Hi everyone 👋
I've had two miscarriages, one in November 2021, and one in January 2022. Me and my partner have been trying for over a year. We have tried really hard this month to catch ovulation by using OPK's. I'm currently in the dreaded 2WW.

Anyone else out there in the same position? Would love some company in this tricky time! X

Can I join you? I had a positive OPK yesterday morning (CD9) which turned negative early afternoon, back to positive by 4pm, and negative again by the evening 🥴🥴 and negative today. It’s a bit early for me to ovulate, usually get the surge on CD11 with a 26-27 day cycle, and usually it stays strongly positive for 48 hours or so. So, who knows, any guesses welcome.

BabyBx - I try to test using my second wee of the day, as apparently FMU isn’t too accurate. So around 11am ish. But once I get a positive I keep testing a few times a day until it fades. Hopefully you will get your surge very soon.

Angie2018 · 23/06/2022 13:31

@BabyBx all good thanks lovely!! 2dpo today and wishing the TWW away 🤣 feeling fine though. That's exciting sounds like you are about to ovulate!! Get baby dancing 💃 xx

Angie2018 · 23/06/2022 13:34

@SylvieArth ah we are both 2dpo! I take pregnacare vitamins too and so does my other half, he takes the well man ones!

TWW is dragging already!!

I think il wait and see if I have symptoms diff to AF or no symptoms which is what gave it away last time or see what my temp does, if I get an implantation dip and then a rise again. If I don't get a dip, get PMS symptoms and temp starts to drop il not test as I will be disappointed. I normally know about 5 days before if AF is coming xx

BabyBx · 23/06/2022 20:35

Hi ladies!

Still no positive OPK, I'm on CD12 now and starting to get a little worried as I'm sure I ovulated CD11 last month, I've also got no fertile discharge either. I noticed last month I had loads around ovulation, how confusing 😔. I'll carry on testing and hoping for the best xxx

Angie2018 · 23/06/2022 20:48

@BabyBx keep testing lovely and DTD! You can still ovulate without EWCM & you may miss your surge! X

SylvieArth · 25/06/2022 20:15

How are you doing guys?
I'm 4DPO, the pregnancy vitamins are making me feel nauseous as per. Hoping this next 2 weeks goes fast! X

Angie2018 · 25/06/2022 20:32

@SylvieArth hey! How are you? I am also 4dpo! Feeling totally normal tbh. Had very mild cramping earlier which I've never had mid cycle before surely that's too early to be pregnancy related? But also too early for anything AF related? X

SylvieArth · 26/06/2022 10:03

@Angie2018 it's a tricky one as lots of symptoms correlate to the stage of luteal phase you're at so it's difficult. I've had some stabbing pains today but looking back at previous cycles I've had stabbing pains around this time too and not been pregnant 🤣 it's so confusing. This is why I'm really trying not to symptom spot. 5DPO today and I think the earliest you can implant is 6DPO, have you heard that? Or have I totally made that up haha xx

OP posts:
Angie2018 · 26/06/2022 11:05

@SylvieArth Hey!! I am also 5dpo, and yes you are correct, implantation can't occur until 6dpo at the earliest so you are right any symptom now kinda can't really be a thing!

I am just convincing myself i am out already tbh xx

SylvieArth · 26/06/2022 14:48

@Angie2018 and me, literally convinced its again not our month but you just never know. Could end up surprising us!

My amazon order of pregnancy tests have arrived 🤣🤣 now just need to hold off as long as I can x

Wouldloveanother · 26/06/2022 14:59

I’m convinced it’s not our month as well, that said my positive test with DC wasn’t expected and seemed to come out of the blue. So who knows! I’m going to allow myself to test with the cheap strips from 10dpo, a FRER if I have anything by 12 🤞🏻

on a daydream level it would be a great month to get a BFP, no huge bump in the heat, and I think spring is a nice time to have a newborn.

Angie2018 · 26/06/2022 15:48

@SylvieArth I did this to myself last month because I didn't feel anything for the first 9dpo and I was in a right mood. Then had implantation at 10dpo and distinct symptoms and convinced myself AF was coming and my body was broken so got in even more of a huff. Then realised it was pregnancy and it ended up being a chemical.... I then decided to cheer up and see it as a positive that the sperm met the egg. Where is the logic 🙈😂

Trying to be hopeful again now!! OH has told me to be positive and hopeful so here we go again on the "I am pregnant train"

I can't wait to piss on a FRER next Friday if I don't think AF is coming 🤣 xx

Angie2018 · 26/06/2022 15:50

@Wouldloveanother I think it's a protection mechanism is convincing ourselves we are out so we aren't disappointed!!

I agree to get a BFP this month would be everything to me, it's my last chance of having a baby before I turn 34 next April. I also would love a spring baby x

BabyBx · 27/06/2022 06:58

Hiya guys how are you all doing? I'm cycle day 16 now and feeling less hopeful for this month but I'm trying not to think about it, we didn't have sex as much as we wanted because my partner was working loads of hours last week so was tired but I suppose you never know until you get a bfp or af shows up! Last month I was sooo convinced I was, I even had a 3 day period which was so unlike me and it was late and boobs was killing. But nope, BFN when I tested 🤦‍♀️😂. I really don't think this months my month but I hope it is for you ladies ❤🤞 xxx

Angie2018 · 27/06/2022 07:40

@BabyBx Hey!! Did you manage to DTD much over your fertile window? Even once is enough as it only takes one swimmer!! Xx

SylvieArth · 27/06/2022 08:00

6DPO today! Almost half way there 🤣 what women go through is bloody terrible. These two weeks always feel like two months.
Yes I agree @Angie2018 it only takes one swimmer @BabyBx and all my friends have gotten pregnant when they least expected it even when they were trying. Xx

OP posts:
Angie2018 · 27/06/2022 08:21

@SylvieArth ah I am 6dpo too! Still don't feel a thing 🤣🤣🤣 trying to be hopeful I really am! I didn't implant for another 4 days last time so I may feel nothing still for a couple of days more! Xx

BabyBx · 27/06/2022 09:38

@Angie2018 @SylvieArth this is my Flo app I often use to predict ovulation aswell as opks, I missed my surge this cycle but was so sure I ovulated on the Friday/saturday as I had a headache and kind of pain in my side similar to ovulation pains, we DTD Tuesday and last night which was both in the fertile window, I'm CD 16 today and convinced myself I'm out already although trying to remain hopeful! 😂🥰.. I guess we just never know at this stage! I've heard lots of woman don't get any symptoms on the month they get their bfp too how crazy is that? So glad I have you ladies to speak to on here it's so lovely xx

Two week wait, needing some company!
Angie2018 · 27/06/2022 09:44

@BabyBx ah don't worry you have DTD at least once whilst the egg was alive this cycle and it really does only take one!!

I agree I have read that it's normally the months people don't have symptoms they get their BFP... I had zero symptoms last month with my chemical. I just had implantation symptoms but until 10dpo felt like I normally would just not like I would before AF.

It's so nice to have the support from these groups isn't it xx

SylvieArth · 28/06/2022 09:34

Morning all. 7DPO today...
I know @Angie2018 is my DPO twin! Haha how are you doing?
I had cramps yesterday and nausea this morning but I do tend to get nausea with the pre-pregnancy vitamins. So could be that. The cramps yesterday felt like period type cramps. X

OP posts:
Angie2018 · 28/06/2022 09:59

@SylvieArth morning!! Ooooh cramps are a good sign 😁 how do you feel today? I don't feel ANYTHING. I did have a 0.3 temp drop today, hopefully it does rise again tomo. 7dpo and very much heading into implantation time now. I am praying for us!!!!! Xx

Wouldloveanother · 28/06/2022 10:27

well I just had a few seconds of ‘odd’ cramping, definitely in womb not stomach, which I never get, so naturally I am now reading a lot into this and have decided it’s definitely implanting even though I’m only 5dpo 😄

Angie2018 · 28/06/2022 11:49

@Wouldloveanother oh I really hope it's something for you!!!! X

SylvieArth · 28/06/2022 12:09

@Wouldloveanother oooo how exciting!!!
@Angie2018 I just feel a bit nauseous today but honestly, I think that's the vitamins. No other symptoms apart from the cramps yesterday xx

NHS website says ‘about 5 to 6 days after ovulation, the fertilised egg burrows into the lining of the womb – this is called implantation’. So 🤷🏼‍♀️ although I see posts on here saying that’s far too early?
