Hello! Wow, not only are there millions of posts to catch up on, but a new thread! Love the title . G&T at the time of your post! You must be shattered! I was thinking of you the other day actually when speaking to my friend who is pregnant with no.6. Just being nosey really, but we were thinking about big families (she wants as many as she can fit in) and was wondering about how people decide about numbers etc. Do you have a definite number in mind, or (like her) are you planning on just seeing how things develop?
Sounds like good valentine's days were had by most! The run up sounded very exciting anyway No such luck here! DDs 2&3 were conceived on valentines day, but no chance here (dh away, plus I'm APRIL!!)Had a panicky feeling about it all last night, but think that's par for the course (hopefully).
All fine here. The grumpy old codger who looked round the house has finally put an offer in (yah!) only to drop it down the next day to what we'd bartered him up from (boo!) so at the moment we're playing it cool and keeping him waiting a few days as we've got a house to see on Saturday which might effect what we can/can't accept.
Right, will try and pop in and out (so to speak) today, but can't promise as have all 3 dds at home. Normal service will be resumed when I'm back at work

NatalieJane · 15/02/2008 07:26

Good morning love bunnies OMG, I sound like crappy local radio presenter...

Kay congrats to your brother and his fiancee, how romantic!!! And wow!!! Sounds like we another live TTC'er girls The pace is stepping up now Will keep fingers crossed you both decide to go ahead this month!

LG&T, poor DH and Baby Gin, and poor you as well! Can imagine it isn't much fun down your way this week. You can have Valentines when DH is better. Any signs of anything for you yet? It must be getting closer and closer to crunch time for you

Playing, I hope DH didn't get held up in traffic or anything, had pictures of you sitting in the bath till gone midnight, all shrivelled up!! LOL

Hope everyone else had lovely evening's

Us? Well we had a lovely night, DH came in we had dinner, he had his 'Me and my Sons' time (guards that 1/2 hour with his life, quite cave man-ish!!) got the kids in bed, I got changed into, well quite frankly, I wear more in the bath when I have the flannel in my hand, and then we switched the telly off, put lovely romantic music on, pitched up on the floor, annnnnnnnnndddddd

HAD UNPROTECTED SEX 3 times

Damn shame it is the wrong time of the month......!

NatalieJane · 15/02/2008 07:34

Go on Diege, y'know April isn't a good month, March sounds like much more fun!!

Good-ish news about the house, at least you have an offer, if he doesn't raise it, and you like the house on Saturday you could try and put a lower offer in there, it seems to me that almost everyone is just taking what they can get for houses now, I think panic is starting to set in.

I suppose I had better start getting ready, can't be bothered, I am shattered, I have a very slight hang over, and it all seems pointless for last day of term, but never mind, he isn't going to get himself up, showered, breakfasted, dressed and to school!

BeMyLilBaby · 15/02/2008 08:03

NJ that was definately minxy!!

poor LG&T that doesnt sound much fun

Kay look at you go!!

my valentines night started funnily, i sent DP to collect a bed we bought offa ebay, and the man who helped him move it decided to give him a blardy 70's stylde bar!! we now have a bar in our lounge!! he reckons he's gonna ebay it,you have to love them dont ya??

we had a nice romantic curry and GOF

kayzisbroody · 15/02/2008 08:05

Im glad you all had good nights. We are probably going to go for it now. We both think having a birthday in Feb then another in March might be a bit tough.
But we're going to have a real good talk about it.
Fingers Crossed I wont get morning sickness. My friend reckons I've never got morning sickness with ds as my dh is ginger and ginger is meant to help when you have morning sickness.

Have a good day all

Diege · 15/02/2008 08:07

OMG Natalie . Love the dramatic 'break' . 3 times??? Last time I did anything like that was ion the heady days of the very start of our relationship, when we used to ring in sick and just shag all day . Now 3 times a week would be a 'good' week .
Think you're right on the house front - things are pretty dire in the market at the moment, but it's all relevant so, as you say,the less we get, the less we can expect to offer etc..We'll get there in the end! I've bought a house when I was single, so have become very philosophical about fickle buyers etc..

Diege · 15/02/2008 08:10

LOL BB at dh and the 'bar'. Bet you anything you have it in your lounge for the rest of your life . OOh Kay, so can I gather you are TTC as from now? (apologies for not keeping up!) .
Right, lull of breakfast is over, so best get going!

kayzisbroody · 15/02/2008 08:15

Yes we are!!!
On 1 condition that I'm still allowed in here while I'm pg?

Teuch · 15/02/2008 08:20

Morning ladies!

Just catching up with thread then I am off to have a look at the unanswered threads...I feel helpful this morning!!

BeMyLilBaby · 15/02/2008 08:23

kay you can stay aslong as you like on one condition...we get to hear all the news first

Diege · 15/02/2008 08:23

I think we decided we can stay throughout pregnancy in this stream? (of course allowed to post in 'due in' stream, but this of course is, and will always remain, your spiritual home and family ). Correct me if I've got this wrong anyone!
Great news I shoudl add! So,did you say you're on cd 6?

Teuch · 15/02/2008 08:29

well that didn't take long!!! there is a reason why they are unanswered...

Kay - I am very excited about this development

kayzisbroody · 15/02/2008 08:31

Yeah well 7 now I think not quite sure but I think Im going to OV on the 22nd. So I'll be trying the old wives tale for conceiving a girl by having 'some fun' a few days before and on the 22nd just to make sure.

Im really nervous though that people we know in RL will say its too soon after having ds.

kayzisbroody · 15/02/2008 08:36

BB As soon as get round to doing a test I'll tell you all so you can all be here.
I'll probably need NJ to yell at me to do it as I'll be scared.

BeMyLilBaby · 15/02/2008 08:41

Lol kay you can lead the way the rest of us will follow, i personally am planning to tell RL people that ours will be a unplanned surprise as otherwise ill getthe "you're too young!"

Diege i second your spiritual home comment he he!

teuch i had a look too, some of um are just well..boring lol

NatalieJane · 15/02/2008 08:46

LOL Diege, TBH we seem to be going back through a bit of a honeymoon period! Think combination of the kids going to bed, staying in their own beds, and staying asleep is helping

Kay..... I don't yell, just prompt OK I yell, but it is for their own good (and mine!!) 'Tis exciting waiting for someone to get their BFP, and then I spend all night thinking about what they are doing, knowing how it feels to feel like shouting it to the whole world but if you're lucky you might get to tell your DH!!!

Right school run, then I am having a day of rest, DH has promised more of the same tonight, need to gather my energy...! (He can bugger off if he thinks I am getting all dolled up again though!)

Diege · 15/02/2008 08:48

BB, I know what you mean about 'the comments'. TBH, I'm dreading telling people as I think 4 children still has the factor ('you must be mad'...'ooh, you'll be busy', really??? yawn, yawn ). I wouldn't worry about the age factor at all, in fact if I had my time again I would ahve started a family young (my mum had me when she was 16, then my sister at 17 and it was great having a young mum!)

NatalieJane · 15/02/2008 09:10

BB, even if you say it was a surprise, you will still get the too young comments. I had just turned 18 when I got pregnant with DS1 (who was very much planned) and I will never forget going down to the paper shop in the village we lived in to pay the paper bills, and there was an old lady in there, she saw my bump and asked how far along I was, I said 4 months and she said "Oh so you have time to change your mind then?" I said pardon, she said, it's not like how it was in my day, abortions were illegal.... I went home and cried. Still makes me sad even now!

I like to think someone put her kindness in the boil wash, with her manners and grace.

Anyway, what's everyone got planned for the weekend?
