Hey everyone!

Is anyone else trying TTC #1?

I think I’m 9DPO although my cycles vary from 28-34 days so I’m really not sure. This is my first cycle TTC so I haven’t tracked ovulation.

I took a clear blue ultra early digital test this morning and BFN, I’ve heard digitals aren’t as accurate, is that true? (The way the test was laid and how I was sat meant the ‘not’ was in the shadow so for a second I thought it just said pregnant, was gutted!)

Any advice on not driving yourself mad during the TWW? 😂

@Tempeliz I had an incredibly faint line on a clear blue this morning, probably another indent. Feeling really deflated now ☹️

@Bluebell0921 we did the exact same, every day in my fertile window, by the last couple of days we were both not into it at all! Also me too! If anyone mentions anything in the future I’m like in my head well hopefully I’ll be x months pregnant by then. I feel like I might need a month of TTC, I get so consumed by it!

@kalixxx its so hard not to be consumed by it. I feel exactly the same. Did you test again? I’m pretty sure AF is on her way I’ve got some cramping, my boobs are sore and my skin has gone spotty. All signs of AF for me.

@Bluebell0921 I did yesterday evening, incredibly faint line around the 3 minute mark, this I’m just getting indent after indent. I’m going to wait for AF now!

I’m the exact same, yesterday my boobs started getting sore and I’m coming up in spots too. I always hold onto hope that these can be early pregnancy symptoms but they never turn out to be 😅

@kalixxx would you get that many indents though? Fingers crossed it’s a BFP and AF doesn’t show.

i’m 5dpo today and since yesterday I’ve had constant period like cramps, also had a sharp pain in my right ovary area in the evening.

hoping this is all signs of implantation soon, not sure when to attempt a test though. 🙈 would love to just hold out to avoid seeing a BFN but I know I can’t lol.

I caved and tested and got a BFN 🥺

@Nmmck93 one of my only different symptoms this week when I got mu BFP was cramping/sharp pain on one side, similar to ovulation pain so fingers crossed for you 🤞🏻

@Tempeliz that's giving me hope! I go home late tonight and arrive in the early hours of tomorrow morning then we've got to start moving stuff to our new house tomorrow, then back to work on Friday so I'm going to try hold out until Sunday 10dpo if not longer. I don't think I'll take it well if I get a BFN after the amount of BD we done.

@Tempeliz @Nmmck93 thanks both. I’m 11 DPO. AF due on Sat so I’m pretty sure I’m out. Annoyed at myself for testing early.

I’m trying to tell myself it’s a good thing. I’m going away for the day with friends on Sunday and I was dreading the thought of trying to find an excuse not to drink. I’ve also got a routine MRI in June that is probably sensible to have. I still feel so disappointed though. I’m thinking I may take a break from trying in June. I’ve got the MRI around ovulation and then a staycation the week after with a hot tub and I’m just thinking I’m better off enjoying the hot tub and a few wines.

@Nmmck93 i really hope this is your month after all your BD! I remember we did it everyday during ovulation period one month and when AF arrived I was so annoyed after all our efforts!

@Bluebell0921 aww keep us updated if AF shows. It's so disheartening when it's a BFN because you proper syke yourself up for it be positive (I know I do anyways).

I'm the same this weekend with a hot tub party, but I'm using the excuse that I've drank way too much on holiday and I'll just sit and chill on the sun with a Coke Zero with everyone, I haven't drank on holidays but no-one knows that lol. I do love a good hot tub though but also going to be using the excuse to stay out of it that I need to sunbathe to keep my tan topped up and get rid of some tan lines 😂 my OH says I've it all sussed out and no-one should even bat an eyelid 🤞🏻

@Nmmck93 you do sound like you have it all sussed out and it sounds very believable! It takes the pressure off when you feel you’ve got a good white lie under your belt.

just wondering anyone had a BFP but not implantation bleeding?

i’m 6DPO and still have what feels like ovulation pain to the right side sometimes it’s more noticeable but it’s definitely there majority of the day for the last 2 days or so?
today I’m weeing alot and have a bit of lower back pain. Just wondering has anyone had similar & got a BFP: @Tempeliz i know you said about the pain in the ovary area and you’ve had your BFP X

@Nmmck93 i haven’t had any bleeding at all! I have quite light periods and I wondered if that might be why because my lining might be thinner (I am basing this off an assumption not science 😂). I haven’t even had any spotting or streaks of blood or anything like that. Just the cramping/pain. I’m 14dpo now I think and still having the pains on and off (they’re definitely milder now)

@Tempeliz yeah my periods wouldn't be heavy at all, maybe the first few hours of it being here would be a little heavy but the rest of the days it's bare minimal lol.
Aww I've another while to go yet lol, when did you test positive? I don't want to test early but I would love to do an early detection test on Sunday at 10dpo but could still be too early 😂

@Nmmck93 i was 10/11 dpo - not 100% sure of my ovulation date this month as I kind of had two peaks.

Got a faintish but very clear line on the early detection tests (both FRER and clear blue)

@Tempeliz I had two peaks also lol CD 13 & CD 14 but have been going off the CD14 but could be 7DPO instead of 6DPO.
I'll test Sunday & then maybe again on Tuesday. Or I'll just try hold off as long as I possibly can, which isn't very long going by previous months lol.

@Nmmck93 I didn't have any bleeding either and tested positive at 8 dpo, fingers crossed we'll see another BFP this month! 🤞

@kalixxx did you test again today? I found the cheap Wonderfo tests really good for early testing x

@Bluebell0921 ahhh sorry to hear you didn’t get your BFP yet, keeping everything crossed for you, there’s still plenty of time!

I haven’t tested since Monday and I’m really determined to wait until Saturday now. AF has been like clockwork recently so I’m expecting her on Friday. Will keep you all updated though! 🥰

How many DPO are you now?

@kalixxx well done you! I’m 12 DPO now. I had some spotting just now which I don’t normally get before a period I usually just wake up in the morning full blown AF so I’m having wishful thinking that it’s implantation but I think I’m just kidding myself and my body is playing tricks on me 😅

@kalixxx well done for holding out on testing. You have better will power than me. 🙈

@Bluebell0921i had that last month, I never spot and was having light pink spotting on 12dpo days before my period, I was adamant it was implantation because it was so rare & I was researching that implantation can take up to 12dpo etc. Was testing and BFN, AF was like a day late and still negative tests but was convinced I was pregnant. But AF then showed her ugly face. 😭
Have you tested or just waiting for AF to show up?

@Nmmck93 the same thing happened to me a few months ago too which is why I’m trying to be realistic that AF is probably just showing up a bit early. It’s so cruel isn’t it 😂 I caved and did a test yesterday and got a BFN. So I’m pretty sure I’m out. In a way it would just be better for AF to get a wriggle on so I know for sure.

@Bluebell0921 so disheartening; hopefully it's not AF. Apparently once implantation bleeding happens, up to 48 hours after it starts is when it should show on early detection tests; which in your case would be CD14 so maybe test then and see if AF hasn't shown?

I'm okay, I'm still getting niggles and pains in the ovary areas and pulling in the stomach; only 7DPO today but did do an ovulation test and Premom is reading it as 0.26 but not sure if that's just what it would be on CD22 or anything 😂 just don't want to waste pregnancy tests just yet until 10DPO at least lol.
