Hey everyone!

Is anyone else trying TTC #1?

I think I’m 9DPO although my cycles vary from 28-34 days so I’m really not sure. This is my first cycle TTC so I haven’t tracked ovulation.

I took a clear blue ultra early digital test this morning and BFN, I’ve heard digitals aren’t as accurate, is that true? (The way the test was laid and how I was sat meant the ‘not’ was in the shadow so for a second I thought it just said pregnant, was gutted!)

Any advice on not driving yourself mad during the TWW? 😂

@kalixxx thanks and yeah really hoping for a delay! 🙏

I'm already wondering what I could try differently next month. I might change supplement to seven seas instead of pregnacare as it seems to have lower doses. Maybe the high doses in pregnacare have caused the period delay! Might also try preseed and also not stressing so much 🤣 easier said than done

Hi all! Made it to 13DPO without testing. Not liking my chances! I’ve been having all my normal AF symptoms- cramping and emotional yesterday. My temperature hasn’t been very stable either but tomorrow morning will tell the real tale if it dives. I was talking to a friend yesterday who said “why would you waste money on tests before AF is due…if you haven’t missed it yet what’s the point” and I have to say that did hit home too! Still I don’t find it easy.

Do you all test with your partners or alone?

@Piglet34 oh me too! Starting supplements will be one for me. I’m not sure wether to track ovulation or wait a few more cycles if it doesn’t happen, feel like it’ll be another thing for me to obsesses over 😅

Let me know if you find any good ways not to stress so much 😂

@CRbear well done for making it this far and not testing!! I completely agree with your friend I just couldn’t help myself 😂 I’m going to wait now until a few days after AF is due, hopefully I manage to! My temperature has also been all over the place!

I’m testing alone as I want to find a cute way to surprise my partner!

Hi everyone, TTC #1 here too, my partner has a DC from a past relationship so it would be my first 😊 cycles a bit all over the place at the moment though!

@kalixxx I'm currently on cycle day 39 which isn't that usual for me. As soon as they seemed to get more regular we got ill and now thrown everything off 😫 what about you?

I did a test to confirm- definitely not my month! But it’s only cycle 1- would have been a miracle considering I have PCOS!

I don't think I ovulated this month from getting the horrid flu/colds going around recently. It likely means I'm hopefully about to ovulate soon I can only hope as AF 11 days late 🤦‍♀️

@CRbear baby dust for next month! My temperature has been unusually high at 38-38.5C all week, but I’m am using an old thermometer so I don’t know if that’s off because I don’t think that’s normal? 😅😂 I’ve also never tracked my temperature, not sure if it’s possible to just have a high base body temperature?

@SimplyChic oh no! Are you doing ovulation tests? Fingers crossed ovulation will be soon!

@kalixxx that does seem unusually high, I think anything above 38c is usually considered a fever temp so probs the thermometer unless you are unwell. My bbt is usually about 36-36.2 before O and 36.45 to 36.7 after O. I would recommend getting a thermometer with two decimal point places to track bbt :) do you use an app?

Hello! I'm just about to start my second cycle, I think my ovulation was at a different time than I thought last time but very annoying as I had a load of symptoms I never usually have, so was convinced I was pregnant! My period ended yesterday so it's time to get cracking now, hoping this will be the one solely for the symbolism as it was my birthday yesterday and my anniversary with DH is this weekend, so think it'll be pretty cool if we conceive this time 😁

@kalixxx no not at the moment as I'm trying to take the more casual approach, especially now my cycles have gone haywire again I feel like I'd be wasting the tests at the moment. Silly birth control 😫 do you use them?

@Piglet34 changed the battery’s because it just said it was 42.4C! Thankfully I’m not about to overheat and with the new batteries I’m only 37C! 😂 I don’t use an app but I think like you said I’ll get on that is to two decimal places and start to track next cycle (presuming I’m out for this one)

@Lheuredubebe aw it’ll be perfect timing for this cycle! But very annoying your body playing tricks on you for your last one! Baby dust to you!! Keep us updated this cycle 🥰

@SimplyChic I get what you mean! Maybe try them in a few cycles time when things settle down, although fingers crossed you’ll get your BFP before then! I’m not no, also trying to take a relaxed approach (I’m not feeling very relaxed 😅). If it doesn’t happen in a few cycles time then I think I’ll try!

I think my period has come :( blood is dripping when I use the toilet. Feel so numb. I really thought this was the month. Good luck to everyone x

Thanks for your comforting words. So the blood comes out when I use the toilet, and I have a bit of bleeding on pad from earlier which is bright red. I still can't quite believe it because I still have metallic taste in mouth, tenders boobs and has been feeling pelvic twitching movements in the lead up to today. If flow comes heavy tmrw, then I have no choice to accept I'm out this month, if not then when I'm at the gp on Monday, I'll ask for blood test

@kalixxx me too in a few more cycles. TMI but I have noticed watery in my underwear cm (it almost looks like I've peed myself!).

I only seem to notice watery cm and not really any EWCM, (assuming around ovulation which sounds about right at the moment if I didnt ovulate from illness last month) I really hope it isn't anything to be concerned about. 😳

@Hopeful89 fingers crossed for you for no more bleeding! Seems unfair our body gives us these symptoms!

@SimplyChic ah hopefully it means your ovulating soon! Since being on here it’s made me realise I don’t get that much CM in general, hope it’s nothing to be concerned about!

I did a FRER this morning and there is a very very very faint line, which I’m pretty sure must be an indent sadly. However I’m hanging on to some hope as last Friday I had some stabbing pain so possibly late ovulation so I’d only actually be 7DPO right now. AF due between Sunday-Wednesday so I’m going to try hold off testing again now 😩

I only started getting egg white CM after a few months of supplements. Weirdly enough I didn’t get any last month and did wonder if that was an indicator it wouldn’t be a successful month! We were both pretty ill and travelling. This month I’ll be attacking my DH at the first sign 😂🤦‍♀️ now I’ve gotten my period I feel excited again. The TWW is soul destroying!

@kalixxx you saying that made me feel more relieved, hopefully you are right. I've also had a lot of indents in FRER, so I dont know what to use now. Hopefully it turns into a bfp for you!

@CRbear I am taking vitamins, although I only realised I was only taking 200mg of folic acid and not 400mg like they recommended so I've switched that now! It's just well women vitamins currently is that sort of thing that you're talking about?

I'm 10DPO I know it's early to test but my excuse is that technically my period is due today...
Theres a faint line there isn't there ?!
I'm so worried that my short cycle will mean it won't stick though....

I have shown the boyfriend who doesn't trust it as its so faint and I have no one else to tell as I don't want to get anyone's hopes up. Family don't know were trying....

Top one is supposed to be stronger. But cheapo one and the second is a boots one.

Anyone else TTC #1? Just looking for TTC buddies!

@SimplyChic - I take a whole concoction of things. I keep meaning to assess what I take and see if it’s covering what a standard pre conception vitamin would. I think that they’re supposed to help with fertile CM.

@Nattalot - looks promising to me! Hope it was darker this morning.

I am not finding it very easy to think about other things while waiting for my fertile period to come round again. I can see this being a very slow year.
