Hi everyone 👋
I've had two miscarriages, one in November 2021, and one in January 2022. Me and my partner have been trying for over a year. We have tried really hard this month to catch ovulation by using OPK's. I'm currently in the dreaded 2WW.

Anyone else out there in the same position? Would love some company in this tricky time! X

AF is due 8th June for me but since my miscarriages I’ve been spotting a couple of days before. If that doesn’t happen this time, I’ll test 6/7th. I’m lucky to already have a daughter but everyone I know who was pregnant at the same time as me then, is either pregnant again or already has another. I find that really hard!

JSS15 · 29/05/2022 17:37

I'm due the 6th @Lolly16 , think I will test on Saturday. I'm a sucker for squinting for lines but at the same time I do like to have a bit of warning when it's not been successful.
I'm lucky that the only person close to me that is currently pregnant is a colleague. We've had a couple of my partners friends who have had babies recently but I've found that's not really affected me as we don't see them very much. The one thing I did have to do was mute any announcements on social media, as there was suddenly a flurry of old friends getting PG and that was a bit overwhelming. Hope you'll be feeling a bit better soon @SylvieArth xx

Hi all,

hoping I can join too, also in the tww, ?2dpo I think going by opks.

We’ve been trying to number 2 since last July and I also had miscarriages November and January. It’s starting to get to me now! We might get some fertility tests if we’re still not pregnant by July as it would have been a year then so really hoping this is the month. We did the smep method this time, never DTD so many times I’m exhausted! Hopefully it’ll be worth it.

sorry to hear of others miscarriages, I hope there’s lots of positive this month for everyone ✨

anyone got plans for the next two weeks? thinking I’ll test on the 6th June (10dpo)

ArcEnCiel2022 · 29/05/2022 23:02

@JSS15 yes I had a really nice birthday, thank you! 😊
I'm sorry to hear about everyone miscarriages 😞 but it's nice to speak to people in similar situation! I really didn't realise that so many people were experiencing it before it happened to me and I started to look for information 😥 we will all get our rainbow! 🤞🌈
I completely agree about how difficult it is to deal with pregnant people around us... Fortunately for me I don't have any close friend pregnant at the moment, but even seeing women I don't know in the street with a bump makes me really sad, so I don't know how I will react if someone close get pregnant soon if I'm not myself by then...

ArcEnCiel2022 · 29/05/2022 23:11

@Lolly16 I'm getting a few days of spotting too before AF since the MC. I've read about so many people experiencing the same!
And also my luteal phase is shorter now, which is worrying me. It never happened to me before. I've started this cycle to take vitamin C and B6 in addition to Pregnacare conception, let's see if it will make a difference.

Morning ladies!
CD 17 4-5DPO for me.
Had terrible stabbing pains in left side of pelvis last night which is a bit concerning as ovulation had already happened (tracked peak with OPK's). It honestly felt like it was in my ovary. I know this can't be anything related to pregnancy because it's just too early. Perhaps just due to hormones? Anyone else experienced this?
Boobs also really, really sore. Maybe an after effect of ovulation. Eagerly anticipating what the next few days will bring. Hope you're all OK? Xx

Morning @SylvieArth.
I get some very similar one sided pain after ovulation. I've always just assumed it's my ovary doing it's thing to be honest! It always goes for me when i get my period.

I don't get tender boobs but I'm certain they are bigger after ov 🤪. I'm trying my best not to symptom spot this month.

Glad you had a nice birthday @ArcEnCiel2022 . I take the pregnacare vitamins too. I was thinking if maybe adding fish oil next month.

SylvieArth · 30/05/2022 10:54

@JSS15 oh 100% me too.. I've been beyond in other months and all of my symptoms were mainly down to ovulation and fluctuating hormones. 🤣 it's so easy to symptom spot though isn't it? You become hyper aware of every feeling in your body. X

Hi all
Can I join? 4dpo so very early days for me. Period due 8th June.
The wait is so long!

JSS15 · 30/05/2022 12:08

So true @SylvieArth. Last month I had 2 days of lower back pain which is very unusual for me and I was CONVINCED! Big boo when BFNs turned into AF. I have found it is helpful to note down anything major symptom wise so I know I can discount it in future.

Hi @Summerbreeze111 😊 x

Morning @SylvieArth 😁 and @JSS15 & @Summerbreeze111 hiya!

The side pain @SylvieArth sounds similar to what I felt when I was pregnant with my first baby! I felt a side pain a few days after ovulation. But I know people who get alsorts of pains in their cycles and it isn't related to pregnancy so who knows, it'll be exciting to see! 😁❤
I just can't stop thinking how fast I want this next week or so to go by! Haha 😁
I'm between 2-4 days past ovulation today. No symptoms apart from very sore nipples? Odd!

How are you girls feeling? Xx

SylvieArth · 30/05/2022 14:11

@BabyBx I'm having terrible nausea now this afternoon... like, terrible!! Again, I know this isn't pregnancy symptoms due to it being early but still, very unusual for me to feel this poorly around ovulation. 🤢🤢 really interesting that you experienced similar pains, it's so hard to know what's what 🤣 never experienced ovulation pain before to this extent xx

@BabyBx how are you getting on?

Loouloo · 30/05/2022 15:07

I want to join as well! The 2 ww is horrible… I’m 10 dpo but I’ve promised myself not to test until Friday.
Had a miscarriage early March, most devastating experience me and my fiancé have ever had. This month we’ve done everything in our power, but I have a feeling it’s not our time.

SylvieArth · 30/05/2022 16:02

@Loouloo I'm so sorry you've been through miscarriage too. I feel exactly the same. Its the worst thing me and my partner have been through. I'm still working with the miscarriage association to help me move past my feelings around it as we try and conceive again. It's worth looking at their website if you're feeling anxious. To be honest, it's because of them that we decided to try again after what happened. I'm here if you need to chat too :-) you're ahead of me by 6 days!! Let me know how you get on xx

Loouloo · 30/05/2022 16:12

@SylvieArth I've never heard of the miscarriage association, I will definitely look at their site, thank you ❤️
I’m here for you as well!
Didn’t find mumsnet until today. Feeling very lonely in my ttc journey and I searched for a forum, it feels like the right thing, it’s easing my mind knowing I’m not alone struggling after a miscarriage

Lolly16 · 30/05/2022 20:32

@ArcEnCiel2022 the spotting seems common after miscarriage but I’m not sure what causes it. I’ve done pretty much the same, last cycle I started taking Vitamin C and Pregnacare Plus as it has the Omega 3 and this cycle B6, as it’s supposed to help with luteal phase and protesterone production. I’m worried I may have low progesterone and that’s what caused the miscarriages.

I’ve not noticed any symptoms yet but I’ve just got back from a holiday, which was a good distraction, so I feel this next week is going to go so slow and I’ll be focusing on every little symptom.

MooBugz · 30/05/2022 22:49

Hi @Loouloo I had a mc early March too and just wanted to wish you good luck! Completely sympathetic to the lonely feeling after and in hope you find comfort here, I know I did.
Ladies supporting ladies 💪

Loouloo · 31/05/2022 05:50

@MooBugz I'm sorry to hear that!
MC is so common, but it doesn’t make it less heartbreaking! I’m just glad we can support each other ❤️

SylvieArth · 31/05/2022 08:05

Yes people kept telling me after my two that its really common which is heartbreaking in itself and definitely didn't make it easier.
I'm 5-6 DPO today. All of my ovulation type symptoms don't seem to be with me this morning. Just have a bit of lower back pain. Intrigued to see what the next few days bring. Sending love to you all xxx

Loouloo · 31/05/2022 09:03

@SylvieArth hopefully it means baby dust is coming your way😍 crossing my fingers for you!

11 dpo today. Just three more days! It’s a bit hard to concentrate at work..
I felt really unwell this Sunday, went back to my notes the days before we tested positive in February and I was feeling unwell then as well. Trying to not read into it too much but it’s giving me hope

SylvieArth · 31/05/2022 09:57

Ooo that does sound hopeful! Yes, I felt unwell before my last pregnancies too at around the same stage xx

BabyBx · 31/05/2022 13:59

Fingers crossed for you girls this month 🤞🤞

I'm currently painting mine and my partners room today and in all honesty, I can't stop thinking of getting that bfp on a test! It's such an amazing feeling.

We can only hope this is our month ❤🤞.
Lower back ache @SylvieArth ooo! Hope it's a sign!

@Loouloo fingers crossed you feeling unwell is a sign too! 🤞🤞

BabyBx · 31/05/2022 14:00

I feel fine today just lots of creamy CM! I keep feeling very wet (tmi!) 😂

JSS15 · 31/05/2022 19:06

I know what you mean @BabyBx , it's so hard to switch your mind off isn't it!

Lots of CM for me too, but sticky where last month it was creamy after O. Not sure if that's a significant difference. I was also STARVING today lol.

Fingers crossed for us all!
