@LuckyMoonstone 🙌🙌

bunnykins123 · 30/07/2022 08:48

@LuckyMoonstone wahooooo! Great news!!

@Skylark1990 symptom spotting is a fun game but really at 10dpo, if you're feeling anything, it'll most likely be from rising progesterone. Is tender breasts something you get every month?

@MrsCristiano lol I think if you ever need to make change again, may I suggest 'mrscup'?! 😂

@pangolin84 I'm sorry you're having stressed at work, it sucks when you're dealing with all this stress alongside work stress. Have you thought about doing some meditation to help with the stress? I was getting so stressed and started a few months ago before I go to bed (I think it helps tbf) I defo notice I feel more relaxed about stuff even if I'm stressed overall (does that make sense 🤨)

@TheBirdintheCave I wouldn't worry too much, as the other ladies have said, it only takes 1 wee little spermie to make a baby! Why can't our bodies give us a sure sign that O is imminent so there is no confusion!

Great news that your OPKs are rising @LuckyMoonstone. Try and get those other tests in today to make sure it's not missed! If you've been managing to DTD this whole time you deserve a medal!! Although @MrsCristiano suggestion of MrsCup could work too 🤣.
@Skylark1990 I went to Coventry and started the CERM trial along with full bloods, is this your local RMU? I had an automatic follow up appt scheduled for 4 weeks after the initial one. Prof Quenby was lovely, I felt so bad withdrawing from the trial as she genuinely sounded disappointed. Everyone I dealt with there was superb xxx

Skylark1990 · 30/07/2022 10:04

@bunnykins123 I used to get tender breasts in luteal phase before I had my daughter, but since having her I haven't - I've only had them when I've been pregnant, the last 3 times that ended in MC. So I feel it's a telling sign I'm pregnant! But ofc this time it might just be different... I'm Breastfeeding so it's very noticeable when my nipples get super sore!

@FfayeN that's great, I am also considering the cerm trial but they've paused it in Coventry and so I'd need to go to Oxford. She said she doesn't think I have endometritis, because after my DD birth I had buckets of antibiotics due to various things. But I feel I'd like to rule it out. How come you pulled out of the trial? Did the bloods come back with anything? Sorry you have had multiple losses too 💔😞 I'm actually not in Coventry but it's only an 1.5 hour drive or so, and I spoke to a Tommy's midwife and she told me to ask to be referred as they take from all over if you've had 3 miscarriages.

Skylark1990 · 30/07/2022 10:06

Plus I've been given an appointment within a month of my last MC which is epic timing! I'm so glad as my local RMC would have been over 3 months waiting time at least, they predicted.

@LuckyMoonstone glad you're seeing a rise! I never got along with the premom app, is that what you're using? But I've always used the cheapie opks I think it's the brand one step so not the premom brand. It's so frustrating when waiting for that peak! X

LuckyMoonstone · 30/07/2022 10:08

@FfayeN well we had a break yesterday by using the cup & syringe method 😂 but we should DTD tomorrow if I’m gonna get a peak today hopefully! Wont be tonight as we are going out haha

Indianna2006 · 30/07/2022 10:49

@LuckyMoonstone wooo! I knew it. Bet your rise is now on its way. Hallelujah.

how are you ladies with staying hydrated and drinking water? I am generally terrible. And I take vitamin E to help with EWCM anyway but read as it majority made up of water. It will really affect it if your hydrated.

so I’ve been on a mission this month. Tracking my sleep making sure I’m getting plenty and being really hydrated. So going back to like basic needs for the body.

I’ve noticed my EWCM start much earlier and more of it this cycle so that’s interesting. Last month I only really got more and lots of it like CD12/13 and DH had gone away for the weekend by then.

CD10 today and I seemed to have quite a lot yesterday so hoping it helps these sperm swim!

Astar21 · 30/07/2022 14:58

Anyone else feel really sluggish during the TWW?! I feel another level tired today and IBS bloating/cramps flared up 😩 Feel like I could just sleep for a week now 😂

@Indianna2006 sounds promising for you! I always try and drink lots of water aswell as grapefruit and pomegranate juice. I had over a week of EWCM this cycle! Plus it's been my first cycle taking omega 3 with vitamin E

LuckyMoonstone · 30/07/2022 14:59

Just scored (lol) a 0.72, feel like I’m playing darts

Indianna2006 · 30/07/2022 15:06

@LuckyMoonstone it’s on the rise! Knew it was still coming. Maybe higher later tonight like 7/8pm?! 🤞🏼

MrsCristiano · 30/07/2022 15:21

So for me lack of sore boobs during the TWW is a pregnancy symptom. 2dpo no sore boobs. I'm in such denial like aren't I😂

pangolin84 · 30/07/2022 15:22

@mummatara My last luteal phase was only 7 days but it was the cycle immediately after the MMC so I’m hoping it’s just because of that. It happened with my first MC too and it eventually sorted itself out. I’ve read that cycles can be affected for up to 6 months afterwards, but have ordered a home thyroid test anyway to make sure that’s not the reason.

@Skylark1990 Yes in my research when I was going through my MMC I found some info suggesting later implantation is associated with a greater risk of miscarriage. Apparently if the embryo has chromosomal abnormalities it’s less likely to implant/take longer. I think mine was a late implanter because the pregnancy test was super faint a couple of days after AF was due. The little bean still managed to hang on in there though 😢.

@bunnykins123 Yes I need to find some way to decompress. I’m hardly sleeping and it’s taking its toll. Can you recommend anything for meditation? It’s not something I’ve really tried before. I used to do regular yoga and I think that helped so will try to start that up again.

MrsCristiano · 30/07/2022 15:32

@bunnykins123 I have never used said 'cup'!! I cannot be called Mrs Cup! I'll be MrsRyanReynolds next 😅

Indianna2006 · 30/07/2022 15:40

@MrsCristiano 😂😂 you can’t be Mrs Ryan Reynolds because he’s already mine 😅 hands off haha.

@pangolin84 YouTube has lots of meditation stuff on there. Can play the clips and listen with headphones phones before bed. I find that helps calm my nervous system etc. and also doing deep diaphragm breathing. Sound silly but it does work for me. Helps reduce stress levels. Anything to help us cope with this ttc slog.

whose idea was it to only get one chance a month to get pregnant. I want to make a complaint 😂 makes the process sooooo long. Bored of waiting for ovulation day an mine is always bang on same every month. I don’t have long cycles.

you all get medals who wait much longer!

Cheetocat · 30/07/2022 17:13

It only happened for around two days just before my peak but nothing since. It was so weird, hopefully it was just the release of a big healthy egg.

LuckyMoonstone · 30/07/2022 17:22

@Indianna2006 absolutely on track for a full on positive tonight! However I am out for the evening now, so I’m just gonna assume it would’ve been positive tonight and watch what my bbt does- following my usual pattern it should dip one last time tomorrow and then start to rise on Monday 👍

MrsCristiano · 30/07/2022 17:53

@LuckyMoonstone have a good night!! So pleased for you to peak at long last. You defo deserve a medal

@Indianna2006 aww😞 okay he's yours..never fight with a woman called Indianna 😂

I'm having a wine and off to consider other usernames.

FfayeN · 30/07/2022 18:00

@Skylark1990 the downside to the trial is certain months you can't conceive. I was waiting on other results anyway so had the biopsy and then chose to get the treatment privately rather than chance getting the placebo. The tests other than the Endometrisis and my thyroid (which I am treated for anyway) were normal, so with that and the knowledge that the last baby had Tri15 we are now ready TTC again! I can't believe how quick they were with the appointments and it's worth the journey too. Good luck with them ☺️.
@LuckyMoonstone hope you continue to get a rise this evening! Exciting news!
@pangolin84 good luck with your test results, the silver lining is that if it does come back with something thyroid related it can be treated. After my 2nd MC my cycles went to 17ish days, now they're 30ish with the right dose of thyroxine. The down side is I have to wait an hour for that first morning coffee 🙄 xx

mummatara · 30/07/2022 18:10

Hey ladies just catching up bbt confirmed ovulation so officially 3dpo been feeling sorry for myself all day nose has been like a tap and I generally feel rubbish...I better not be catching covid for a third time one of my work colleagues had it last week 🙄

@Indianna2006 I'm terrible for staying hydrated I have to have a giant bottle and if I manage at least half I feel proud but it still technically isn't enough 🙈 I do drink a lot of herbal tea so that does count at least 😂

@LuckyMoonstone finally they are going in the right direction 💪🏼

LuckyMoonstone · 30/07/2022 18:59

@MrsCristiano haha thank you 😂 feel happy to ovulate and then the crushing realisation that it’ll probably amount to nothing 😩

Blue2020 · 30/07/2022 19:14

I’ve started cycle 3, cd7 but I ovulate on ~cd18-20. Dh had covid at the start of the month and I now have what I am assuming is a throat infection. I have low expectations this cycle but we will still try.

mummatara · 30/07/2022 20:42

I'm sat here waiting for my bloody covid test to develop I'm having serious line eyes 😂 I swear there is a vvfl 🙄 not the test I want to see a positive on 🤣

mummatara · 30/07/2022 20:43

Do covid tests have indents 🤣

MrsCristiano · 30/07/2022 21:01

@mummatara oh nooo I don't think so if in time limit 🙈
