Morning ladies :)

I’m currently on day 4 of cycle 1 TTC after a miscarriage at 8 weeks on 5th March.

I want to try not to miss our chance with this cycle, so have bought some ovulation test sticks, just wondered when would be best to start testing from after my period ends?

I usually have 28-30 day cycles but I don’t know how the miscarriage would have affected the cycles and/or ovulation.

I’m panicking again, so my OPKs are literally none existent…as per screenshot! And now today I’ve had the tiniest bit of light brown spotting 😩

Should the OPKs not be at least starting to get darker now?

@DHB what day do you normally ovulate? How long are your cycles?

@DHB 28-30 day cycles, just gone back and checked from your first message. Is it CD8 for you now?

You can use fmu for opks. I did with my first pregnancy and got my peak that way. Hope you get your rainbow soon x

@Emmamoo89 Ah, what’s FMU? This is my first month testing so I’m all new here haha.

@DHB ah don't be panicking, if you're on CD8 you probably won't ovulate for another week or so. I have 31 day cycles and ovulate on CD20 usually.

Keep testing and when it's getting darker/around the middle of your cycle start testing a few times a day to catch the surge. Some people have a short surge so need to test numerous times a day to catch it whereas some people (like me) have a longer surge and will have high levels for a day before ovulation xx

do you not think they’re too light for even CD8?

@DHB I know, it's frustrating!

No they aren't, here's mine. Because of my CP is cladding today as CD 10 but I think it's more CD 15 if I go with the thinking that my cycles aren't messed up x

@Angelselevenx Ah ok, so yours are really up and down too! And you have a strong CD4 like mine which is bizarre!

I hope mine pick up, because it’s so crap seeing an absolute squinter every day :(

@DHB it will get darker!! It's better to be lighter then at least you know for sure when you're having a surge as it'll be noticeable

@DHB have you spotted before this cycle? It could just be your hormones being up and down still. Keep tracking though and you'll be able to catch it.

My temps are doing almost identical to what happened last month before I fell pregnant so im hoping my cycle isn't to messed up

@Angelselevenx No, I don’t think I ever spot other than just prior to and just after AF :( So I’m probably all messed up still, I just hope I still ovulate this month.

Oh are they? :( It’s so rubbish isn’t it. Hopefully everything works out for us. What CD are you now? X

@DHB I'm going with CD15 as I started spotting on CD1. But if I take it from heavy bleeding I'm probably CD13 but to be honest I don't know. I should ovulate around Thursday which would be CD20 but I don't know what'll happen with this cycle

@DHB you might ovulate sooner than me though! I always ovulate later in my cycle. I know I'm getting a bit excited now but also trying to keep calm incase it doesn't happen.

There have been so many positive stories of BFPs after a loss but I just don't know if I'd be that lucky, how are you feeling? X
