Think perhaps I have maybe lost the plot..🙈🙈 but it’s almost kept me going with the BFN’s…thinking well there still growing. They haven’t opened yet!

😂 sounds balmy now I say it out loud and I’ll prob be distraught come 2 weeks time lol

but alas at least I will have some pretty sunflowers in my garden if nothing less hey 🥰🌻🌻

Thanks everyone. I am feeling weirdly calm about it and trying not to get too excited. These little lines are so precarious. It’s nice to have a little hope though.

Ok I don't know what to think now im just torturing myself really and need to tell someone because DH will think im a nutter if I try and explain it to him and you all don't mind a bit of poas crazy😆 so I took another test with smu and there was also a faint line which I thought looked similar to FMU so chucked it in the box and went off in my slump I've just had another look and my SMU test looks as good as the 9dpo test the FMU test looks practically negative now the faintest of lines if you catch it in the right light kind of light. What do you all think? it was kind of hard to photo our bedroom lighting is so dull 🙄

@mummatara yes I think I can see it. And say it does appear to look similar. Not great lighting in your bedroom though no to be able to see 100%

did you take your 8dpo test in the morning? As it’s been 48 hours it’s hard to tell if it’s darkened much. Mine have always darkened by a lot in 48 hours. But obviously you’re not me as also mine are more like 12-14dpo. Whereas you’ve got early lines like 8-10dpo. So I’m really not sure how much it should change in that time when it’s that early.

arrrghh so frustrating. Maybe wait out another whole day to see for certain progression. I think if you test tomo your gonna torture yourself if the line just looks the same.

@Indianna2006 no 8dpo was afternoon. I'll take another pic in the daylight but I think your right if I give it until Monday that might be best or even if I can wait that long a few more days. Ive never had a BFP this early looking back with DS it was 11dpo and just looking at the pics they didn't progress really either though I only tested for a few days once I got a BFP on a first response the second pregnancy I was already late for AF. So maybe I just don't progress quickly 🤷🏼‍♀️ who knows that's for listening to my crazy brain chatter 😆

@mummatara I don't understand. Those bottom 3 tests are clearly positive. Is this a previous pregnancy. I'm very tired 😅

@MrsCristiano sorry fat fingers 🙈 yes this is from my son the app I use does some terrible "intelligent recognition" 😂 I was just looking back at old tests and I noticed they didn't get much darker over the few days I took them either so I'm going there is hope for me yet 😂 how you feeling today?

@mummatara maybe hold off on testing for the next 2 days (1 if you can't bear the suspense) and try then with FMU?

Another question for all you ladies - do you drink during your TWW?

I usually do (the odd glass I'm talking, or share a bottle of wine with DH across a Fri/Sat/Sun), obviously stopping as soon as BFP, but I'm wondering whether I shouldn't and wondering what others do?

@mummatara I got a 4 pack last cycle. Not sure how many I have left. Defo at least one (they are hidden away!) it's soo hard to wait! I want to do one twice a day til AF arrives (or doesn't arrive) in a perfect world ☺️

@mummatara ahhh yes see maybe slower progression is normal for you then.

yes see wait it out then. Don’t test tomo if you can avoid it. Test Monday morning. And hopefullly that will help clear things up 🤞🏼

@Margo34 Im not a huge drinker so not doing it in the tww doesn't bother me and I do try and avoid though if it was easier to have a glass than trying to explain in social situations I would. I did share a bottle with DH the night before I found out about our surprise 🙈

Back 😂 that would be lovely shame they are so costly 🙄 I saw a YouTuber do a video two tests a day from 7-21dpo on frers so she could show everyone her progression lines 😳 must have cost a absolute fortune

@Margo34 Ive had 2 glasses of Prosecco. It was negative this morning 🤷‍♀️

@mummatara I've 4 early tests left 2 FRER and 2 clearblue 🤔

@Margo34 yeah I do and always have done. Obviously I stop when I get a positive. A bit of alcohol isn’t going to touch an embryo that’s just implanted. Alcohol can impair fertility but that’s heavy prolonged use.

@mummatara argh that must be so frustrating, especially as when you get a line it’s a good line! I don’t think you’re out. I just think it’s still early and it’s only strong enough to show in some wees and not others!

@mummatara From what I’ve read the concentration of HCG is so low at this stage that it’s almost impossible to see progression from one day to the next. Also, although they say HCG doubles around every 48 hours it’s not the same for everybody and it’s really not linear at all! So I’d say this isn’t unusual and try not to worry.
If you look at the normal ranges for HCG according to weeks of pregnancy they are huge.

My advice, as others have already said, is to wait as long as you can (says the woman who has just ordered another box of FRERs 🤦🏼‍♀️).
