Hi all :) I am here to watch this thread to give me hope after loosing my son Leo. I can’t try yet I have to wait for 3 to 6 months to ttc again due to c section but I can’t wait to start this journey with you all. I am 34 and I want to be pregnant by next year before my 35th birthday. I wish you all the best and excited to see your journey’s too xx

LuckyMoonstone · 07/08/2022 01:37

hi @Daisy155 thanks for joining the thread and telling us your story, lovely to hear about your precious baby Leo, the babies who don’t get to join us are still our babies and we love them so much. How are you feeling about TTC again?

mummatara · 07/08/2022 06:12

@MrsCristiano eeek 4 tests 🙈 how long do you think you'll mange before you try again?

@LuckyMoonstone yes it sucks esp as that 9dpo line was good 🙄 the tests I did on 10dpo also came from a different box so different batch could have something to do with it too I'm staying quietly optimistic and I've already managed to get rid of FMU thanks to my 4am internal alarm 🙄 just need to get through the day which hopefully won't be too hard as we're going to a christening today

@pangolin84 haha love that at least you have to wait for them to be delivered 😆 I did have a little read yesterday and if my level was say only small at 10 if it doubles that's still only 20 which would still throw just a faint line but your right the level range between weeks is massive 😳

@Daisy155 sorry you find yourself here lovely 💕 but these ladies have been the best support it's lovely to chat to others that understand and going through the TTC process together makes is so much easier to process

bunnykins123 · 07/08/2022 08:48

@mummatara @pangolin84 good luck for testing again today ladies! I really hope to see some juicy progression 🤞

@Daisy155 oh I'm so sorry to hear your story, I hope you are keeping well. Best of luck on your journey 💕

@Margo34 I do. But my theory is that before these early detection tests (I.e our parents 'era') they continued to drink not knowing they were pregnant and all was well. I do think that as long as you're not knocking back a bottle of wine every day in the TWW then it's ok. My life has already been massively put on hold due to all this and I'm not sure I could sacrifice wine in the TWW (I've gone back to drinking 2 coffees a day too because, well sod it, I live for coffee and booze 🤷‍♀️)

@MrsCristiano mmmm Prosecco. Good choice!

@Indianna2006 I really like what you say about continuing to try, I feel the exact same way. You put it so well 💕 We will continue until the day I'm told I'm no longer popping out eggs. If that means having a second at 45 (god help me, let's hope that's not the case!) then so be it.

Hi @bunnykins123 @mummatara @LuckyMoonstone thank you for your kind words yes I am really looking forward to beginning this journey again and reading through this thread now xx

mummatara · 07/08/2022 09:43

@bunnykins123 so far I've managed to hold off testing today I'm going to try again tomorrow if I can hold out the day that is 😂 we're going to a christening in about 20 mins so hopefully I should manage 🙊 woke up to heartburn again and I've had a lovely pimple breakout which whilst I sometimes get one or two I'm generally not a spotty person other than the time I was pregnant with DS when I had constant spots 😳

bunnykins123 · 07/08/2022 10:24

@mummatara the christening will be a good distraction! Well the symptoms defo sound promising! Got my fingers crossed for some really juicy lines 🤞

MrsCristiano · 07/08/2022 11:50

@mummatara I'm trying to leave testing until tomorrow too! We can do this!!

@bunnykins123 I'm with you. I don't think an odd glass of wine or coffee will hurt at the mo. As soon as I see a positive I stop. Prosecco makes me a truth teller. I was at a bbq last night and people weren't ready for my truths 😂😂🙈

LuckyMoonstone · 07/08/2022 12:02

@MrsCristiano hope you haven’t got the beer fear this morning after all your truth telling 😅

LuckyMoonstone · 07/08/2022 12:04

@mummatara good job you have a distraction for today, I bet you get a nice line tomorrow 🤞

6dpo now, it’s going soo slowly 😅 hope this week goes fast. I’ve got a lot to do so that should pass the time. Forgot my ovusense last night so don’t know what my temp is today, will have to wait until tomorrow

MrsCristiano · 07/08/2022 12:05

@LuckyMoonstone oh I do🙈 DH was out in garage I had to bounce up to him and say are u still speaking to me. He said yea..you left ME alone. In my defence one of the women was wearing a see through dress 😂

MrsCristiano · 07/08/2022 12:24

Welcome @Daisy155 ❤️

pangolin84 · 07/08/2022 14:00

Welcome @Daisy155. I’m so sorry to hear about your son Leo. x

pangolin84 · 07/08/2022 14:02

@mummatara The problem is the tests arrive too quickly these days. Going to have to cancel my Amazon Prime 🤣
Will test again tomorrow probably and hope for a darker line 🤞

mummatara · 07/08/2022 16:23

Christening has been a good distraction today we've just got home and I don't feel an urgent need to poas 💪🏼 I reckon I can last until the morning easily. I don't feel like AF is coming either so that's good. I think that's SMU test from yesterday has put my mind at ease a little bit I'll do my one test I have left for tomorrow and as long as it isn't stark negative I'm going with it then I think I'll wait until the end of the week to do one more and I'll call it quits it costs too much to keep buying tests and maybe just causing unnecessary worry 🤷🏼‍♀️ hope you're all having a lovely Sunday

LuckyMoonstone · 07/08/2022 17:40

@mummatara 🤞🤞for your next test, I reckon you’re gonna get a good line!

TheBirdintheCave · 07/08/2022 18:07

@pangolin84 Congratulations! :D

Pops85 · 07/08/2022 20:13

Hi everyone, hope it's OK to post. I miscarried in July at 9 weeks. Trying for our first. These forums were a great comfort to me in those 9 weeks and since, so thought I'd join in.

Previously had an approach of 'let's see what happens' but now trying more seriously. It's been 4 weeks and no positive OPKs yet but I suppose patience is my best friend just now!

Fingers crossed for a positive outcome for everyone 😊x

ready4rainbow · 07/08/2022 20:43

Hi everyone.
I've seen these threads going on for a while and if it's ok would like to join if it's ok this far in?

I've had 2 mmc's this year. At 6 weeks and 10 weeks - found at 12 week scan.

Worst time of our lives.

Waiting for first period after surgical management...
Anyway, I had a small amount of blood friday so expected period to come, it hasn't yet. So I tested with fmu today and got this, anyone see a line? Dtd 19/07 so does this mean it can't be a bfp?

My heads in a spin!

🌈 TTC after miscarriage thread 9 🌈💕🤞⭐️
MrsCristiano · 07/08/2022 20:53

@ready4rainbow welcome to the group no one wants to be part of😊

I used this exact test yesterday and I feel like that tiny mark in the middle of the test makes you believe there is a line. This happened to me too. Hopefully there is! I'm just a bit sceptical of these now and will test with a clearblue/FRER tomorrow. Fingers crossed 🤞🤞 it gets darker xx

mummatara · 07/08/2022 20:59

Hi @Pops85 & @ready4rainbow sorry you've joined our crappy club 💕

I'm not sure I see a line the whole way up do you have a frer you could use in the morning? Could it be residual hcg from the previous Mmc? It took me 6 weeks to get a negative test

ready4rainbow · 07/08/2022 21:00

@MrsCristiano thank you- sending you lots of luck for tomorrow!

I actually think if there's anything there it's a chemical as the dates don't quite work imo.

It's such mixed emotions getting a bfp after loss x

MrsCristiano · 07/08/2022 21:19

@ready4rainbow the only reason I'm testing tomorrow is because I'm not at work. I feel like I'll need time if I do get a bfp to sort my head out. Not confident though. A little cramping tonight nothing too annoying though x
It's so hard!!

Loz365 · 07/08/2022 21:47

Hi everyone!
I'm another newbie joining the thread. I had a MC last week at 5+4 weeks, I have PCOS and we've been trying for 18 months. Got pregnant on our 2nd round of letrozole, first round didn't work so infertility clinic upped the dose and it worked. Utterly heartbroken to have miscarried but we've decided to start TTC again straight away. Bleeding seems to be settling down now so hoping to get back to tracking BBT and OPKs this week.

I'm surrounded by family and friends who either have babies or are expecting, which has been really challenging but I've found the support on MN invaluable over the past few months! Wishing and praying for positive outcomes for us all x
