@MrsCristiano @Chellooo you don’t normally get one person from NI on one thread let alone three 😂 EPU had offered me that too but when I said about my faint positives I could tell by her tone when she said IF it’s still positive next week, I just knew she knew it was over for me but didn’t wanna say. I had asked my doctor before EPU for a blood test cos you kind of in your head hope it’s the hook effect but I literally had to go through the receptionist twice cos the doctor didn’t wanna speak to me or anything and just panned me off to EPU

MrsCristiano · 16/08/2022 20:07

@Luna57 mine took AGES to drop so I was getting really strong positives. So I went from a collapsed sac at first scan (I knew it was over from the bleed) to a smaller bit of tissue at the last scan. Took like 2 midwives, one sister and a consultant to confirm it. So dragged out but I have a little picture of the sac to look at (that's really sad isn't it) ☹️

FfayeN · 16/08/2022 20:15

@calimc83 I'm sorry, I did scroll back through but we chat ALOT on here and I can no longer filter the posters 🙈. Aw I really hope it's all ok, I totally get the worry of joining another thread so stick around here 🥰 it'll be nice to have some positive stories and successful pregnancies xxx

So I had my thyroid check about 10 weeks ago and my TSH was stable at around 1 something following some dosage change from MC. I had it tested Friday and results came back at 3.3 today. Now I'm thinking this could be a sign just not yet showing on a PT. Humph 😤. It could also be completely unrelated and I'm now just having issues with my thyroid 😂 x

calimc83 · 16/08/2022 21:13

@FfayeN hey no worries. Don't think I've posted in around 4/5 weeks tbh. I just love following everyone's journeys. Im just praying 🙏 that this pregnancy is successful xx

Luna57 · 16/08/2022 21:24

@MrsCristiano thats so heartbreaking. It’s so good to have like minded people here to talk to though because other people who haven’t experienced a loss would never understand it. I’m sure that wee picture is very sentimental to you though

Margo34 · 16/08/2022 21:36

@Luna57 @Chellooo @MrsCristiano I'm now reading all of your posts in my head in my terrible interpretation of an Irish accent 😂

MrsCristiano · 16/08/2022 21:37

@Luna57 it's makes it feel real. I ended up telling my mum but she's like oh well..so this thread is such a good support ❤️ Good luck with your TWW im on seduction duties tonight don't fancy my chances DH in bad mood 😒 only CD6 but I usually ovulate early 🙏

mummatara · 16/08/2022 21:38

@Pancake92 thank you lovely ❤️🤞🏼

@calimc83 I joined a April board and I'm struggling with it and have been thinking king of coming off of it. There's a lot of people on it so it moves extra fast and it feels like a lot of people are panicking on it a lot which is totally understandable as there is a lot of anxiety about being pregnant but it's making my anxiety a lot worse than I want it to be right now 🙈 I'm trying really hard to try and enjoy being pregnant and positive 💕

Margo34 · 16/08/2022 21:41

@mummatara I'm on it too, and I'm one of those l panicky people 🙈

MrsCristiano · 16/08/2022 21:43

@Margo34 🤣🤣 hope your spotting is settling down 🙏🙏

@mummatara I struggled on the January thread too. Then I miscarried but couldn't really find the words til the end, the birth threads are so busy xx

mummatara · 16/08/2022 21:57

@Margo34 I totally get it because let's face it it really is a hard time esp after loss and talking to everyone and finding out others experiences really helps and I thought it would help me too but I think it's done the opposite. I've tried to comment and join in etc but I really didn't realise how much reading peoples comments on it would effect me so much.

@MrsCristiano they really are I naively though it would be similar to our lovely little thread here ❤️ I would say offer DH a beer to loosen his bad mood but I don't think that's such a good idea 🙈

MrsCristiano · 16/08/2022 22:03

@mummatara oh you are funny 🤣🤣 I'm only CD6 so if it doesn't happen it's not the end of the world..no peak yet so not worth 45 minutes 😂

Luna57 · 16/08/2022 22:05

@Margo34 i love listening to people trying to do our accent 😂

@MrsCristiano ❤️

MrsCristiano · 16/08/2022 22:37

@mummatara I think at the beginning I commented that I had a previous loss and someone was really weird saying that oh you need to have something bad happen to be noticed. I kind of just watched the thread after that. It made me feel horrible. Anyway April thread may be different xx hormones run high in pregnancy

mummatara · 16/08/2022 22:49

@MrsCristiano bloody hell that's awful 😳 I don't blame you for not commenting after that! Everyone in there seems nice I just get a panicky feeling from it maybe because it's all so early and new once that parts over and it settles a bit it will probably be different. They sure do don't they 😂 I'm not a crier in the normal way with DS I would have random bouts of crying over nothing really 🤷🏼‍♀️ DH was like wtf 😂

TheBirdintheCave · 17/08/2022 00:05

@Indianna2006 Woohoo! Congratulations! :D

FfayeN · 17/08/2022 07:54

BFN on a FRER this morning at 12dpo so think I'm out. Was going to be a miracle if it happened this month but I still hoped. Now just to wait for AF and did copious amounts of wine in France x

bunnykins123 · 17/08/2022 08:38

@FfayeN oh no, I'm so sorry to hear it was a bfn 💕 on the plus side, think of all that wineeeee! A result of 3.3 is still well within normal range though, have you spoken to your GP about the result?

@Chellooo @MrsCristiano @Luna57 I'm defo now reading your messages with a NI accent too!

@Indianna2006 that's such a juicy line, congratulations!! Good to know there are other sensitive tests out there that don't charge ££££ for the privilege!

Ladies can I get your opinions on my chart again - sorry I'm new to this bbt stuff... I've gotten another static smiley this morning but no sign of ovulation on the chart (I think)... really don't have it in me for another few days of dtd, walking like John Wayne as is! 😫

FfayeN · 17/08/2022 08:43

@bunnykins123 🫠 moving on to next month. Yeah it's just odd as it was perfect at 1 a short while ago so it shouldn't be fluctuating that much. My gyno said 1-2 was optimal for conception so awaiting a call from the Dr to discuss a small increase x

FfayeN · 17/08/2022 08:45

@Chellooo it could be that you have a long rise, I'm not sure how the CBs work. My rise used to be 12hrs at most but now seem to be 2 days long. Could you take a day off DTD and go again tomorrow? xx

MrsCristiano · 17/08/2022 08:55

@FfayeN sorry for the bfn lovely 😒 I hate them..drink all the wine and have an amazing holiday 😘

MrsCristiano · 17/08/2022 09:12

@Chellooo see this is what confuses me about clear blue. I though once you had the static it stayed there for 2 days and you stop testing ?

DH came to bed at 1.15 last night. I had given up tbh but he woke me getting into bed and we DTD. On a normal day I would have been in a right huff being woken up. Not this week. I'm not working today thank god

Indianna2006 · 17/08/2022 09:12

@FfayeN sorry for BFN. Fingers crossed for next month 🤞🏼 And deffo enjoy your holiday xx

theblueflowers · 17/08/2022 09:24

I think @MrsCristiano is right @Chellooo, once you get a static on a clearblue it will stay that way for 48 hours and then reset, so there is no point in testing again after you get the first one.

I chart, and it takes at least 3 days to confirm ovulation, so your temp could actually be showing that you ovulated as it is rising. It's frustrating to wait I know! Maybe dtd one more time?!
