night of GOFing last night. But we couldn't help ourselves. Might have night off tonight but I'm worried that we'll miss OV if we do.

NatalieJane · 23/02/2008 10:42

I have completely forgotten everything now, when are you due to OV? Was it today or tomorrow?

kayzisbroody · 23/02/2008 10:44

I thought it was today but I've just looked at fertilty friend and it says yesterday so hopefully I'll be ok.

NatalieJane · 23/02/2008 10:49

Have you had any signs? EWCM? One sided achiness? If it was yesterday then yes you will be fine. I think TBH even if it is today or tomorrow you will be covered by last nights GOF and tonights. But I'd have another GOF on Monday just to make sure

BTW, as long as DH's sperm count is normal, you don't have to have a night off to get him, ermmmm, refueled It is only if they are known to have a lower sperm count that one night one night off is a good idea

NatalieJane · 23/02/2008 10:52

Blardy hell, "one night on, one night off..." FFS, can't get my brain to wake up today, I have just made a brew, put kettle on, took milk out of the fridge, filled mug with milk, came and sat down, and just heard the kettle click off...

kayzisbroody · 23/02/2008 10:53

I think I had some EWCM friday morning. I'm going to make sure we do it again tonight and probably monday and have tomorrow off.

Diege · 23/02/2008 10:58

Morning . Well, I feel groggy with too much sleep - lie-in until 9ish . I wish I had had less .
Glad you're feeling on the mend Nat. Lol at Bolton playbarn . Our 'posh' one was in the village I live in, but 2 miles along in centre of Warrington there are plenty of the usual 'gerr here you little shit' type places .
Kay, I think you should have covered yourself with your GOF; ferility monitor isn;t perfect either..maybe check out the old false nail test? (always worked for me - wonder if it will this time now that I've had my acrylics off and gone 'natural' after 5 years ??).
LL, I think most people I've known do actually stop mid-way through the pack. Maybe because once it's in your mind to stop people tend to become a bit slapdash and forget them anyway!. My frined had the fright of her life when she went for a smear test recently. The dr. announced - 'you've missed a pill haven't you?' (she had). Apparently they can tell by looking at your cervix/whatever else they see up there, and she had to come back a few weeks later when they knew where she was in her cycle!
Two more houses to look round tonight, then we'll put an offer in Monday!

NatalieJane · 23/02/2008 10:58

Well if it was yesterday, I'd say tonight would be the lot (for TTC'ing, any other time you fancy a GOF is up to you!!!)

So count down to testing begins Bastard horrid 2WW, you'd have thought by now they'd have come up with something which tells you are pregnant as soon as you've done the business All this waiting for the sperm to reach the egg and implant in your womb, 'tis bollox!

kayzisbroody · 23/02/2008 11:02

Yeah 2 weeks of feeling nervous. I've been really enjoying this GOFing. We havent done it this much in 1 week since we got together!!

There's only 5 days until Teuch can test!!

I might have to buy a early response one so I can test in 10 days rather than 14 days.

Diege · 23/02/2008 11:06

Am very much looking forward to symptom spotting Kay . Have to say, the only problem I have with constant GOF is my prepensity to thrush . I can go months without an attack at all, then I'll have is constantly for 1 to 2 months. I've been told that it's linked to then high amount of sugar in my diet (I was tested for diabetes too)and when I cut sugar and yeast out of my diet it disappears! TBH though, I'd rather have the otching and keep eating the choc

Diege · 23/02/2008 11:10

itching even

kayzisbroody · 23/02/2008 11:10

I had it when I was pg and it drove me insane. For some reason people dont batter an eyelid if a man itches himself but a woman???
I'm sure I looked like John Wayne walking around.

I am looking forward to symptom spotting too.

NatalieJane · 23/02/2008 11:11

PMSL Diege Hope the viewings go well, you will have to send us links, we'll decide for you

Pah, Teuch, traitor! (Crosses fingers she hurry's up and get's back, can't believe she just upped and left us all here waiting....!!

Diege · 23/02/2008 11:13

Lol Kay! In fact every month I have been pregnant, I've got it too - hormones I guess! It got so bad when I was pregnant with dd3 that I couldn't even wear knickers Remember popping into public toilets once for a really good scratch

kayzisbroody · 23/02/2008 11:15

Its dreadful Nat!! How could she do it to us? We don't know if she has any symptoms or anything!!
PMSL Diege I might have to remember that.

NatalieJane · 23/02/2008 11:19

I am going to risk the itch and say that I don't think I have ever had thrush. The only itching down there I've ever had was when I first started sporting the landing strip, and yes, then I could be found in the ladies having a good ol' scratch

lardylumps · 23/02/2008 11:20

Ladies you have convinced me I am not taking my pill today. Oh actually I had better check with DP first hadn't I??????

NatalieJane · 23/02/2008 11:21

Nah, he doesn't need to know.... not at all

kayzisbroody · 23/02/2008 11:22

YAY LL!!!!!
Hopefully your dh is like mine!! Not too bothered when we ttc!!

Diege · 23/02/2008 11:23

Lol Nat - I have visions of women the country protesting over the closing of local toilets leaving them nowhere to pop into for their good ol' scratching . I think women are split into two camps - the thrush-ers and the cystitsus-ers - If you havn't got thrush by now I'd say you probably never will . Thankfully I've only had cystitus once or twice.
