Thanks for all your kind comments everyone, it does help to vent here. @Margo34 and @mummatara the last two were a new box from Amazon so I guess it could be a rubbish batch. I’m going on holiday on Saturday so if no AF on Friday I’ll use my one remaining digital. Think I’m going to avoid testing early in the future 🤣
I’m just imagining if I’d not tested early this time and got today’s line as my first result I’d have been happy 😳 although it still seems very faint for 14 dpo…

Cheetocat · 10/08/2022 18:13

CD3 here again, now in my third cycle since the MC. My hormones are so out of wack, I have been crying so much, pimples erupting all around my chin & nose too. I'm turning 30 next month, I truly never thought I'd still only be trying for my first by now.

TheBirdintheCave · 11/08/2022 08:30

I had some red bleeding when we got home from D&D last night so I figured AF had arrived but its just brown this morning. I hope it starts properly today as the sooner it starts the less likely the next one is to conflict with my holiday 😂

LuckyMoonstone · 11/08/2022 08:49

Told DH last night that it hadn’t worked this cycle, he was really sad. He said he really thought we’d got it this time. I didn’t realise he’d been thinking about it so much. I feel awful, I always forget that he feels all this too 😔

TheBirdintheCave · 11/08/2022 09:00

@LuckyMoonstone Aww I'm sorry :( The whole TTC experience is so hard to deal with sometimes.

bunnykins123 · 11/08/2022 09:39

@TheBirdintheCave ah that's great! It's always good when your body actually does something helpful 😂

@LuckyMoonstone it's so true, I think we forget how much it impacts them too. DH said similar last month to me too, it breaks my heart. How are you doing today? I hope you're ok 💕

@LuckyMoonstone also had the same reaction from DH this week. He said we just keep trying 🤍 It definitely affects them more than they let on. Even when we time everything exactly right, it still doesn't guarantee a BFP.

Margo34 · 11/08/2022 10:46

@LuckyMoonstone sending hugs. It's easy to forget about how TTC can be impacting our partners, isn't it? I still haven't told mine yet that I tested positive.

Worrying so much about possible MC still. I've had my blood test results from July back now (before I got pregnant this cycle) and they've flagged some screening results which I've Googled and it comes up citing "Spontaneous and recurrent pregnancy loss are common complications" and "The strongest predictor of pregnancy loss in the first trimester [...] predictive of pregnancy loss. These data suggest that treatment could be considered, even in the absence of history of pregnancy loss...."

So maybe it's not a progesterone issue I have after all. Got my GP appt tomorrow so a lot to discuss.

I'm going to bow out of Mumsnet for a bit while I get my head together

😭

MrsCristiano · 11/08/2022 11:29

Just started bleeding ☹️

FfayeN · 11/08/2022 11:31

@Margo34 Sorry to hear this and I hope your appointment tomorrow gives you some positive news and it's treatable quickly for this pregnancy 💜
What's the result that's come back if you don't mind sharing?

Totally understand taking a step back from MN but we are all here to support you should you want to return. Take care and look after yourself 😘 xxx

FfayeN · 11/08/2022 11:32

@MrsCristiano oh no! Is it definitely AF? Xxx

LuckyMoonstone · 11/08/2022 12:14

@MrsCristiano oh no 😔 are you ok?

@bunnykins123 I’m alright thank you for asking lovely. It really did break my heart, we had a cuddle and I think he even had a little tear up 😢 but I told him I’ve got my docs appointment because I don’t think things are right

LuckyMoonstone · 11/08/2022 12:16

@Margo34 have you not? When do you think you will?

MrsCristiano · 11/08/2022 12:25

@LuckyMoonstone @FfayeN yea woke up this morning full of energy and I knew it was coming. Glad I didn't waste a test this morning. I'm ok xx

mummatara · 11/08/2022 12:53

@LuckyMoonstone I think they really don't show it as much as us ❤️ big hugs it really sucks

@Margo34 so sorry that must be hard news to hear. I hope the gp can help with your questions and there's a solution they can find for you 🤞🏼

@MrsCristiano oh lovely that's so rubbish 😢

MrsCristiano · 11/08/2022 12:54

@Margo34 hope you're ok lovely xx

Clairel77 · 11/08/2022 13:32

Hi everyone. Im new here. Driving myself crazy so thought I'd join a forum thread.
I had a miscarriage recently at 9 weeks. I've had one period since and next is due in about 1week. Day 21 atm, was usually around 26day cycle before MC. I normally get a menstrual migraine 1/2 days before AF, dont suffer with them except that one a month. I've had one for 3days now. Anyone else's cycle shorter after MC I thought AF must be showing up early but hasn't upto now. I was hoping it could be an early pregnancy symptom but only one I have and done a test this morning just to see and BFN. Wishful thinking hoping I'd get lucky I suppose xx
Sorry for the mega message xx

bunnykins123 · 11/08/2022 13:45

@MrsCristiano oh hun, I'm so sorry 😞

@Margo34 oh no, that must be hard to receive results that have left you with questions. I hope you get some answers soon 💕

Can I vent? I registered with my GP for reoccurring miscarriage clinic in Feb. Took 4 months to get appointment through and had blood taken beginning of June. Followed up last week as nothing had come through. Today I got my letter saying they will discuss my results with me in late October. Wtf. Contacted them to check this wasn't an error, it's not. They've confirmed my results are back but to wait another 3 months means potentially, the results will be invalid as things change a lot in 3 months. I don't really know what to do. Advice please, I don't really know what to do 😞

@bunnykins123 Omg that’s an insane amount of time! I don’t have any advice as I don’t know what the procedure is but I am sharing your annoyance!

bunnykins123 · 11/08/2022 14:36

@LuckyMoonstone I know, right! My trust is under Dr Shehata (not sure if you've heard of him but he's the bees knees that deals with immunology for reoccurring miscarriage) so basically the wait seems to fair exceed other trusts. I'm so upset. I've waited so sodding long for these tests and now I'll have to pay £££££ to go private as I can't wait another 3 months for them to tell me I have issues. Sob.

OP posts:
FfayeN · 11/08/2022 15:31

@bunnykins123 is there anyway to request your results? If they have them they should be on your NHS record which you can request full access to. It may give you a starting point to know if anything else is wrong. To have the results and not then be able to know what they are for such a long time is totally unacceptable in my opinion. How are you meant to TTC and know that would be their advice without the results! I would try every avenue and request a call back ASAP. Either way I am sure you can see the results, it's just whether you could interpret them or take them to a private clinic, Dr S accepts NHS tests within a certain period at his private clinic in any case!

FfayeN · 11/08/2022 15:32

@bunnykins123 that was a bit of a rant I hope it made sense 🤣

LuckyMoonstone · 11/08/2022 15:46

@bunnykins123 I have heard of him actually! I guess that’s the downside then 😕 but it’s still a ridiculously long time to wait just for what will basically be a conversation! I would pay private if I really had to as well

bunnykins123 · 11/08/2022 17:05

@FfayeN I've tried, they said they won't release them on the app or to me until they have been reviewed. Which is total nonsense really. They also won't let me have them for someone else to review them. The annoying thing (which I've pointed out to them!) is my letter says 2-3 weeks from tests being taken so 3 months is a massive increase! If I'd known that at the time, I would have gone private. Do you know if legally you can obtain them? I'll have to decide how hard I go at it 😂

@LuckyMoonstone it's so true. At first, I was so excited to get all the tests done under him but now, I realise mines taken so so much longer than any other trust, I'm feeling a bit hard done by. Sorry just expected to have my results by now so feeling a bit poo (I'm also sure I have abnormal results!)

@bunnykins123 I hope there’s something they can do about it for you if you do speak to them again
