@mummatara oh no so sorry hun. It’s so hard. But yes I do think early testing sometimes picks up these things otherwise we’d be none wise about it. They do frequently happen but doesn’t make it any easier cos the excitement is already there! It’s a crock of shit! Hugs you’re way. Hope you’re okay.

Re age gaps for everyone. I totally get where people are coming from. You have an idea in your head and it’s sad when that doesn’t come to light. But honestly it won’t matter once it happens.
says me whose had to tell myself this over and over. I had accepted we couldn’t have another baby. An so to an extent I feel very blessed to even think we may now get one. As I had health issues which prevented it.

I would of liked a 3 year age gap. 3.5 max. But we didn’t even start ttc until my DD was 3 years 4 months!! Because we couldn’t. And it’s held lots of heartache for me. But glad to still be on this journey even though I’m still here 15 months later.

my DD would be 5 plus now. Which is way beyond anything I ever wanted and I always said I’d stop at 5. But I won’t and neither will many of you. Because the want for a baby doesn’t go. And at the end of it all. None of it matters. She will be the best helper and be sooo excited and really understand what’s happening. An I think that’s lovely. She will be a perfect second little mother hen for me. So I’m now embracing what I have. Which is solo time with DD to really nurture her. And solo time with another baby to give them equal as to what I gave DD 🥰🥰

however it works out. Is all you will ever know. And once they are here. None of us will care. But I totally understand the upset and frustration. I’ve gone through it for 3 years since she was 15 months but no one can choose and pick. They are a blessing whenever they arrive. But it is bloody sad and shit sometimes.

@mummatara hope you're okay 💕 hoping it's just a blip and you're not out yet, as it's still early days. Could your FMU have been too diluted?

I caved and did a FRER this morning 9DPO 😩 BFN. Regretting doing it so early now.

@Indianna2006 my DD2 was so clingy that we couldn't even contemplate TTC until she was 3, and then I spent a good few months mustering up the courage to have the conversation with DH...and then the surprise BFP came, which kind of forced the conversation!

@Astar21 no we really are all not having a good Saturday 🙈 it was FMU and looked very strong so I don't think it was too diluted unfortunately ☹️

I have zero willpower it turns out. I can’t have a test in the house and not test 😆
10 dpo. I see a vvfl that came up within 3 mins and it does look pinky in real life but of course is so faint it may just be my eyes playing tricks and is just an evil indent. Don’t really want to order more tests but…

I know it's early yet. But I'm impressed with myself. I did it looked at. No line then binned it. Normally I'm looking at it in all lights but it was clearly negative so not torturing myself

5dpo and my temp is still going up. Normally at 5dpo it levels off or comes down slightly. Don’t know why I’m trying to imagine this means anything different 😂

@pangolin84 I don’t think that looks like an indent at all. It seems quite thick to me and I’m sure I can see pink! 🤞🏼 Keep my fingers crossed but I think it looks genuine to me.

i have had some indents. But tbh I’m really not sure if they are genuine v v early lines and it just amounts to nothing and periods comes anyway. Really not sure anymore. I do think these FRERS are very sensitive and can almost detect eggs trying to implant that don’t get very at all. Which is just part of the process. But this early testing is a devil 🙈🙈

i got negative on frer 9dpo. Retested 12dpo and got a BFP. And my 9dpo frer was white as a sheet. Blanker than blank lol.

tbh I’ve never managed to get positives 9 dpo. Mines always blank. Earliest I ever got was 11dpo first pregnant. Maybe a slightly later implanter.

@mummatara you must of implanted early to get such early BFP. Like 6dpo. But so hard to see it fading. I guess all you can do is retest tomo or await out to see if period comes. Whoever one you find easiest ❤️

I totally know what everyone is saying. I’ve felt it too. And still do at times. But have to suddenly remind myself any child is so special at any point. 😚 so keep going ladies if it’s really want you want deep down. No age gap will matter. That sibling loves them regardless.

@Astar21 don’t fret yet. See above what I said to @MrsCristiano 9dpo frer negative can be 12dpo positive. So not out yet 🥰🥰

Hi again everyone. Been off mumsnet for a few days. Far too much to catch up on now lol but hope everyone is doing ok ❤️
I am now 9 dpo and I caved and did an easy@home test this morning. BFN 🙁 I know it’s early but it was so so white I can’t see it changing. Feeling really deflated again and spent a lot of day crying. Tried to cheer myself up with a bit of retail therapy but just ended up walking through the baby sections and getting upset again 🤦🏻‍♀️

@emhope 9dpo is soooo early. 9 days is such a short amount of time! You may not have even implanted at 9dpo. Please try not to feel too down

Hi ladies what a day I took that test this morning and then we got a phone call to say DH Nan had passed away 😢 it's been an emotional day. I've decided to do one more test in the morning to see what I get and then I'll just wait it out AF is due tomorrow anyway. I'm ready for bed already thank you for all your supportive words and @pangolin84 eeek very exciting line 💕

but…my father in law came and planted two sunflowers in my garden just after I had the surgery for the loss. Think it was the next day perhaps.

and I’ve been watering them and watching them grow for nearly 13 weeks and I said to my DH I have a feeling when they flower fully. Something positive will come. As I’ve waited weeks and weeks and nurtured them keep hoping they’ll flower.

well I got very excited today to see the flowers are starting to open up just and they must of started flowering just as I entered the 2ww 🥰

can’t wait to see them fully open and hope it brings me lots of sunshine and positive vibes 🌻🌻👶🏼

@Indianna2006 awwww that made me a bit emosh I really really hope it's comes true for you ❤️❤️ I can't even be bothered to go fish the toys out of the bath to take one 😂 think I might go crawl into bed and feel sorry for myself 🙊
