Sorry girls that I ahve been so silent during the last few tumululous days!

rah,Ready am thinking of you. Must be very stressed at the mo, it is so hard not knowing. I wish we were designed with a coloured belly button. 1 colour for ovulating and another for pregnant!

minxi sorry you have had a tough time this cycle big hugs.

Thanks to all our lovely visitors over the last few days, it is fab to see that we are not forgotten by our successful Temping Sisters.

ladylush/FYM will check out websites when not at work!

bb2b welcome to the mad house. If you have already said, what is your potted history?

news form the South Coast, is that went for a scan on monday. Folicles not doing anything, but cannot come back for a rescan on Friday as am ata funeral. So got v pissed off about the whole thing and ranted at DH, so we have looked at our calendar and moved a few things next month to try and give Clomid a chance. Personally I think I only need progesterone, but Not seeing consultant again until march so might as well give it a try and see what it does to my cycle. rah we could be clomid buddies - which based on our personalitites means we will both be going totally nuts!!! DH is not looking forward to it!!! Somehow I am always teary after a probe.

I was feeling very gloomy but now pleased that I have got a smiley face (first time since using them).

Ready, Rattling, Rah (alliteration!)sorry you are so down. I will probably feel like this at the end of the month too It's a bit of a rollercoaster - one day sad, another quite optimistic.

greedygreedyguzzler · 23/01/2008 12:43

ready -

FurtivelyPosting · 23/01/2008 12:49

Oh no, Ready. I'm absolutely gutted for you. (((hug)))

Hiya FYM - we're at very similar points in our cycles. We can become increasingly obsessive together!

ladylush · 23/01/2008 13:55

Am so sorry Ready - did not click that you were on cd1

NappyValley · 23/01/2008 14:17

hugs Ready and yet you still manage to beautifully tidy up our temps. mother Nature is a cruel temptress when our cycles change. I am sorry for you my sweet. Big hugs and I second ladylush's comment in passing you a large glass of your favourite tipple.

minxi · 23/01/2008 18:34

Oh Ready so not fair - thinking of you today..hope you are okay {{{{hugs}}}} I have just been for reflexology - she specialises in fertility and it was amazing... so relaxing and I fell asleep - I have never done that in a treatment before ever!!! I'm going next week then every other week I think..as expensive but cheaper for the moment than invasive treatments!!

Rah where are you - hope all is going well....

Nappy how are you doing....have you heard when you start the clomid?

ladylush glad you finally got a face..go for it!!

furtive hope you are not stressing too much in 2ww!!!

RahRah1 · 23/01/2008 18:53

Hi all....

Ready - I hope you liked the pictures of my cats. )) I've sent to about 100 emails!!

Minxi - I've done reflexology before, very relaxing, but never relaxed enough to go to sleep... maybe thats my problem!

NappyValley - the scanning is so annoying. The first cycle we did I went for 5 scans in a row just to be told my egg did not get big enough and then it bloody legged it down my tube before they could do anything anyway! But the next month my egg was completely different. So I'm saying it was amazing the difference in my egg's just within two months, as they come from different sides each month. Hopefully next month you will see big eggs

rattling - good news on the appointment and ovulation. At the clinic I go to IVF waiting list is only 4 months!!

ladylush - Excellent news about your smiley face Positive!!

FP and FYM - watching you two closely... not long now...

hanaflower - I did acupunture and was amazed by feelings I had afterwards. I had a slight bleed once and was mid cycle (straight after leaving the acupuncturist) and then my period came on very early on day 22 instead of 28-32 after leaving him.... I don't have a clue what he was doing,,, but certainly did something. I've been thinking about going to a different acupuncturist that specializes in women and fertility and is trained in obstetrics. I was worried with the other guy in case I did become pregnant he would do something that could harm the pregnancy.

Well my update is temp 36.7, BFN still and now worried that perhaps I did not ovulate when I was suppose to on that HCG injection, as otherwise would of come on by now. Also still have bad period cramps.... this is doing my head in! Telephoned the nurse at the clinic and of course she was not there and will call me tomorrow ummmmmmm.
Well DH has removed all pregnancy tests from me, as I have now - somehow ... gone through about 10 tests. So obsessive compulsive behavior mixed in with desperation is not a good combination. So I just have to wait for my period and then work out what happened... and NO MORE TESTING - (If tomorrow I say I'm nipping off to Asda.. you know what I'm doing!

mummy2olivia · 23/01/2008 19:53

rah rah- I have been seeing an acupuncturist in coventry- Floraine Eastelow in Earlsdon. She specialises in acupuncture in conjunction with IUI and IVF and works alongside CRM where you are being treated. She has a website- look her up. I have found her excellent. xxxx

ladylush · 23/01/2008 22:57

Minxi I have been going for reflexology since my m/c last July but I took a breather since December once diagnosed with hypothyroidism cos I wanted to give my body a break iyswim to let the thyroxine kick in. I love it - so relaxing. It also helped with bloating and oedema eg puffy ankles etc and I slept really well after a treatment. Did your therapist tell you to drink lots of water after your first treatment? I plan to restart it next month if still not pg.

I got some of my blood results back today and the good news is that my TSH (throid stimulating hormone)has come down to 3.8 - was previously 6.8 so is now within the reference range. Still waiting for the thyroid anti-bodies result. Am hoping that this gives me a better chance of conception (and staying pregnant).

BabyBump2B · 24/01/2008 00:07

Hi Ladies!

Ready - thinking of you... sorry to read your news!

RahRah - try to wait - those tests with their evil little lines are so depressing if they're negative.

Have been trying to write this now for 4 hours so am going to give up and wish you all well until tomorrow!

PS had an excellent conversation with DH last night - he wouldn't let me have a glass of wine (single) 'just in case' - last time with DS he couldn't understand why I was being so cautious!

freddiesyummymummy · 24/01/2008 09:25

My friend is not too good
