Hey everyone!

Is anyone else trying TTC #1?

I think I’m 9DPO although my cycles vary from 28-34 days so I’m really not sure. This is my first cycle TTC so I haven’t tracked ovulation.

I took a clear blue ultra early digital test this morning and BFN, I’ve heard digitals aren’t as accurate, is that true? (The way the test was laid and how I was sat meant the ‘not’ was in the shadow so for a second I thought it just said pregnant, was gutted!)

Any advice on not driving yourself mad during the TWW? 😂

@BexTTC I agree, it seems everyone I’ve ever met is having a baby this year 😅 I also always want to ask, so how long did it take you? Did you do anything different that cycle? Of course I wouldn’t ask but I wanna know 😂

Hope everyone’s doing ok and we get some BFPs on here soon! I’m CD7 today so still a long way to go for me!

Its been nice to check in with updates on here. Welcome newcomers.

We've found the same about pregnancy announcements, of the 3 that we have been told about in the last month at least 2 were after a year of trying which surprised me, because other peoples announcements seemingly come out of the blue. Its reassuring though.

I messed up my ovulation testing and we didn't DTD much, so unless it's one of those backwards logic things where because I've been less focused on it somehow it will work I doubt it will be our month. I started taking vitacre preconception vitamins (not much more research than they contain folic acid and were cheap on amazon) but my husband got excited about it containing inositol which he'd seen some positive stuff about online.

@Nmmck93 im so sorry to hear about your story and the operations you had. I am crossing my fingers for you! Thanks for all the pics.
I stared using new ones (elevit pronatal) as of yesterday that have quite a lot of everything, don't have omegas though

aww they do have a lot of the good stuff in it.
I was suggested omega 3 for endometriosis so I googled it and basically summary being from a site online states
“Prospectively recorded omega-3 supplement use was associated with an increased probability of conceiving.”

so I jumped straight to the chance of taking it 🤞🏻

So girls, i tests this morning at 12dpo and BFN.
just holding out for AF showing up & I deffs have the usual AF symptoms so should be here in 2 days.
im gunna say I’m out this cycle, but will remain positive and keep going.

lets gets some BFP soon 💜

@Kaspery8 I’ve asked those I’m actually friends with and it’s surprising it’s taken 7-10 months for most, definitely reassuring!

Fingers crossed the relaxed logic works for you, I’ve read so many story’s of people saying they months they thought they had no chance is the month it happened!

@kalixxx thank you, but the tests where all blazing negative didn’t even have to squint to see how negative it was lol. I’m not mad or disappointing which I’m surprised about. But will see if AF shows up.
have seriously tender / sore boobs today & I usually do get this when AF is about to pop by. 🙈

@kalixxx that's reassuring to hear it does usually take people over six months! This is only cycle 4 for us so I guess still so early in the grand scheme of things I just feel so impatient!

3dpo today so still a while before any answers come my way haha

@Piglet34 thank you, the last 12 days actually flew in for me in fairness and I’m not actually disappointed as was quite sceptical on having a December baby as such. Just gunna wait to see if AF arrives on Thursday & look forward to next cycle.

Hi girls, AF is suppose to start today!
tests are still negative & no sign of AF. She’s usually like clockwork that the minute I wake up and wipe Its there.
but I have also started a lot of new vitamins and seven seas trying for a baby which I know some people find that messes up their cycle. Hoping this isn’t my case and she’ll show up later today or tomorrow, but tests are 100% negative.
just what to start next cycle.

Morning @Nmmck93 , Ino what you mean about a December baby, I feel a lot more chilled this month because of that which is quite nice really! Obviously would still be over the moon if it was our cycle but is good to feel more relaxed I guess! Hope you find some closure today with your cycle xx

@Piglet34 yeah I'm a December baby myself and my partner is November. In my family we have a lot of birthday november, December and January, I would have been over the moon if it was my cycle.
I find the tracking part of TTC stressful finding my peak. I actually found the TWW alot more relaxed.
I go on holiday on May 14th for 10 days, would be nice to find out we're pregnant just before going so we can live in our wee happy bubble for 10 days ourselves.
But just waiting as I say for AF to show up. Quicker she comes & goes the quicker I can get into tracking ovulation and start the next cycle.

@Nmmck93 I know what you mean, the timing DTD part is so hard, at least in the TWW you don't have to actually do anything! How are you doing, did AF show in the end? Aw yeah that would be amazing to get your bfp before holidays 💕

@Piglet34 yeah AF showed up yesterday. So just a waiting game for her now to disappear and start tracking again.
what part of your cycle are you on?

@Nmmck93 ow sorry to hear that, but nice to start fresh with a new cycle I guess, really hope it's your one for bfp! I'm on 7dpo and my usual light brown spotting started yday like clockwork 🙄 so that already makes me feel like it's unlikely! I might actually test tomorrow morn, know it's so early but I just kind of want to haha

Aw I'm not mad that she came though, but would love to have my BFP before I go on holidays and enjoy being in our little BFP bubble ourselves before we let family know.
Aww I was insanely patient during my TWW which I was surprised at but I feel like I won't be as patient going forward. If you want to test, go for it but don't be sad if it's negative because it might still be too early and you never know until AF shows up. 💜 fingers crossed for you.

@Nmmck93 sorry to hear that AF arrived, fingers crossed for you for next cycle.
I'm at 12dpo and have had a couple of things I think are new to me, sharp nipple pains and some pinkish discharge. Which could be implantation bleeding or could just be irritation from a long day on my bike. I'm glad we are away from home atm or the temptation to test would be very strong, AF is due Friday, going to try and hold out till then.

@Piglet34 Did you do a test in the end? Have everything crossed for you that this is your BFP month!

@Nmmck93 Owh sorry to hear AF arrived! ☹️ well done for being so patient though, try not to get into the early testing habit if you can 😅

@Kaspery8 Ahh sounds promising, do you usually get any discharge? Fingers crossed for you!

I started OPKs for this cycle yesterday and got a flashing smiley yesterday and today, on Wednesday I’ll be CD14, so I was a bit surprised to get one yesterday? Anyone have any experience with Clear Blue ones? How many days of flashing smileys do you usually get before a static?

@kalixxx hey! Yeah I did test yday at 8dpo and bfn but not surprising really , definitely was too early 😂 I think I'm going to try to hold out until Friday now 13dpo. I've never done the clear blue OPKs but from what I read from others on here it sounds like you can have a up to a week of flashing smilies before the static one :)

@Kaspery8 ooh interesting! Hope you get your bfp when you do test!

@Piglet34 I read the other day that the most common day for implantation is 9DPO which I’m hoping will keep me away from testing so early this cycle! So fingers crossed you’re just too early! Ooo good to know about the clear blue OPKs!

I’m in that nice chill phase in the run up to ovulation, wish I could stay this calm all the time 😅

I see a few of us are in the dreaded TWW, hopefully we see some BFPs soon!

AF finally showed up after being 14 days late and now ready to start testing with OPKs again, feeling excited to start testing again even though it drives me crazy at the same time 🙈

Also on the topic of how long it's taking people to get BFPs 2 of the people I know who are expecting have said it was roughly 3 months for both of them but I know average is a year, just remember ladies each cycle is a cycle closer to our babies 💕

@BexTTC omg 14 days late, that would have driven me insane!

that’s a lovely way to look at it, each cycle is a bit closer! (Hopefully a lot closer and the next cycle is it for all of us😂)

I’m feeling really confident this cycle I’m not sure why, maybe it’s because we ideally didn’t want an early January baby as we’ll have to cancel our new years trip so it would be typical to happen this cycle, obviously I’ll still be over the moon if it does happen!

@kalixxx I did drive me crazy, more frustration because I just wanted AF to come to start the next cycle but officially into Cycle 2 now so can start to track everything again 🥳 and also remind myself it is only cycle 2 and to be patient (I'm not a patient person lol)

I have the exact feeling, like a feeling of calmness and confidence that it will happen, everything is crossed for all of us 💓

I've been home one day, today is 14dpo and I caved whilst bored wfh and took this boots early test. Please tell me I'm not going mad and there is a faint line here? If so the unusual pink spotting (lasted 2 days), sharp nipple pains and low blood pressure were my non standard very early signs.

@Kaspery8 I can definitely see the line! 💜 seems like that's a BFP & a massive congratulations.
