Yay LL, way to go!!!

NatalieJane · 23/02/2008 11:26

I've never had either of them. Am I strange?!! The only time I had any type of medical problem down there was one mild urine infection when I was pregnant with DS1, maybe my diet of wine and choclate count's for something?!

Has everyone seen that thread in active convos, about grey pubes, have just PMSL reading it

NatalieJane · 23/02/2008 11:26

Erm... not literally pissed myself, I am not incontinent either...!

lardylumps · 23/02/2008 11:27

Right on way home from work get wine and chocolate to soften dp up and i will just come out with it, "darling you know we said we would wait until dd was one welllllllll i have come off the pill now".

If he says no NJ i am blaming you....

NatalieJane · 23/02/2008 11:29

Just say it will help give you an idea of your normal cycles, throw some big words in, he won't have a clue what you're yabbering on about, and agree. Easy peasy

NatalieJane · 23/02/2008 11:31

Oh oh oh, don't start with "Darling" either, my DH told me once when I start with Darling he knows he isn't going to like it!

lardylumps · 23/02/2008 11:32

Good idea NJ right I am doing it so next problem where can I buy energy??

NatalieJane · 23/02/2008 11:33

LOL Ermmmm, red bull? Coffee? Can't you get caffinated pills?

Wine! Wine helps, lots of it, answer to everything I reckon

Diege · 23/02/2008 11:35

Yes, big words are good. I'd say something like. 'I've just heard about this new report from then Lancet [as you do] stressing how important pre-conceptual normalisation of lutealising hormones are in the facilitation of normal menstrual patterns (ie, knowing 'where you are' when you're having a GOF ). In other words, you are working in dh's own best interests. Simple!

NatalieJane · 23/02/2008 11:37

Ooooo she's good, yes LL, say whatever it was Diege just said

lardylumps · 23/02/2008 11:37

PMSL he would be confused at Lancet by the time the word menstrual came along he will agree to anything.... he he he

NatalieJane · 23/02/2008 11:39

PMSL, poor bloke

If I came out with a sentence like that to DH, he'd say "You've been on Mumsnet again haven't you?" LOL

Diege · 23/02/2008 11:40

. Part of my job is to make simple things sound so complex no-one ever questions them, so comes naturally to me

NatalieJane · 23/02/2008 11:44

I think you deserve a pay rise after that!!

kayzisbroody · 23/02/2008 11:54

If I said that to my dh he'd look at me really funny!

lardylumps · 23/02/2008 11:57

still laughing now. People must think i am a nutter sitting here laughing expecially as i am ment to be working...

I am going to get red bull at lunch time and od on it. Then when dd is in bed i am going to jump his bones.

lardylumps · 23/02/2008 12:00

kayzisbroody · 23/02/2008 12:06

GJ, I think the advice from the nurse is similar to when you come off pill - just for dating reasons. Nothing to stop you trying straight-way in other words?
Honestly all this GOPF is making me feel really tired ..on last day of af, and have asked dh if he wants a GOF tomorrow night to which he replied' uh, what's that, sounds horrible!!' Ah bless them eh..
