Hi all,

Minxi - Thought I'd do what you said and start a new thread for 2008 (even though we have got a few days to go). Sorry to hear about AF but pleased your staying positive definately get reflexology going its worked wonders for me

Hope you have all had a lovely christmas

Well I am scared to type this (let alone say it out load) after last time but I got a BFP this morning!!! I am so scared and happy all rolled into one because of MC in October I so hope this one holds on.

OP posts:
minxi · 07/02/2008 11:05

I am confused - full on af started today - well actuallt last night - no chance of implantation as haven't even bd once in the last 2 weeks!!! and as dh has been away and myself v ill what is going on...? do you think I am having an odd month due to illness ? I am actually quite pleased as it means when we are away in 12 days time (together as a family for a week) it would be the right time?! help?!

ladylush · 07/02/2008 11:18

That's strange minxi. It could be cos you were ill.

Lol at well timed attack Ready

Ready · 07/02/2008 11:34

Minxi, HUGS, that is , but then I suppose illness can affect our bodies quite considerably. Is it normal period blood? I am not suggesting implantation or anything, but sometimes it is possible to bleed lightly for a few days in the middle of the cycle, and it is because the lining gets too thick and has to shed a bit. Last year I bled for 2 days in the middle of my cycle and was totally baffled and my GP suggested it could have been the case. But it was fresh red blood, not period dark red? Cor, the things we talk about . I love your silver lining attitude about going away

Ladylush it feels like after all this time, attack really is the best course of action ? batter the egg into submission

Lottie, I love a soapbox rant I agree about the treatment of diabetics, I think they have a ?cover-all? mentality. Glad that the low carb diet has had a dramatic effect on DP. I personally love bread, so cutting it out would be so hard for me. I eat cereal for breakfast ? are they considered carbs? My biggest problem with my diet is that I don?t eat enough fruit and veg. It is a struggle to get to 5 a day.
Your list of vits makes my pregnacare look sad ? I am toying with the idea of the Zita West vits when our latest lot runs out. Have you noticed a difference since you have been taking your new vits?

Ready · 07/02/2008 11:34

Haha. That was supposed to be a face Minx, goodness knows where the numbers came from

ladylush · 07/02/2008 11:43

I thought it was cleverly disguised expletives

minxi · 07/02/2008 12:26

Ready I am not just optimistic that this is cd1 again... it is full on period not light - full on! so as I'm not sure will see how long it lasts if lasts more than a couple of days will start a new cycle!! which yes am pleased about as means I don't have to wait as long never had it before - but also had a strange feeling that had ovulated really early too (which is also odd) but had lots of ew about cd7 which is also odd... oh damn body I have no idea if I say 'odd' again am going to scream arrrrgggghhhhhh!

LOL at you Lottie with your vits and thermometer back out again.... good luck though

Rah where are you - what is happening - are you ok??!

Must dash hello to everyone else - am off out for lunch with some scrummies...... (school run mummies)

Hello! I've a sneaky feeling I've been BD'ing too late in my cycle since TTC (have been ignoring EWCM in favour of day 14 of clockwork 28 day cycle). So am going to start Friday or Saturday which would be CD 10 or 11. Would my esteemed temping colleagues recommend daily BD'ing or alternate day BD'ing? Normally, I'd rather take a bath/read a book/shop on eBay than BD but given drive to procreate, have decided to put my non-existent sex drive on the shelf. I know there are arguments for & against daily BD'ing ... but this being my first time around I'd love your opinions.

PS - Ready Congratulations on both the job offer and the well-timed attack!! You rock.

Dear Hanaflower

You know - and I hope you don't take this the wrong way - it's somehow reassuring to know that there's someone else out there who's not that into 'it'. Maybe we're more normal than we feel ... I have issues too being badly overweight (size 18-20). I feel the same way - the possibility of getting a BFP is worth more than anything else. We very, very rarely have sex outside the baby-making window either.

Am so sorry you're feeling depressed. Do you mind me asking if you've been to a Dr? I'm right here anytime you want to chat.

Evening all! How's everyone today?

I have a totally stupid question to ask! Is it possible to enter a fertile patch as early as CD8? I've been getting lots of EWCM today and I've never had it this early before. My last cycle was a little longer than usual - perhaps this has had an effect on this current cycle? Or maybe it's just a rogue patch of EWCM.

RahRah1 · 08/02/2008 09:23

hi all.... sorry I have been missing for a few days, but I've had flu/cold.... and just felt like poo.. I've even missed my appointment with the hospital, but will go today. I got a peak on my monitor today, so think this month is buggered as I will probably ovulate at the weekend before they can do the IUI...
I give up! Oh and we have had no sex... so there is no chance this month! Least the 2ww won't be so painful, unless I convince myself of a miracle conception ... which is highly likely knowing me!

RahRah1 · 08/02/2008 09:24

Whoops, forgot to say hello everyone and hope you are all well.
