Well I am scared to type this (let alone say it out load) after last time but I got a BFP this morning!!! I am so scared and happy all rolled into one because of MC in October I so hope this one holds on.

Hey Ready - that's good of you to remember about Friday! I've been trying to do some preparatory work tonight but it's been filling me with dread so I've stopped for a while! I'm really not looking forward to going back but needs must for now. I really hope they approve my part time hours. I must try and spend some time tomorrow noting down all of the things I want to be clear on before going back - best to start as you mean to go on etc. It'll be strange wearing 'work clothes' again, though - I tempted to turn up in the jeans I've been practically living in for the past 6 months!

Sorry ladylush - didn't mean to tell you something you already know. Hope the thyroxine sorts you out

FP, good luck. I am sure it will be a lot better than you think in your mind. Good idea to take a list with you, so that you don't forget anything in there. I am sure they will expect you to come prepared

News from Rah - Isabella decided to show up yesterday (18mm and viable and from the left ovary) and so Rah had to go into the clinic at 8.15 last night and the procedure is now set for Friday!! SOOOO EXCITING!!!! Rah is having internet problems, but as soon as she is online again, she will be back to tell us everything

Go Go Isabella!! Thanks for the update Ready. For a minute there I thought they were keeping her in for 2 nights just to shove a catheter where the sun don't shine!!!

Fingers crossed for a successful strategic strike. Statisitically they reckon there is about 18% chance per cycle, so it is possible to try IUI for 6 months. But I am sending bamboo to Coventry to ensue the Pregnancy Panda knows that this month is the right month for a mini-Rah!!!!!

LadyLush - hope you don't get too many nasty side affects from your drugs and that they get you in balance.

Minix- make that appointment, as I am curious to see any affects - I know entirely selfish reasons! I read about one in Dartmouth that lets you go for a long weekend and does you and your partner!

Cheers Nappy - no horrible side effects - only the frequent bleeding. Otherwise feel slightly better if anything.
Reflexology is good. I was having it regularly and it helped with PMS and also w after my ERPC it seemed to speed up the process. Unfortunately it didn't help me conceive, but that is probably cos of the thyroid problem. Very relaxing though. It also helped with bloating etc.

97.5 today.... my chart looks a bit weird - but I guess it'll sort itself out - TCOYF has decided to put the cover line on at 97.4 degrees - this means I have three temperatures over the line and three under (random, not three below and then 3 above)... really odd as I would put the line higher! - ah well just let the software sort itself out!

Hi there, Just a quick question....

Does anyone know of a good thermometer which doesn't 'beep'. It's just that I want to temp surreptitiously as I don't want DP to think I'm obsessing! He'd rather it were a surprise.

If you find one can you let me know. I'm not trying to be subtle but it really winds me up first thing in the morning

I want one that has a backlight, but the only one I can find is in the US!!

fruitloop if DP gets used to you temping everyday, he wont know if you a "good to go" or not, you can simply say - oh well there is my temp rise, that ship has sailed.! Cheeky but effective

I bought mine from the US - which is why I have to temp in degrees F!!!

I'm off skiing tomorrow - well planned huh!! (complete fluke actually) so have a week to rest relax and BD . We're taking grandma and grandpa too so will have plenty of free time.

nappyvalley my DP wants my next pregnancy to be a complete surprise. He refuses to believe it's that difficult to concieve and thinks it'll happen when it will happen iyswim. So except for MN, I'm in it on my own a bit until we get a BFP Which is why I need a thermometer without a beep so he doesnt realise

Don't they realise that pregnancy is a BIG THING???? my DH was very unsupportive the 1st time round of temping, he put up with it because we thought we were going to have problems TTC.
I try to be a whole lot healthier when TTC - less alcohol, vitamins, exercise and must have a target as I couldn't do it all on the off chance I might get a surprise PG!!
Try this one on him - he probably wants you to be really healthy when you have your baby, so say that if you know your fertlie window you can make sure you are eating the right food etc, not drinking, omega 3 oil etc etc....to give baby the best start in life. It's working on mine this time

I'll give it a try FYM but he's not the healthiest himself. He's still a smoker [grrr] - fag ash breath [eeuugghh]. I can imagine his little boys getting to the egg then 'fagging it' before they go in, he he!

My DH was all for trying more naturally second time around but after 3 months he caved. He rather know hat when he puts the effort in it actually counts!!! tee hee
