@MrsCristiano aww man. Deffo busy week to keep distracted.

@LuckyMoonstone hahaha that made me laugh! Us short cycles girls

@bunnykins123 😩😩 ugh WHY does Mother Nature do this. She fucks with us.

someone is due a positive soon

MrsCristiano · 01/08/2022 19:39

@Indianna2006 I'm just so happy I'm not spotting anymore (last cycle was awful) so if I need an extra month I'll allow it xx

LuckyMoonstone · 01/08/2022 19:44

@MrsCristiano @Indianna2006 I never wanna hear anyone complaining about ovulating early 😂😂 I’m only joking I know it can come with it’s own implications

Indianna2006 · 01/08/2022 19:47

@LuckyMoonstone 😂😂 oh I know. Honestly don’t know how you do it waiting so long. Mine is always bang on CD13 pretty much.

but took me sooo long to fall had I of had longer cycles god I’d of been waiting a century. I fitted in 11 cycles in 9 months. As that’s how long it took.

so I don’t think I have a hope in hell anytime soon of falling 😩😩 but do believe sometimes it is just luck right. 🤷🏻‍♀️

LuckyMoonstone · 01/08/2022 19:54

@Indianna2006 11 cycles sounds like a lot but then 9 months doesn’t sound like as much at all. I’ve just realised this is only my 5th cycle but it’s been 7 months! Mad isn’t it.

MrsCristiano · 01/08/2022 19:58

@LuckyMoonstone oh I know lovely ☺️ sometimes it's brilliant then sometimes it feels like the cycle is all over too quickly 😘

bunnykins123 · 01/08/2022 20:05

@LuckyMoonstone @MrsCristiano @Indianna2006 thanks ladies! I'm just fed up with it all now, I thought we did well with timing 🙄 I used both OPKs and CB 🤷‍♀️ I usually either spot on 13dpo/14dpo and nothing yet for either of those days so if I get AF tomorrow then technically I won't be late but won't have had the spotting which I always get. I am also getting loads of cm now and had lots of cramps the past few days. Boo. I'll be okay but I'm just done with it. Why is it that some people only need to look at their partners and they fall pregnant?!

OP posts:
LuckyMoonstone · 01/08/2022 20:08

@bunnykins123 isn’t having lots of cm now a good thing? Or is that an AF sign for you? I still don’t think you’re out yet…

LuckyMoonstone · 01/08/2022 20:10

Does any else get pregnancy symptoms with ovulation? 😆 seriously when I’m around ovulation I feel sick, really tired, noticeable taste/smell changes, it’s so crazy. I’ve noticed it so many cycles now, it can’t be a coincidence. I guess it’s the same kind of hormones isn’t it

MrsCristiano · 01/08/2022 20:15

@LuckyMoonstone I usually do but didn't this month. Normally get a stitch in my side. But this month only a tiny bit of pelvic pain so just hoping I actually did ovulate I'll know soon enough 😩

Astar21 · 01/08/2022 20:24

@LuckyMoonstone yes I had a few waves of nausea during ovulation and just after ovulation I felt so tired.
4DPO CM has gone really white/creamy now. Trying not to symptom spot yet 🫣

Indianna2006 · 01/08/2022 20:27

@LuckyMoonstone it is actually mad. Yeh 10 cycle of BFN and disappointment was a killer though. To then finally fall and lose it anyway. Ugh. Such a slog.
so different for everyone isnt it on different cycle lengths etc. we just keep plodding on 🤞🏼

@bunnykins123 oh I know. But you can do everything right. Hit all exactly right times. We always hit everything. Was bang on for 10 cycles before and nothing. Not even a hint of any line. I think sometimes a lot of it is luck. I think I read 1st month ttc has highest rate of getting pregnant. Most likely because first time sperm has been allowed to enter through the cervix and so your immune system isn’t as used to it and doesn’t attack it as fast. After then the body knows it’s an invader after those few times and attacks it an kills them better So they have to fight the battle to not be killed by our immune system and swim fast and get to the tube.

There’s so many crazy stats about. But I got a leaflet from my nhs fertility clinic which helped me rationalise. (This was when we had tests before my mc)

An it said 1st cycle had like a 25% chance of pregnancy due to above reason. And after that was like 5% per each cycle. And when you added that up it made sense to get the 85/100 pregnant by a year ratio.

cycle 1 25%
cycle 2 30%
cycle 3 35%
cycle 4 40%
cycle 5 45%
cycle 6 50%

for example. Who knows tbh but it’s just what my nhs fertility leaflet said from my local hospital. And so after 6 months only 50% are pregnant really. And by cycle 12 it’s like 85%. But helps you realise how it takes some time and how that is normal and we just have to waaaaaait but it sucks!

dunno if that helps anyone but if I’m going crazy I think okay let me look back at that and remember each month is a month closer again 👶🏼

LuckyMoonstone · 01/08/2022 20:46

I’m glad it’s not just me then!

@Indianna2006 that’s made me feel slightly better lol

bunnykins123 · 01/08/2022 21:11

@LuckyMoonstone it's neither here nor there. I didn't have much all cycle though which was different for me. I'd say it's your hormones that are making you feel a bit off!

@Indianna2006 awh thanks for the info! That does make me feel better. I also had a good chat with DH and he's supportive. I just feel really sad that it just isn't happening. He did tell me I shouldn't compare to other people, which is true - but it's hard. Anyway, rant over. Thanks for the support 💖

@Astar21 4dpo here too. Not an smidge of CM here🙄

mummatara · 01/08/2022 21:43

@MrsCristiano I'm not feeling too bad a lot better than Saturday!

It's just taken me 2.5 hours to get DS to sleep like wtaf 🤷🏼‍♀️ I've come to bed coz I'm seriously grumpy and hungry but it's too late to eat now 🙄

bunnykins123 · 01/08/2022 21:46

Sheeeet I've just read online that preconception multivits lengthened peoples cycles and gasp stopped some ladies from ovulating. I started taking these this month so actually this may explain my dodgy cycle. Maybe I didn't ovulate ☹️

Is anyone else taking any preconception multivits?

OP posts:
bunnykins123 · 01/08/2022 21:47

@mummatara been there tonight! DD is currently lying next to me in our bed...

OP posts:
mummatara · 01/08/2022 21:51

@bunnykins123 that was my next step though he started taking up all the room so have desperately tried not to do it if at all possible he kicked me in the head last time 🙄 oh gosh what have they put in them! I've not heard of them I've always used pregnacare my cousin gave me her leftovers from 1st pregnancy and I'm too lazy to shop about so have carried on with those

Margo34 · 01/08/2022 21:53

@bunnykins123 nope not for me, I tried the Seven Seas TTC multivits back in 2019 when I first started and they totally messed with my guts, swapped to another brand and the same again. They made me feel so un-eager to DTD, bit counterintuitive! Just Folic Acid and Vit D for me now ☺️

Margo34 · 01/08/2022 21:54

My toddler took ages to go down to sleep tonight too @bunnykins123 @mummatara must be something in the air!

MrsCristiano · 01/08/2022 21:56

@mummatara glad you're feeling a bit better!

@bunnykins123 I read that about pregnacare but I'm still taking b12, folic acid, vitamin d and q10 xx

LuckyMoonstone · 01/08/2022 22:10

@bunnykins123 I tried pregnacare and they totally messed my cycle up! Kept spotting all the way through it. Used them for two cycles and got the same thing in both, stopped spotting when I stopped taking them

Aprilsunnyday · 01/08/2022 22:26

Thank you so much for the answer @FfayeN, much appreciated on the helpful advice. I have a private fertility clinic I have got consultations with but it does seem the only blood test they do are AMH ones, (and I have done it with them), it could be that I was not talking to the right type of private clinic then. Let me try to have consultation with my newly switched GP, as my old practice was too busy since a year ago, (recently NHS seems very understaffed everywhere), new GP seems at least able to provide some slot to talk which is big improvement.
I would like to get to the answer if there is one, meanwhile i understand a lot of the times, miscarriage cannot be traced to root or treated. Ideally we all want to know what is going on with our body and not knowing and doing a lot of guess work is the uniqueness about getting pregnant i suppose! >-<

Thanks again for the kind advice!x

bunnykins123 · 01/08/2022 22:31

@LuckyMoonstone I'm SO annoyed at myself for starting them! The more I look, the more I can see it messed peoples cycles. I'm not actually sure I O'd this month. Are you taking anything now? I actually think the more I throw at this, the more it's having a negative impact 😩

@MrsCristiano I used to take exactly that, but being the 'proactive little beaver' that I am decided to try the preconception tabs (Tbf I did conceive DD off them) - I didn't expect my luteal phase to be 15 days minimum (that's if it comes tomorrow) 🫠

@Margo34 it's really muggy I think. She's actually been quite savvy as she's lined herself up next to the fan in bed 🤨

@mummatara omg lol, I get that all the time! And in the ribs. I think if your body is used to it then absolutely continue, I think it's more that I'm adding bits in here and there and my body clearly doesn't like it. Tempted to strip back to basics next cycle (whenever it arrives 🙄)
