@Chellooo I'm with @MrsCristiano on this one. Usually with me, the static face stays and I can't retest. Was it blank when you used it this morning? Looking at your chart your temps look like they might be going up today so you may have O'd yesterday. I actually hate temping I find it really confusing.

Chellooo · 17/08/2022 09:33

Thanks ladies, yeah I use the older clearblues so the static only stays for like 3 mins... weird tho as before MC I got 2 days of statics, then it dropped to one after ... now it seems back up to 2?

Don't wanna miss my window, but really just wanna go to sleep tonight 😂

mummatara · 17/08/2022 10:15

Bugger @FfayeN sorry about the BFN. Go and enjoy the tasty French wine

@Chellooo my temp rises over about 2/3 days after ovulation. I dip the day I ovulate then it rises slowly

Astar21 · 17/08/2022 11:15

@Indianna2006 congratulations 😍🌻 that's a great line, so happy for you!! Will definitely look at getting some of those tests for future.

@FfayeN sorry for the BFN. It's so disappointing. I didn't let it break me this month like I have in the past. Forcing myself to stay positive and hopeful. I go on my jollies next week too, so plenty of cocktails and fizz will be enjoyed during fertile week! ☀️

@calimc83 I hope you're doing okay lovely! Can't believe your 9 weeks already! The weeks are flying. Are you going to have an early scan or wait?

@Luna57 good luck in the TWW 🤞🏼 it's impossible not to over analyse every symptom! Slowly becoming an expert in CM 😂

MrsCristiano · 17/08/2022 11:39

@Chellooo ah I have never used the older version of clear blue so that makes more sense. My peak last month was 2 days so I could be a longer peak xx

FfayeN · 17/08/2022 12:11

Aw thanks ladies 😌. Doctor has upped my thyroxine to get it down a bit too with no arguments so that's good news xx

LuckyMoonstone · 17/08/2022 12:19

Well I’m on CD9 today, AF finished at the weekend. I’ve started using opks and temping but I’ve got no idea when ovulation is due. Could be next week, could be in 3 weeks. Feeling a bit depressed about TTC again, and another month of not knowing what’s going on, I don’t want to try anymore I’m so fed up 😔

MrsCristiano · 17/08/2022 12:28

@LuckyMoonstone I'm feeling you, CD7 for me. It takes up so much headspace

bunnykins123 · 17/08/2022 13:20

@MrsCristiano @LuckyMoonstone I feel your pain, ladies! Hopefully, your cycle will have regulated a wee bit this month @LuckyMoonstone

@FfayeN great news! Fingers crossed that does the trick 👍

@Chellooo I actually think you've Od looking at your chart. I think it happened yesterday but defo add another attempt in if you think you have the energy for it!

Margo34 · 17/08/2022 13:37

Sorry you're still feeling down @LuckyMoonstone . Is it worth not charting/tracking this month and just enjoying time with your partner, and DTD whenever it strikes you or you feel up to it? Might take some pressure off and give you a chance to get out of a funk 💐

LuckyMoonstone · 17/08/2022 13:48

@Margo34 maybe, but then I’d feel like I missed out on a whole month! I’m already on track to be at least a year behind where I should have been with my second child, every month makes a huge difference. Which is just adding even more pressure and desperation 😕

Daisy155 · 17/08/2022 13:48

@FfayeN i hope the thyroxine works good luck and sending all the luck to everyone I love this thread I am so excited for you all. I am also just watching the thread I can’t ttc yet I have to wait until 6 weeks and we made a decision to ttc in October/ November waiting for my c section to heal! I have started my folic acid and drinking my thyroxine religiously. Please those who have BFP and also everyone ttc could you please recommend me some good prenatal vitamins? Thank you

Littlegoth · 17/08/2022 14:00

Please can I join? 40, TTC #2. I had 3 losses before APS diagnosis, then a successful pregnancy in 2020, and have just had another loss this week. I’m under the recurrent miscarriage clinic already and they will be following up with me in a few weeks with recommendations for next time, so I’m on hold until then.

Indianna2006 · 17/08/2022 14:25

@Pancake92 haha oh really thanks. My friends always call me the wise ole owl of the group but think I’m more just crazy lady waffling at people 🤣🤣

@LuckyMoonstone keep plodding on hun 💪🏻 Can be so hard to get out of that pit those once your in it.

I will not be joining any pregnancy boards! Neither downloading any apps. Any time I’ve done that it all goes wrong. Only time I didn’t I got my DD. Stupid but superstitious.

I shall quietly observe you lot continuing to get BFP’s from the sidelines whilst I hope mine sticks 🤷🏻‍♀️🤞🏼

FfayeN · 17/08/2022 14:50

@Daisy155 I really recommend It Starts with the Egg, it's not a long read and I took parts of it over others, but it's a good start point. I take Folic acid, Vit D, Omega 3, CoQ10. Some others but they're specific for my hashimotos.
@LuckyMoonstone it's so hard this journey isn't it, I totally understand the feeling of not wanting to not try. Is there anyway you can get away for a few days? Have a break from home? Sometimes this can just refresh our mindset and change the scenery from reminders of our MC experiences or feeling like you're in a rut at home. If not perhaps a nice trip to the cinema or dinner out? Something to escape reality 😘

Welcome @Littlegoth, would you mind saying what APS is? Xx

MrsCristiano · 17/08/2022 15:53

@FfayeN @Littlegoth I'm going to make a guess at anti phospholipid syndrome?

MrsCristiano · 17/08/2022 15:58

@Littlegoth welcome lovely I'm so sorry for your losses..💔 this thread is a great support xx

Im guessing that because it can cause stroke. When I was younger I had a stroke (fully recovered now) but they checked my blood for that.. it was caused by the contraceptive pill in my case and a tiny hole in heart.

LuckyMoonstone · 17/08/2022 16:21

@FfayeN not this weekend but maybe next weekend when DS is at his nans for a sleepover. Not much time to get away but we will have a nice evening out somewhere I’m sure. It’s something small to look forward to anyway

FfayeN · 17/08/2022 16:28

@LuckyMoonstone absolutely. Even if you have a change of scenery make it a special time for you and DH. Sometimes it's lovely to escape and I've also sometimes put a ban on the topic of babies or TTC so that may help take your mind off it even just for a night to reset.
I find somethings really triggering, for example at least once a week I get told by my 2 step daughters that they'd love me to have a baby and when will I have one 😭. It's getting quite hard to answer with any positive sentiment now.
You have to make time for you when you're navigating all this anxiety and turn of emotions every couple of weeks.
You're awaiting an appointment with the GP very soon aren't you? Did you send off for the thyroid test in the end? Or have I got that totally mixed up with someone else? (My memory is shocking since my first MC, a side effect that is not well documented) xx

Chellooo · 17/08/2022 16:44

@bunnykins123 thank you! It's soo bloody hard to keep up with these things, ya end up over complicating it! I'm hoping he can sort himself out an I'll just jump on at the crucial moment 😂 the romance eh?! 😂

MrsCristiano · 17/08/2022 17:02

@Chellooo sounds about right🤣🤣 good luck 🤞

LuckyMoonstone · 17/08/2022 17:47

@FfayeN yeah next Tuesday, really hope they offer me some help. I did order a thyroid test kit but then realised yesterday that I still hadn’t done it and wouldn’t get the results back before my appointment anyway so I just sent it back

FfayeN · 17/08/2022 17:55

@LuckyMoonstone oh no! It does sound like maybe you need a night off or some time to focus on you. It's a shame you didn't do it as you'll still have to wait for results from the GP. Make sure you are prioritising yourself in this journey, I know that's easier said than done with a busy house and jobs etc. Hopefully the GP will work quickly and give you some answers xxx

LuckyMoonstone · 17/08/2022 19:13

@FfayeN I know but they’ll do it for free and I could’ve done with the 50 quid back 😂

FfayeN · 17/08/2022 19:20

@LuckyMoonstone that's true!! Perfect for a nice little treat next weekend 🥰
