Two week wait, needing some company!

Hi everyone 👋
I've had two miscarriages, one in November 2021, and one in January 2022. Me and my partner have been trying for over a year. We have tried really hard this month to catch ovulation by using OPK's. I'm currently in the dreaded 2WW.

Anyone else out there in the same position? Would love some company in this tricky time! X

@SylvieArth oh I'm sorry 💔 that sucks, it's so disappointing.

BFN again for me today. And to top it off one of my best friends has just announced her pregnancy to me. I found it so hard, all I could muster was "congratulations I'm really happy for you" 😢 I really am happy for her, it just caught me by surprise and I felt a bit ambushed by it, it was on FaceTime with 1 other friend. I really would of appreciated a heads up text that I could of processed and responded too without my emotions being on show. Do you think it's bad of me to think that, she knows I had a miscarriage recently so it felt a bit insensitive. 🥺 I feel so guilty saying it xx

@helloimlaura 3 of my friends and my cousin have announced their pregnancy since my miscarriage but all of them spoke to me privately knowing what I've been through, which I really, really needed. I'm really sorry that your friend did that without thinking. That's really tough, I would have found it hard to hold it together. I was so happy for my friends and cousin but I really did need them to break it to me gently after what happened. 2 losses in 6 months... I couldn't have dealt with an announcement that in front of others. Sending you the biggest hugs xxx

I'm glad they were considerate to your feelings when they announced their pregnancies to you, I would of been grateful if she'd acknowledged what happened to me when telling me. But she kind of just pretended it hadn't happened, and then when she started talking about how tired and sick she'd been feeling I had to get off the phone so I didn't burst into tears 😂

@helloimlaura I'm not surprised 💔💔 that's incredibly tough..I know some people don't know how to react and deal with it but still, I know exactly how you feel. Really am sending you so much love xx

I’m sorry to hear about your friends announcement. That sounds pretty inconsiderate, maybe getting a positive just makes you act crazy.

in my personal update:
7/8dpo. Still no symptoms, not even regular bloating or cramps. V confusing cycle.

@Cally1980 in cycles with no symptoms many people have indeed gone on to get a bfp! I hope this is the case for you xx

Update from me, I'm around 10-11 dpo. Not fully sure as I didn't catch my surge this month BUT..
My symptoms are so different this month ladies..

I've been experiencing darkened nipples, they are so sensitive to touch.
I've also been getting a very dodgy tummy for the past few days, like runny loose stools and alot of gas. Of course, I haven't thought much of this symptom BUT.. years ago with my youngest, I too infact had a very dodgy tummy before my BFP with her! How strange?
I don't know, I don't want to think too much into it but I've tested yesterday and this morning, and I SWEAR there is the faintest teeniest line that's barely there but, ladies I really feel so pregnant. I'm going to hold off testing now until Friday ( when AF is due! ) but I just wanted to share with you all xx

Argh only one symptom and BFN.
very painful lower back last night, took a cocodamol and fell asleep and no symptoms today. Booo. Hope I am just weird but I think it’s just a strange cycle.

I’m starting to feel PMS, had cramping today and v v v faint spotting. Could be the start of AF😐
I’m really confused because 3 apps are telling me diff things, is it possible one doesn’t realise my luteal phase is shorter?
One says in due on 8th, other on 11th.
BFN on FRER last night.

AF arrived today.
Going to arm myself with ovulation strips and go again next month. And have some wine while I still can.

10dpo, AF started. Stupid luteal phase and slow sperm.

CD24, 13 ish DPO, BFN, getting PMT, ready for next cycle. I’ve ordered a Fertilily cup as it says it’s been proven to increase your odds of conception by 50%. So thought, why not give it a try 🤷🏼‍♀️ has anyone else used it?

Hi everyone - hope everyone is not going too crazy on the 2 week wait. I’m on month 1 TTC don’t consider last month - we had sex unprotected on supposed ovulation day but only once.
I was temp checking but decided to stop whilst TTC and see what happened naturally. This will be baby No.2 but pregnancy No.5 and first baby with my partner. He’s terrified his swimmers aren’t up to scratch as I’ve fallen pregnant on the pill, after taking the morning after pill and after DTD unprotected once all the other times 👀 weird isn’t it how when you want something it doesn’t seem to happen.
I have 6 days before period but tested this evening as I’m impatient.
cheap Morrison’s test - sure I can see a line or my brain is playing huge tricks 😂 🙄

I’m having a really awful period after having zero pms symptoms at all.
ALOT of clotting and had to use many many super plus extra tampons over the last 3 days. They wouldn’t even contain the flow. I have no idea what’s going on. I’ve felt awful.

Hi everyone, I'm currently 6dpo, this TWW is brutal 😂

Hi Everyone, I am so glad I found this group as I am driving myself crazy! We've had 2 pregnancies resulting in 2 miscarriages in the last 12 months and I'm currently 8DPO today with some minor cramping for the last few days, after a focused effort before the last ovulation. I've read this chain and it's so reassuring that everyone struggles with this TWW particularly when it's something you want so badly. I did a test this morning - silly as way too early! But I couldn't help it. Will try wait it out now until at least Friday which will be 12DPO.

On the TWW too after a late ovulation. About 4 DPO after a massive surge and the darkest positive ever on CD27 of about 32-35 usually !! Weird! Keeping positive however :)

Oh that’s so exciting! Baby dust to you. Yes, will wait now - last night I woke up around 1am with moderate uterus cramping, and my temp has risen back up, not sure if it accounts to anything but was very strange for me!

I don’t think I feel any different just now, I have cm when I wipe now ewcm but not exactly sticky either, small cramps now and again but nothing to notice unless I really look for them if that makes sense (aka probably all in my head) ! According to my app (tracking period and guesstimating with previous cycles then AF due in 3 days but it also predicted ovulation on cycle day 19 and it was much later) so yes constant questions in my head!!
