Hey everyone!

Is anyone else trying TTC #1?

I think I’m 9DPO although my cycles vary from 28-34 days so I’m really not sure. This is my first cycle TTC so I haven’t tracked ovulation.

I took a clear blue ultra early digital test this morning and BFN, I’ve heard digitals aren’t as accurate, is that true? (The way the test was laid and how I was sat meant the ‘not’ was in the shadow so for a second I thought it just said pregnant, was gutted!)

Any advice on not driving yourself mad during the TWW? 😂

@kalixxx im going to try hold out as long as I can. But feel like I’ll cave monday / Tuesday lol.
I’ve woke up this morning with no voice and bad chest & a bad face breakout. So todays not going to be a good day. Feel like I’ll fall asleep standing up. Did not see being Ill during my TWW but would just be my luck. 🙈

@Nmmck93 I think Monday/Tuesday is an acceptable amount of waiting time! Oh no just to make the TWW a little bit worse, I hope you don’t feel too bad!

Still no AF for me and my cervix is still really high and soft but I’m trying not to get my hopes up as I think tracking your cervix can be super inaccurate. Think the only way I could be pregnant is if I ovulated even later than I thought. Just want AF to show up now if I’m not 🙄😂

@kalixxx aw i will try my best to hold out until then. 🙈 I can't even take any pain killers because I don't want nothing to hinder my TWW lol.

Oh, have you tested again? I wouldn't even know how to track my cervix, wouldn't know what I'm feeling for & the difference.

I'm just bloated and like a tightness round my stomach & abit of white CM. I am only 6DPO. I've made plans for the weekend to keep me busy so I try take my mind off it until Monday / Tuesday.

@Nmmck93 It’s good that you’ve made plans to keep you busy, I always find that really helps! And I admire your commitment not even taking painkillers!

From my extensive Googling your cervix will be high during ovulation and then either drop down and feel hard when AF is due or remain high and feel soft, on Monday mine was low so I assumed AF was coming but it’s now really high and definitely soft! Trying not to get my hopes up though. Tested with a cheapie yesterday and BFN. So yeah unless I ovulated reallyyyy late I’m most likely out 🙄

@kalixxx I know. Just lots of fluids and sucking sweets to help my throat lol.

Oh really? I might have to do a google search in how to check it and where to feel etc.

Have you been using OPKs to check for ovulation?
Premom app determined when I was to ovulate but I actually ovulated 3/4 days after what was predicted.

Have you taken any new vitamins or supplements for that cycle that could hinder late ovulation or late AF?

I used OPKs and thought I had my peak about 14/15 days ago and then stopped testing, so unless I didn’t ovulate then peaked again. I was ill mid cycle so that peak was late anyway, all so confusing! 😂

I think I might be getting some cramps so this could be the start of AF, I’ll keep you updated! 😂

@kalixxx oh, I was abit obsessive because I got my peak but continued to test 3 days after just to make sure that was my peak. 🙈

@Nmmck93 cramping has continued and it’s a lil pink when I wipe so that is me 100% out ☹️

I stupidly tested with early clearblue on 7dpo and don't understand what was expecting only to find bfn. I decided not to test until Monday it only makes me sad. why oh why do we do this?
No symptoms, only sore boobs which is normal for me in this part of cycle.
So sorry @kalixxx but if af is here it only means a new round heheh.

@dormicumema im also 7dpo with you. I’m trying my best to hold out until Monday / Tuesday.
don’t give up yet, 7dpo is still way too early to test, just keep your thoughts positive and don’t let this get you down.
my partner has hidden my pregnancy tests by my request because I know I’d be an early tester & I don’t have an easy access to go grab one in the shop, although I was in boots yesterday and found myself looking at the tests but they didn’t have FRER which im thankful for because that’s the only one I’ll test on as so many people suggested them.

my symptoms are basically AF symptoms as I always get the week before AF - only difference I have is about of CM which is unusual for me.

fingers crossed we both get out BFP 💜

@dormicumema 7 DPO is super early!! I was actually reading something the other day that said most common time for implantation is 9 DPO so definitely don’t feel disheartened there’s still plenty of time! Fingers crossed for you!

@Nmmck93 I should get my partner to hide the tests as well, although I’d probably just go out and buy more 😩😂 keeping everything crossed for you too!

@kalixxx oh today I’m struggling and tempted to take myself for a test but I’m only 8dpo so i know it wouldn’t show.
but yesterday I got really bad ‘lightning crotch’ & during the night I was up using the bathroom which I never ever do & also drinking as I was super thirsty.
mother symtoms I’ve had has just been similar to PMS symptoms. Not implantation bleeding or spotting as of yet. 🙈

Hi guys, today I tested with the same clearblue early dpo 11, again bfn so I think I'm out :( having slight cramping as af is coming... Hope I start new cycle soon so I can try again.
@Nmmck93 how are you doing? When are you planning on testing?
@kalixxx are you using opks, did you start temping?
Guys, what vitamins are you most happy about? I feel like iron supplements in mine made my period super early so I stopped taking them, switched on some cheapo supplements for immune system that have follic and c, x vitamin though I would like to find something better.
Also, decided im gonna start eating healthier and exercise regularly.
I feel like stress is a huge factor when it comes to conceiveing.
I love tracking my cycle but I also worry if we are not having enough bd... Goes two ways I guess
And also, do your partners take some supplements as well? 😀

10dpo atm with absolutely no symptoms so probably out this month.

Been trying on and off for about 7 months but properly testing and using opks since January. DH wants a baby but doesn’t like the pressure of talking about days and dates and all the rest of it so nice to have people on here to talk to x

Not out until AF comes though so fingers crossed for you 🤞🏻 I was taking seven seas trying for a baby but I think they messed my cycle and period wasn't coming properly. Am now just taking folic acid and vitamin D boots ones, hoping things are normal again this cycle!

@Piglet34 & @dormicumema i haven’t tested yet, I don’t know how I’ve held out this long.
i’m 11dpo, today I have such strong cramps though, but feel like AF cramps. Every other symptom I had last week has disappeared so im not very hopeful. Will try my absolute best to hold out testing.

@dormicumema i actually started a thread on vitamins not that long ago and got so much advice on what to take.
I did start Seven seas trying for a baby last week and then added on extra vitamin D & Calcuum & K vitamin & then Vitamin C aswell.
once I get home this evening I can upload some pics of them for you if you wanna look into them.

@dormicumema i was also advised in omega 3 which I picked up due to having endometriosis and it’s advised to take omega 3.

Hey everyone. I’m TTC our 1st, 37 so no spring chicken. Cycle about 8 I think but I’ve lost count! I’m around 4dpo- if I ovulated this month. I got a positive OPK and CB static smiley but no clear BBT shift. I’ve never had a possibly anovulatory cycle since starting TTC, so I’ve ordered an at home progesterone blood test to take in a couple of days. I’ve had blood tests done a month or so ago and all is ok. I’ve had 3 chemicals since December. I’d really love a Christmas baby 🥲 AF due next weds but no doubt I’ll be poas this weekend…!

@Nmmck93 i would be thankful for all the typs thanks :) I was just wondering how was your endometriosis diagnosed? I had a prior to starting ttc a vaginal ultrasound and pap smear done (that is a standard checkup where I live) and everything was a ok, however I have quite bad periods regarding to pain which can be endometriosis as well... I heard it was hard to diagnose it

Hi Ladies, sorry I've be AWOL I got a bit down being frustrated that AF was 2 weeks late yet again but she's finally showed her ugly head so can start looking forward to trying again! Sorry I hear there's been no BFPs and everyone is also waiting for AF to arrive, anyone else noticed everyone else seems to be having babies like crazy this year!? Feel awful for feeling sad when I see an announcement 😞

@ttcat37 you still have time for DC 1 and 2 and 3 don't you worry :))
I honestly only started temping this month and using FF App it's quite good :)) it is the best way and for free to determine o day

I’ve been struggling with this lately. Seems to be happening all around me and I’m trying so hard to be happy for my friends because it’s amazing but still selfishly feel a little sad and then feel guilty about being sad. Vicious circle 🙃

@BexTTC yeah, my dear friend got pg on cycle 1... I'm like buying all these tests, vitamins and measuring all kinds of shi* and nothing, nada 😂 maybe we should do experiment one month with just having sex for fun and see if it works like that

@dormicumema ive attached pictures of all the vitamins and before I bought them I just typed them into google and ‘trying to conceive’ and it was all highly recommended on there too.

as for being diagnosed I spent a lot of time back and forth to a&e with severe stomach pains mid cycle. I was being threw to the side and being told ‘it’s just mid cycle pains’ or ‘suspected appendicitis’ - I went back to the doctors one day with severe pain & he rushed me straight to hospital with again suspected appendicitis- I was 17 at the time & my mum just told the hospital we weren’t leaving as it was too severe so they ended up referring me to a gynaecologist & from there it was basically just getting a surgeon on board after I got an internal scan & the surgeon brought me for multiple checkups and told me endometriosis basically can’t be diagnosed until they for a Laporoscopy (poor spelling I apologise) and a month later I was in and he done the surgery and found the endometrial tissue and removed it. I was fine for around 6 months and then was put forward for another surgery. Last one was about 9 years ago, but I started having flare ups recently again but nothing that is too bad.
